We stayed here based on its good reviews and location.
The owner was very friendly and helpful when we checked in.
Everything in the site looked neat and tidy and the toilets and showers were the cleanest of any campsite we've seen.
The free fairy liquid in the washing up hut was a nice touch.
The site is really quiet and peaceful with good size pitches.
The walk down to Kenneggy cove is nice and very remote, so its easy to be away from people.
We will definitely stay here again.

*** Highly Recommended ***
Just got back from a fantastic week staying at Kenneggy Cove Holiday Park. A warm welcome from Linda greeted us on our arrival and continued each morning when we went for our hot croissants, coffee and bacon rolls prepared fresh on-site.
The grounds were beautifully maintained and the toilet and laundry blocks were spotless.
The site is a short walk from Kenneggy Cove and the overall position is ideal for visiting Penzance, St Ives (train ride recommended), StMichaels Mount and all the main attractions and beaches in the south of Cornwall.
We can not fault this campsite and we'll definitely book with Kenneggy Cove Holiday Park again.

This is the first time we’ve ever stayed on such an immaculate site after many years of camping – hence the need to leave a review! It’s tempting to just use 8 words: “THIS SITE IS OF AN EXCEPTIONALLY HIGH STANDARD!”
However, it would be much fairer to the owners to explain why we think this! We are fussy when it comes to the quality of shower and toilet facilities in particular. When the washrooms are of the high standard that Kenneggy Cove HP provides, you immediately feel treated as a (respected) guest as opposed to a (tolerated) camper. Through this and other attention to detail and quality, you are made to feel immediately welcome and ‘at home’ at Kenneggy Cove. The washroom block is immaculate: not only warm, tastefully constructed and spotlessly clean, but is also designed in a way that makes it easy for users to maintain the high standard of cleanliness throughout the day: it is truly 5*!
The site pitches are roomy and landscaped with subtropical plants. We have a caravan with awning, but have camped under canvas and once had a motorhome too in the past. This site is perfect for any camping method.
The owners have put a great deal of thought into all aspects of the amenities, even down to a super-clean and roomy indoor washing-up area within the washroom block and (adjacent to this) an outdoor tree-shaded site for the recycling/refuse area…handy in that you can take your rubbish with you as you pop over to wash your pots or have a shower!
The extra touches are very thoughtful and well executed: a quality breakfast menu from bacon baps to freshly-brewed coffee with croissants. You can patch into free wi-fi at the reception lounge with its adjacent outdoor terrace of seating, borrow books and freeze your cool packs there too. On site, the owners also run “The Fat Gull” on particular evenings, offering home-made take-away pizzas and curries. Although we didn’t try these ourselves, we were told by many other campers that they were superb!
The overriding atmosphere is tranquil, yet friendly. It is absolutely perfect for anyone who prefers to enjoy hearing conversation rather than the music of inconsiderate fellow campers or (worse still) an on-site disco! Having said that, we DO play our music pretty much non-stop when we're on our caravan and love loud music in the right setting!
The site location is also ideal for all forms of holiday activity with family beaches close-by as well as any number of smaller rocky or sandy coves for the more adventurous. St Ives, St Michael's Mount, Lands End and The Lizard are all only a short drive away. The site is also the perfect entry point (2 minutes) for the fabulous Cornish Coast Path!
Finally, do not be thrown by the site’s name – this is NO “Holiday Park” – instead a really peaceful little haven – a real gem! We will definitely be returning next year!

As has been mentioned before, this is an immaculate, spacious camp site. The toilet block is exceptionally clean. In the shower, however, one has to press a button every few seconds to keep the water flowing and there was no place for soap, shampoo etc.
The touring caravans are well spaced out giving the site a spacious feel to it and they are mainly on a level area. The tents are on a more sloping part of the site. When we were there the wifi was free of charge and could be accessed near to the excellent reception area and terrace. Perhaps an improvement would be to have individual fresh water and waste water points for each pitch, or a selection of pitches, and a 24 hour wifi system that can reach each unit.
We have stayed here a few times and have enjoyed the walks over the rocks to the beautiful sandy Kenneggy Cove beach. However, on our last visit when we were walking back over the rocks, there was a loud noise and suddenly a lot of liquid gushed out of the cliff side. We had noticed the smell before but thought it was the seaweed. I would be interested to know what the liquid was.

