We went for the last weekend in august (Friday to Monday). They were four of us myself and my three sons ages 9, 12 and 14. The weather at the time was good which always help when you have a tent. On arrival we reported to reception. We were then told which part we could set up in we had a choice of three places. We set up near the club house. The camp site itself is nicely arranged.
In the evening we went to the club on site which there is a play park outside, in side there is a room that they do bingo and have entertainment I think just on Friday and Saturday has nothing on Sundays. There is a games room with arcades and pool table in. The arcades manly opperate on 20p. The drinks are about average for a on site club they are about the same as you would pay in a pub in a town centre.
The showers on toilets were clean and there is even a bath in the shower block near the shop. Water is nice and hot (push button system)and are always locked with a code to get in.
The shop on site is again about the price of any local shop but they is a Co-op and Lidl about 10mins walk down the road along with other few shops and a pub which does nice meals and family friendly.
There I another park on site with goal post, swings, climing frame etc. The pool is small but the kids enjoyed it. All the staff are nice. Overall we all enjoyed it and hopfully going next year for longer. I think the only main down side to the park is there is no main gate but has all my kids where old enough to know not to go out.
Morecambe itself is only a 10min drive and I would recommend happy mount park for anyone with kids.

Great site, picked it because it is really close to friends I was visiting. Will be going back to have a proper stay. On arrival as I pulled in, obviously a regular camper who was coming out stopped and said the reception was closed as 1 of the owners had gone to cash and carry, but the other was at the bar & pointed out where it was. The staff member immediately came down to reception to book us in. The amenities are very good with well kept toilet & shower blocks. The play park and indoor pool are great for the kids. Its a nice friendly little club house on site. The pitches are well set out.

First time visit to this site and will certainly be staying again! We had a fantastic pitch on site.
We had a very warm welcome from all staff. Reception was well stocked with information and leaflets. The shop was well stocked with everything you need from essentials to toys for the children.
The toilet block was kept very clean, free showers and hairdryers (which is very rare these days). Thank you to all staff that cleaned and stocked the toilet block daily.
The laundry and dish washing area was also excellent, kept clean and tidy.
The swimming pool was under cover and quite big, my only comment would be that perhaps it could have done with being open a little longer.
The overall impression of this site that it is very well organised, clean, first class owners and staff that made our holiday very enjoyable.
Thank you to all !

We stayed on this site on and off with statics. Its tidy -alas a lot of break ins to vans, no border fence on some of site. No main gate. Which leads to a housing estate. Sad. Will not be returning. Its very run down. The area of Morecambe itself is not bad. Its clean /tidy. The club on the site is too pricey. Staff are ok. Swimming pool is for children really. The grounds and site area are open to a lot of surface water

A well presented site with good amenities, well stocked shop with clean toilets with no heating.
The pitches were small and cramped, with our visit being very wet most of the pitches were under water.
Approximately a 20/25 minute walk into Morecambe town and seafront. Excellent cycle paths just outside entrance.
Would I stay again, probably not having to pay a charge for using debit card, first site in ten years of camping to make such a charge.

Arrived a few hours after the rain had stopped, ground very wet and puddles in places. Pitched by the trees in the area for tents without EHU.
Very peaceful until the 2nd day when the idiot near us decided to play his dance music ridiculously loud which drowned out the noise of the crowd from the Morecambe FC ground. Then again at midnight, not just played quietly for his own ears but with the car speakers turned up full whack and without a single visit from a warden they apparently now have. One of them had a Morecambe FC jacket on so don't know if they are regulars at the campsite or what.
Bathroom facilities are ok, the gents has a bath but not the ladies. Shower in one of the ladies was pathetic when the one next door was being used at the same time. Could defo do with being upgraded.
Park good, didn't use the pub or pool.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this site and we were really pleased with it.
On arrival we were met by a warden who told us we could pitch anywhere we wanted. We chose to pitch in front of the park so we could watch our boys play. The park area was good for the kids and had a climbing frame, swings, goal posts and a sandpit. It's a lovely grassy area so plenty of room for kids to play.
There is another park next to the bar on site which was good too.
We went to the pub on site on our first night and it was nice. The staff were friendly and there was a small arcade area for kids and it was quite busy in there. The drinks were reasonably priced and they also serve food which was cheap but we didn't eat here.
We did go to the pool one afternoon. It is quite small but the kids didn't notice and they loved it. It was warm and clean. The shower and toilet facilities were clean and there was a bathroom with bath, toilet and sink - again, ideal when you have young children.
The site is very well maintained. We saw the wardens driving about a lot and emptying bins. They also cut the lawn whilst we were there.
Its only a short drive into Morecambe. Plenty of shops, bike hire, arcades, wacky warehouse, beach etc.
We will definitely visit this site again

Stayed here in a tent for the weekend, its primarily a site for static caravans with just a small number of people in tents, caravans and motorhomes.
The site is located centrally in Morecambe right next to the new football stadium. There are shops nearby too. We had bikes, 5 minutes cycle into Morecambe centre.
The site has a shop, bar, play area and small pool. We used the bar in the evening and there was a cabaret singer on, you can also eat there (we didn't) It has a very English working mens club feel about it.
The toilets seemed quite far from the tent field. You had to put a code in to enter. They were quite clean, maybe a bit old fashioned.
One of the families staying near our tent in a static caravan were pretty depressing, the mother shouted at her children the whole time. Most of the other people staying at the site seemed like older couples.
Overall it was fine. We usually camp in Holland where there's a lot more privacy eg hedges and trees making smaller areas, here we were in the middle of a big field with statics all round the field facing us. It was a bit open, and not very pretty.

A decent site situated close to the centre of Morecambe which aside from the excellent Happy Mount Park is a pretty sorry sight these days.
The site itself is well laid out, level and quite attractive despite the huge old gas tank and the neighbouring estate that reminded me of Shameless.
The pool is okay, but a little deep for our kids and could maybe benefit from having someone around to supervise it.
There's a nice little playground and a bar next to it from where we could enjoy a pint whilst keeping an eye on the kids. They popped in to see the act - a female club singer / comedienne, but we had to leave half way through her set as her jokes were a little blue for the kids. This wasn't a problem as we had been warned and it was getting near to their bedtime!
All the staff seemed quite friendly and the site shop was very well stocked.

We had a great time at this site, the 2 play grounds were a bonus for the kids and the swimming pool just topped it off. The pool is perfectly adequate and provides great fun for kids, despite some previous cynical comments. Be aware though, there's no shallow end and the depth is 1. 2 mts so if you have small kids / non-swimmers like us you need to be in the water with them.
There are no panoramic views but the site is pleasant enough and feels friendly and safe. The bar wasn't our cup of tea (social club type atmosphere and entertainment and very characterless) but we were happy to share a vino in the van instead. The nice layout of the pathways and site in general made it a very safe place for kids to ride bikes and play.
The facilities were good - all that you'd expect from a decent campsite. It's at the scruffy end of Morecambe but a fantastic park and sandy beach are only a few minutes drive away. It's a great base to explore the local area, we'd certainly return.
