Stayed here for one night in August with my 16 year old son on a cycling trip. Found the staff really hospitable, the site lovely and clean and grounds well maintained.
The toilet and shower block was well kept and shower hot even at 11pm.
Will definitely come back for another visit and would recommend this site.
Sited on top of a hill was a bit of challenge for an old boy like me but not for my son!

Lovely site which suited us perfectly camping with our grandchildren. The tent area was opposite the small playground so the 5 year old could amuse herself while we set up camp and was easily seen. And heard! Staff very friendly and helpful and kept the site immaculate. The shower block was clean and warm but the cubicles just a tad too small when in there with a lively child but we managed. We were the only tent there so had pick of the tent field, but I could imagine it would not be quite so spacious in high season. It is a site that we will use again as there is lots left to do in the area, the 'boys' want to return to the Battle of Britain museum and the Leas play ground in Folkestone will keep the younger one happy all day long.

We stayed at Little Satmar for just one night. With family who were staying for 2 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds are immaculate, there's not a spot of rubbish anywhere. The washing up area is clean, tidy and has constant hot water. The showers and toilets are clean, tidy and immaculate. There is a playground for the children. Ample walking areas for those with dogs.
I would highly recommend this site and will be stopping here myself in the near future.

Two day bank holiday stay at this beautifully looked after site.
First trip in a tent to Little Satmar and will be visiting again in the near future.
The site offers a small play area for kids, with two swings and a small log cabin. Not a very big area but enough for the kids to have fun.
The amenities are kept spotless! There is 4 loo's in the ladies and 2 and 2 in the mens. The showers are also hygienically clean!
The washing up area is also kept spotless by everyone who used them, and were inspected regularly by the staff. There is a food preparation area available with an area for disposing of waste food for composting/recycling.
The grounds were kept impeccably and drainage was not a problem on the field, considering we had a torrential downpour on our first night there! We were thrilled as there was not one bent or broken peg when packing up as we have had at other sites.
Brett and Caroline, the management are fabulous! Nothing is any effort, all requests are dealt with quickly.
We would highly recommend this site and give it 10/10!

Easy access through static caravans, pretty site, well laid out/numbered pitches for easy caravan parking, a nice area for tents, and a safe area for children to play.
Toilet block with w/up facilities and bins for campers, the shower block is just round the corner, everything spotless, plenty of hot water. Has a camp shop with basic provisions. Very friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble.
Dover and Folkestone all within easy reach, as are the ferries and the channel tunnel, and Canterbury is just 35 mins drive away. Lovely views over the channel about ¼ mile away with a cliff top cafe, plenty of dog walks round the edges of fields close to the campsite (shame the dog owners don‘t clean up!)
The Royal Oak pub/restaurant nearby looks a little rundown from the outside but the staff are nice and the food stunning - all fresh cooked so I don’t mind the wait.
Not far away is Port Lympne wildlife park, great for kids and adults, where a truck drive round the 'savannah' area is a must.
Been four times, I well recommend it.

I have stayed at this campsite nearly every weekend since March as I am a channel swimmer in training and its nearby to both Folkestone Sunny Sands and Dover. I chose this site over others nearby because the staff were helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make sure I felt safe and secure. (I camp alone at times)
The camp site is spotless with well maintained pitches and a good sized car park. There is a children's play area too. My sat nav broke whilst I was there and the campsite manager offered to lend me his.
The pitches are a great size and there are plenty of electric hook up points.
The local pub The Royal Oak does a great freshly cooked meal. The Lifeboat near Folkestone Harbour also is a great place to eat home cooked meals.
I swim in the sea when I am there so hot showers are a must. They are clean and they have never run out of hot water yet. The toilets are clean and well supplied too.
A favourite with camping channel swimmers, and for good reason.

I have just returned from staying at this site for the Jubilee weekend. Whilst the weather was dreadful the same cannot be said of the staff at this site. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful which helped to compensate for the lack of sunshine.
On the Monday an excellent BBQ was on offer to all guests for a voluntary donation to charity. The site is in a great location which made visiting Dover Castle a very easy trip out.
I would have no hesitation in returning to this site.

Lovely site, excellent pitch and adequate facilities. We enjoyed our stay but we found it very noisy. It may just have been that the particular visitors at the time were very loud people, but there were children invading our personal space, even crawling underneath our van.
I found that rather off-putting but I can't blame the site for that, only the parents.
I think that a little more firmness about noise levels late evening might be a good idea.

This is the second time we have stayed at this site the first for a weekend in 2010, this time for 4 nights Monday to Friday.
The facility are very good and all kept in a clean condition the wardens are very pleasant and helpful when needed.
This site is very busy with units departing/arriving for the continent via the ferries at all times day or night.
We were disturbed on only one occasion at 2am on Friday morning due to a motorhome circling the camp site past the rear of our unit several times, and finally stopping directly behind our unit, the disturbance continued for 20 minutes with much door slamming/talking etc.
The following morning we discovered the motorhome had parked very close behind our unit and was hidden from the view of the reception by the size of our awning. By 8. 30 am the occupants were packed and I am sure left the campsite before there presence was known and charged for.
I am sure this is not the first time that this has occurred (these people were French) and I do understand that people are booked on ferries at various times day/night, it is unfair when other units are disturbed by people arriving and accessing the field at any time.
Can I suggest the field is barriered from 10am until 7am just as Camping & Caravan sites are with those people having to leave or arrive on ferries be located in the carpark at a reduced rate.