Had a lovely stay here in a large tent. The pitch was a good size. The washrooms were really nice and felt more like a bathroom than some of the spartan places that other campsites I've been to have.
There was a nice continental mix of campers, which I consider to be a good sign when someone travels all that way to stay there.
Linda was a great host and made us feel very welcome. She went above and beyond by lending us her electric hookup for the night when I discovered that mine wasn't working.
Didn't eat out much, but the chippy just up the road towards Perranuthnoe was really good.
Cracking views of the moonlit coast during those late night toilet trips. Peaceful too, albeit with some evening/morning mooing. Definitely not a rowdy, party campsite.
Some great beaches nearby and some amazing, world class beaches just a short drive away. There was always somewhere to go for a day out. Being National Trust members we focused on those places mainly.

We've been here lots of times & it's as wonderful as ever. Toilet & shower block updated & well maintained - even when torrential downpour meant entrance was flooded on our 2nd day! With the aid of an entrance plank this was soon sorted! Nice peaceful site in fab location.
We found that the path down to the cove had deteriorated & access was quite hard work. Walked along SW path to both Perranuthnoe & Marazion & the other way to Praa Sands & Rinsey Head - amazing views.
Good service as always from Linda & Mark - who kindly took in an eBay purchase of a kayak (next day delivery!) for us - well worth it - brilliant fun!
Falmouth Packet & Victoria Inn great food, with The Crown at Goldsithney good food & cheaper.
Perranuthnoe beach now our favourite as our girls are older, great beach cafe there. Praa Sands too busy now for us, although we did get to the far end of Praa (Hendra) &
It was quieter & body boarding waves excellent!
The washing machines on site were out if order for part of our stay, but we used service wash at Suds & Surf Penzance & for £10 they washed, dried & folded it - great value

This site really was great. The welcome from Linda was warm and friendly. The pitch area was generous with easy access to water. The view was spectacular with great walks available along the coast line, which is only a 5 minute walk from the site.
The toilet block was spotless, clean and well maintained.
I cannot recommend this site highly enough. I do not know why you would go anywhere else!

After driving past the site as we missed the sign down the quiet lane, we spent a fabulously sunny and relaxing week here mid-July (tent with hook-up, two adults plus a dog). Linda and Mark were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Dog friendly site. The pitch we had was flat and we had enough space. The facilities were fantastically clean with free warm showers and a well equipped laundry room and in-door washing up room. Short but very steep walk down to a pretty local beach from the site. Approx. 15 minute drive into Penzance. The no noise after 10pm policy was respected by all other campers despite being busy and with its quiet location day and night was peaceful. On-site pizzeria 'The Fat Gull' offered delicious pizzas a few nights per week plus breakfasts available daily from the site (quite pricey but nice). The website doesn't do it justice - a fantastic site for a peaceful escape. We would go back again.

My wife and I have just returned from a 2 week stay at this wonderful campsite where we received a very warm welcome from Linda and Mark not forgetting Hugo the dog. The facilities are excellent especially the on site takeaway where home made pizzas are his speciality. It is a very quite tranquil site in an ideal location to visit the many beautiful beaches on both sides of the coast. We arrived early and were able to pitch which was much appreciated after a long journey.
Many thanks for making it a very special 2 weeks for us.

We only stayed at this campsite for 1 night but would happily have stayed longer. Lovely sea views, absolutely immaculate facilities. The site is very quiet and peaceful, waking up in the morning sunshine to the sight of the sea and sound of birds and a cow mooing was so nice. The site is very close to the coastal path so lots of scenic walks to be had. Unfortunately the council are repairing the way down to the beach so we were unable to get down to the cove, I think it said it would be open again for the summer. The site has a good play area for children, is within a short drive of lots of places of interest in this fantastic part of the country, so lots to keep all the family entertained, would really like to return.
