 Brand new site that only open mid April this year. That said they still have finishing off to do with more electric hookups and landscaping but so far its a great site.
Just over a mile from Salen heading towards Craignure, on arrival we were met by Donald - a more lovely and friendly welcome would be hard to find. We chose our pitch which was hardstanding, their are plenty of grass pitches for tents and those not wanting electric. Views from the site over the Sound of Mull, pretty much every pitch has some view.
The facilities block is great, ladies and gents with showers and loos, a laundry room with washing machine, dryer and hand wash (washing machine charged on wash you use - so £1. 20 for a quick wash!). There is an outside pot wash but its under a covered area, with two sinks.
Pitches are spacious with grass areas between, although its a fairly big and flat site the pitching is broken up into several areas so feels smaller.
The site is nearly next door to the airport, 10-15 small light aircraft taking off each day, not intrusive we enjoyed it. The road isn't an issue for noise, into the evening its very quiet.
From the site there is a dog walk which takes you down to the beach, a decent walk for those wanting to exercise dogs.
The price per night is inclusive - no extras for awnings, dogs, showers etc. Only the laundry is extra.
The family who have set up the site are really helpful and friendly people, always willing to talk and keen to hear your views on the campsite.
As said they still have work to do but this is a great addition to Mull campsites.
