Really don't think this site is a site for tents,

The facilities are excellent

But the tents are stuck behind huge trees in the dog walk area. the grass is very very long and with the trees blocking any sun

It is very dull whereas the caravan area has sunshine all day, it looks like the tent area is just an after thought which is such a shame as the facilities are excellent for campers

The site is a bit rural so you do transport.

The webpage advertises as quiet but the site could not be closer to the very busy road which is constant day and night

Fantastically kept campsite, toilets and showers 10/10. The owner has really thought of everything. Fantastic prices, with EHU as well.

Only downside for us was the noise from the A66. It kept us awake most nights,

But please don't let that deter you from visiting. We are light sleepers. We will definitely visit again. I'll bring my ear plugs next time 😂😂.

What a little gem. First of all I booked out of the blue same day I travelled.

I was greeted by a very polite and friendly member of staff. Booked in and shown to my pitch.

It is a small family run site that was exceptionally clean and tidy. The shower and toilets where the cleanest I have seen.

It is located very close to A66 so you do hear a bit traffic but once in the caravan did not hear it, It's a beautiful and quiet site.

I would highly recommended

Really enjoyed the campsite, good tent field.

Toilet block nice and clean, pub less than a mile away.

Good bus service too all of the lakes.

This was our second visit to this caravan site, and it still lived up to our expectations.

It's small and quiet, with spotlessly clean facilities.

It's ideal for the northern Lakes, and handy as a stopover as its so handy for the M6, just off the A66.

We really enjoyed staying on Beckses caravan site. It was quiet, well maintained and easy reach of what we wanted to do.

We definitely would use it again and would suggest it to others.

A medium sized site made up of statics, seasonals and tourers. Nicely laid out and beautifully kept.

Well situated just off the A66 between Penrith and Keswick. Making it very accessible and great for exploring the north lakes and the Eden valley.

The only down side for us was its distance from the A66 (about 100yds) It is VERY NOISY. If you are used to traffic maybe you don't hear it. But not us. We would not go back for that reason.

This site has everything you need, clean, quiet, friendly owner.

Only 2 down sides is the toilet and shower block is cold and the tumble dryer is £3 for 35 mins.

Would stay here again if in the area as is a good price to others in the same area.

Lovely clean site with all the facilities you would expect.

Nice dog walk on site away from the tourers and walking distance to local pub.

Would certainly revisit.
