Our second visit to this gem of a site and by no means any less an opinion than before. We had glorious weather over a 3 day stay which meant we could truly enjoy the vast open spaces of the site. You have a large area in front of your pitch where it perfectly safe for the children to perfect their cycling skills up and down the field or an impromptu cricket match, and then venturing further down the site a wide orchard with a well stocked pond, suitably child friendly and safe with a heavy duty mesh over it. The cheery owners even brought a bag of fish food to our pitch for the kids to feed the goldfish. Everyone loved watching the sheep grazing in the lower orchard and the horses in the upper field.
Local Co-op was well stocked for additional groceries and newspapers and the chip shop came highly recommended.
Being fairly close to home this is ideal for us for an extended weekend, so the lack of a 'shower block' is by no means off putting. The toilet is kept clean and the large communal room with sofas, TV, fridge etc is a great idea and a nice touch.
Will be booking again soon.

Spent one night on this site in July. The owners were lovely, very helpful and friendly and there are no designated spaces to park, just go where you want. The site has one toilet/washroom which was very clean, no showers so you need your own. The site has electric hookup. Price for one night with hookup was £13. 00 The owners have converted one of the barns into a lounge and it contains a couple of sofas, chairs and a TV, kettle, fridge/freezer which is excellent for anyone camping in tents if the weather is bad or if you have children.
Dogs are allowed on the site and the owners have a little dog themselves who is very friendly.
The site has plenty of space as it is an orchard with a grazing paddock for horses.
Would go back to this site again. Lovely views out over Kent fields.

This site is one that has welcome on the gate, is a delight and very well kept.
The amenities locally are very good, no faults can be found.
We look forward to many visits this year.
Owners and Manager, are always ready to ensure your stay is all you would expect. Then More
There is plenty for children to do as well as safety and freedom. All local shops are very close and the fish bar is excellent

Wonderful site. Very friendly people who couldn't do enough for you. Very Dog friendly and it was so nice to see the horses come into the paddock each morning!
The local pubs all do good food and within walking distance in either direction.
The freezer compartment and kitchen type area was a godsend for us as it was an amazingly warm week!
I did really miss having a shower as I decided to stay on for a few more days than planned due to the good weather and great site, so I would love to hear if they install one.
All in all a real find and we will certainly be returning.
