We highly recommend this site. We were given a warm welcome, had tent with EHU and could see the sea from our pitch.
The site was very well maintained and the facilities were excellent, clean warm showers and clean toilets. Washing up facilities were located in between the ladies and gents, were undercover, clean with washing up always available.
There was plenty of space between the tents/vans and we had a fabulous holiday in a beautiful part of the country. A short drive away is a large Tesco and Morrisons.
We stayed for 2 weeks and I didn't want to come home! We will definitely return.

This site is our idea of perfect heaven, that's why we return every year, year in year out.
The site overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and on a clear day you can see the blue of the Atlantic shimmering in the sunshine alongside the dark green hills.
The site makes you feel as if you are on a Continental site. The gardens and plants are colourful, plentiful and well tended.
There are so many plusses about this site that it's hard to know where to begin. For us (my sister and I), it's the peace and the quiet of this site that we love above all else.
There are no big family groups, no noise ever - at all, whatever the time of day or night and by 10pm, it's definitely no noise whatsoever
The site is always peaceful and calm and you can relax and drift away. The perfect antidote to the stresses and strains of modern day life.
Facilities are spotless - again, whatever time of day, the shower block is always scrupulously clean with plentiful hot water - free showers and free use of the installed hairdrier so hurrah!, no fishing around for 20p coins!
2011 saw new, modern hi tech showers introduced and new roofing on the shower block.
The owners will order your daily papers for you and serve fabulous breakfasts, bacon rolls, croissants, real coffee etc etc all good value. You can take your food back to your tent or eat inside or outside on the patio. I can highly recommend the bacon and new laid egg rolls they are divine!
There is an extensive lending library of books in Reception, so don't worry if you forget a book, there are plenty to choose from here.
You can also purchase basic food essentials along with basic camping essentials.
There are plenty of EHU points but the site is so popular that booking is essential, especially during the main holiday season.
There is a laundry room with washers, driers and an iron and ironing board. The iron is free to use.
Near to the Laundry room is the children's play area.
There is a pot washing area with hot water and complimentary washing up liquid.
A short walk and you will encounter the local store in Rosudgeon which also doubles as a post office. This stocks gas, food, papers, alcoholic an soft chilled drinks.
Further down the same road by car another store is encountered selling similar provisions.
Classic car enthusiasts will adore checking out the latest restored 'classics' from 'West Country Classic Cars'.
A short bus ride from the road at the end of the site will take you to Praa Sands with its fantastic beach and facilities.
Further down the coast is the little piece of heaven known as Porthlevin which is a relatively undiscovered jewel of the Cornish Coast with the most amazing beach stretching for miles with no one on it! Instead, for some unbeknown reason, visitors prefer to stay at Praa Sands where you are like sardines on the beach in July and August.
The small fish shop in Porthlevin, down the side street serves the best fish and chips I have ever tasted and it was no surprise to hear that the owners were from 'Ooop North!'
The site is ideally situated for travel into Penzance, St Michael's Mount, Mousehole and also St Ives, Newquay and other major Cornish resorts. The day Rover is especially good value for money.
There is a pub, 15 minutes from site, it is a gastro-pub serving all Cornish produce, the sort of pub that the Hairy Bikers may stop at and have a 'cook off' with the resident Chef.
It is quite expensive, (of course that is relative), but Sunday lunch at £8. 95 represents good value (as long as the portions are Yorkshire portions!), we visited the pub for drinks but did not eat there but the food served looked delicious and good comments were made to us from people who had eaten there.
All in all you cannot go wrong visiting this site.
I would like to keep it all to myself but all praise to Linda and Mark for such a fantastic site and for creating such a delightful ambience. We can't wait to return next year and have already paid our deposit and secured our pitch.

Booked this site for first 2 weeks September. Drove through the night from Merseyside and arrived early morning and pulled into a layby to await 1200 hrs to get on site but having rang them Linda said I can come straight on and it was only 1030 so well impressed. Quite a tight entry onto site with trees touching my unit as I pulled on so a bit of polish is needed on van but not a big issue. Linda and Mark are fab and could not do enough for you. Explained how they do a breakfast in the mornings and that wifi is available near the reception etc. The pitches are all grass and its sort of up to you where you want to go when its not busy. I just pulled on where it was easiest with a twin axle. Electricity was very close so I was plugged in in seconds. There is a number of water points about the camp and the waste and chemical waste is over at the toilet block. The toiles and showers are very tidy and showers are large and have a separate bit for hanging clothes and a chair. Only complaint here is the push button gives you water for about 5 seconds. 30 would be better. There are a small number of statics on site as well that are all well kept. Lovely palms and flowers on the site.
Pub is the Falmouth packet inn about 15 minutes walk but the main road has no walk path and is very tricky when lots of traffic so Mark told me of a farm track off to the left past the last farm house that brings you out at the pub without going on the main road. Petrol station has a post office and small mini mart and cash machine as well as bottle gas.
Coastal path to Penzance to the right and porthleven to the left is a must. Porthleven is a lovely place. Busses stop at the turn off to the lane that leads to the site but Christ they are not cheap. £4 to Penzance £7. 50 return. Its only up the road. Anyway lots of lovely places within easy reach. £29 a night was in my view a tad expensive as I have paid less for a fully serviced pitch but I guess you pay for a lovely spot. No complaints really and I will return at some point.

