Lovely clean site, local for Keswick and Ullswater. Blencathra just a few minutes drive down the road. This mountain is a must!
Toilets and showers were kept clean and tidy. Free hot showers was a lovely touch.
Some lovely pubs local which serve nice hot food, but not the cheapest.
All in all a well situated site that served our needs.

I feel like I should leave a review,
Last minute booking and lucky as the bigger sites all full in the Lakes.
What a lovely site plenty flowers, great facilities spotless, everything painted and very tidy.
A mix of seasonal tourers and statics.
Staff and the above people very friendly, felt like a nice community feel.
Very reasonable prices, slight road noise but I knew that when booking.
But it doesn’t affect your stay.
Very handy for Ullswater, Keswick and Penrith with its array of supermarkets.
Some lovely countryside and views of Mell fell from the site.
Cv19 precautions taken very seriously too.
What’s not to like.

Lovely gem of a site situated between Penrith and Keswick easily accessible from the A66. Covid precautions well organised, sanitiser and wipes available everywhere with social distancing in place.
Toilets/showers very clean. Plenty of hot water, washing up facilities and laundry. Friendly staff.
The only downside we had was the tent field had become pods and seasonal pitches so we were put in a small field at the back of the dog walk out of sight only 2 hook ups available so spent most of the time on our own.
The price had increased since we booked and we didn't get senior reduction. Having said that I would recommend the site to anyone. It's a great site and well placed for a base to tour the lakes, lots of walks close by.
Lovely farmshop 0. 3 miles away selling basic groceries too.
Enjoyed our stay and the lovely weather helped.

Beckses is a gem of a campsite the owners are friendly and helpful and the facilities are extremely clean.
The site provides hand sanitising receptacles at nominate points on the site which more than covers Covid requirements.
We would definitely return here and we would not hesitate to recommend this campsite to others.

This site is clean, safe, friendly, spacious, flat, a good place to take a holiday.
The toilet/shower blocks are cleaned regularly, more so at present. The staff on the site were efficient and unobtrusive.
Only dislike is the noise from the adjacent A66, but I knew of the location of the site when we placed the booking and I could not say that the noise was too intrusive.
Keswick and Penrith are just a few miles away and the north of the Lake District is easily accessible.
Well worth looking at.

A great site, clean and well maintained. Hard standings all level.
Toilets and showers very clean, hand sanitisers and wipes in all.
The owners are great and welcoming.
The site itself I can't fault but the location wasn't right for me. Very close to the A66 (100m) and has is a very busy road. It quietens at night but lots not beat to sit and relax in an evening
