Arrived earlier than expected greeted by a friendly young lady who showed us too our pitch and where everything was.
The facilities are spotless and fully accessible for the disabled which is a bonus. WiFi and mobile signal were OK and the views are brilliant.
We booked to stay again before we left. Well worth a visit.

Loved this site especially the view from the caravan window which overlooked the loch.
We were staying for my special birthday and the owner made us very welcome and wished me a great birthday she also recommended a great place for lunch the following day which was really good.
The site is in a good location to tour the island and to get to Iona which we did. Saw dolphins from the site & eagles are easy to see on Mull. Definitely going back.
Facilities were really good on site brand new I think, wifi was a bit hit and miss but a better signal by the toilets,
The pitches vary as we had a small porch awning which only just fitted with the car the other side but we managed.

Super friendly staff gave me great directions by phone for where to set up on arrival because I was arriving late and when leaving told me the most picturesque route to take to my next destination.
Excellent facilities.

We stayed for 9 nights at Pennygown campsite in a trailer tent on hard standing pitch. The pitches were spacious but the gravel was large and sharp for the living area of the tent so extra cover in the form of rugs helped.
The toilet block was immaculate with 2 showers and 4 toilets. They were regularly cleaned and never too busy.
As well as a reception they had a small area with washing machine, tumble dryer (charges applied), a fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster which were free for anyone to use.
There is also free WiFi on site which was fine in the early morning but struggled in the evening when there was more use.
The site had a lovely dog walking area around the coast which was great for an early morning or evening walk where you often got fantastic sunsets over the water. There are 2 dog poo bins on the walk to use.
We found Pennygown very well located to see all the sights in Mull and although there was a road very nearby we weren’t disturbed by traffic noise.
There is a Spar shop just up the road in Salen which is well stocked and a petrol station with prices not much more than the mainland.
Overall it is a great campsite which I would definitely recommend if you want a base to explore the beautiful island ofMull.

We have been travelling round Scotland for 2 months and this is hands down the nicest campsite we have stayed on.
James and his lovely family made us welcome.
The site was spotlessly clean. The facilities were excellent.
Lovely walk down to the loch.
Wish we had been able to stay longer and would love to come back.
Cannot recommend it highly enough. 11/10.
I am sure it is child friendly but it is N/A for us!

Friendly and helpful owners and staff.
Facilities were always spotlessly clean.
Lovely positioned site with good size pitches.
The ground is quite hard (not owners fault) so take sturdy tent hooks.
Really enjoyed our stay there.

What a lovely small site this is. Beautiful views, a nice beach to walk along (or, in the other direction, via a footpath to the pub).
Plenty of varied birdlife on the site and at the sea. We saw a white-tailed eagle there.
Conveniently located for the Oban ferry at Craignure, and for Tobermory.
Easy to get to anywhere on Mull for good walks. Local village, Salen, has 2 (!) nice coffee shops and a decent Spar.
Just be warned that newspapers don't get there until mid/late morning.
First class laundry, dishwashing and toilet/shower facilities.
This is one of our favourite sites and we hope to return.