Just returned from our second fantastic visit (this year) at this lovely quiet, friendly site. A warm welcome again when we arrived and well kept pitches and gardens. Despite the bad weather and the site being fairly full the toilets and shower block were kept really clean. The laundry facilities are very useful if you are staying for more than a couple of days and the takeway food is a real treat!
The play area looks great if you have kids with you and the site is really handy for walks down to the beach (never busy) and the coastal footpath.
We plan to return again!

Just returned from a week here and a very nice site. Added bonus is the very quiet beach just down the track. Access to the beach can be tricky but it is worth it because it is so quiet with very few people. Superb for walking the coastal path.
Owners offer breakfast rolls, fresh croissants, rolls etc and the morning papers which we found very useful. Very quiet whilst we were there but could be a bit crowded when fully booked. Facilities all excellent and very nice children's play area.

If you're looking for a relaxed environment, this is the place for you. My wife and I spent five days recouping here after getting married and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The site itself is clean and well kept - the owners are clearly passionate about what they provide. An on-site shop is very useful for all necessities, and the laundrette even provides an iron free of charge.
The toilet block is also well maintained, with showers being included in the fee (though a lack of temperature dial made showering with sunburn a tactical nightmare!).
A short walk leads you to the national coast path and a beautiful sandy beach accessible by ladder. This can be a little daunting at first but is safe.
The no noise curfew is a welcomed practice when staying in a tent; we want to fall asleep listening to the sea, not somebody else's music! All in all a highly recommended site - we shall return!

A very quiet site.
A beach 10 - 15 mins walk away, but be warned, it isn't easy to reach, down little tracks and then a metal rope ladder, then back up and a steep hill.
The site showers were good and the shop sold all the basics.
You could have a full english breakfast to take back
To your tent, but this was expensive.
Overall a good site to stay.

I, as a teenager first stayed at this site in 1983 with my friend and her parents. Back then it was just a field with an idyllic beach at the end of a rope!
20 years later in 2003 and 3 children later, we decided to return, expecting a much more commercial site spoilt by developement! How wrong were we?!
We have just taken our 6th yr in succession and wouldn't choose anywhere else!
Linda and Mark have retained all the natural beauty of the open cornish countryside while enhancing the site with shrubs and palms.
The site is small and friendly with all usual requirements i.E clean practical showers and toilet block with washing up area and small laundrette.
The beach is fabulous - the walk down is breathtaking as you take in the views across to the Lizard and beyond! Access to the beach however, is'nt for the faint-hearted as there is e vertical ladder down from the cliff and the walk down would'nt be suitable for anyone unsteady on their legs! At low tide it is possible to access beach over the rocks!
The surrounding area offers a host things to see and do! Cape Cornwall is amazing! Porthleven is a pretty harbour perfect for a warm evening stroll! Penzance is ideal for shopping as there are lots of shops that you can't find at home!
All in all Kenneggy has everything that is required for a happy, satisfying and truly memorable holiday! We meet up with the same people and have the same pitch every year! We have made some very special friends here and look forward to spending our holiday with them each year at Kenneggy!

We came across this site by chance, on a wet evening and we were feeling very fed up! We were made to feel very welcome by the owners, they also welcomed our dog. We only paid for one night as we weren't sure if we would like it, but after a good nights sleep and getting dried out, the sun was shining in the morning and things seemed brighter. We had a good look round. Explored the local area and ended up staying the whole week. Although it was a little more expensive than we like to pay, the facilities were very good, nice clean shower block, plenty of hot water, good wash up area and laundry.
The site was quite quiet while we were there and we had plenty of room to spread out, which was nice.
The owners were always very pleasant and very helpful and supplied a very good bacon roll! and not too pricey.
The local area is fantastic, we never had to drive too far to get anywhere, lots to see and loads of walking. The cove at the end of the lane is lovely once you have battled your way through the rather overgrown path, we decided to go across the rocks at low tide, lots of pools to explore on the way and a gorgeous beach at the other side. The steps back up looked a bit dodgy to neogotiate with our dog so went back over the rocks.
All in all, a very good site and very nice owners and fantastic location, will definitely be returning!

We spent our best weeks camping at this great site. Kept in wonderful condition, polite and helpful owners, baking hot weather and a good chinese down the road. The beach at the bottom of the footpath is tremendous, hardly a soul on there and as reported sheltered from the breeze. If you like to sit around and relax or go for a walk around the coast this site is a must. Even though the pitches are a little cramped we never felt as though we were on top of one another. We were located three pitches up from the toilet block next to the gravel road and although there was a little noise from the early birds going for a wash it was never enough to loose any sleep. We will definitely be back later when we have children
