Been on this site 3 times now, our family live in Morecambe and its a nice site to stay on.
It has a little friendly clubhouse on site and a play area for the kids.
We asked if we could stay on till 4.00 o'clock because we didn't want to rush off and there was no problem with the site, and no extra charge!
The shower blocks are ok, not magnificent but ok, hot water and in one of them a bath which I took my grandchildren in and they loved it.
Overall relaxing site enjoyable stay.

Booked for the bank holiday with a non refundable deposit.
On approaching the site, the surrounding area, I would not even leave my dog in.
Was told the swimming pool was new, however it was just like a big square bath.
The site looks like one big field where you just get dumped.
There was no way we could have stayed their and felt happy or safe - if you have booked BEWARE!
You would be better off loosing the deposit and booking into another site!

My husband and 2 children aged 3 and 9 set off on the Friday to venture caravan park, it was easy to find. We arrived approx 3pm and were all set up half an hour later. The staff were very friendly when we arrived and this made a great start to the weekend. The toilets and showers were very clean and not too far from the tent. The club house was great but get in early to get a seat. They serve food in here at night which is very reasonable priced and drinks are not too expensive The parks for the kids were great even my three year old had a fantastic time. There were not many tents on when we went this was good because the kids had lots of room to run round. The people who have caravans on there are very friendly just a shame there was a family with 4 young boys who made alot of noise on sunday morning, who woke everyone up at 6.30. We had to be up early to get back so we didnt mind too much.

For the price I payed for the bank holiday, it was fantastic. Park was good, but pool was just a large bath! Stayed near the toilets, all clean plus noise was to a minimum. Don't worry the gas tower, it really don't worry us as we go out. Overall a good site use. Would use again.

A lovely clean site which on first impressions may seem a little bit worrying as the area surrounding is not wonderful and there are a few caravans displaying signs saying that no valuables are left in the caravan. The swimming pool is ok for children although not the toddlers as they can't stand up but my older daughter loved it. The play areas are wonderful and good for all ages.
The toilets and showers are spotless some of the best I have ever seen especially as we vistited over Easter and I feel it is overall a really lovely site with good facilities and some great places to visit.

This site is a lovely friendly site that has two play areas and a nice clean club where the children are most welcome till all hours. There is a room of the main club room that has games and a pool table to amuse the kids there is also a play area right outside the club so you could have a drink while the kids play great stuff. And yes there is a gas job not that we noticed it much.and a small pool that we all enjoyed. my kids 5,9,and11 loved it and we will be going back it is clean friendly and showers were free and very clean and very quite .

Stayed there for the weekend, I have been before about in 1999 or 1991, it has not changed, it was spotlessly clean really friendly and very quiet even though there is a small housing estate in front of it, there are a lot of regulars there but they are very welcoming, a safe site for children, with 2 out side play areas and a club with games room for older kids, the pool is basic and small but again spotless and the showers are the best i have seen, a great idea. You are comfortable able to walk into Morcambe in 15 minutes for an adult, ny 3 year old did it and again it is safe and pleasant as it is off the road, we will be going back.

Arrived at the site without a booking and was warmly welcomed. Site was half full so I had a pick of a decent pitch. Site was clean and although a family site it was quite. Left the car on site and had a nice stroll in to Morecambe as their is a path next to the campsite that takes you straight their with out the worry of traffic, so I could let the youngsters of the lead so to speak. The camp accepts dogs which we were pleased about. The toilets were clean and unusual which was great , as you had your own private bath or shower and sink with your toilet, so you can have a s. shower and shave with out being disturbed. And yes you do have a big gas works next to the camp, but you do not notice that after your first day. Overall a friendly ,clean and safe campsite.

Just back from this site. Nicely laid out, basic showers and toilets. Advertised as having an indoor heated swimming pool which is in fact a large tub under a pvc enclosure and not big enough for adults, but the kids enjoyed it. The games room is an old caravan with a few fruit machines in it and a boarded up broken window! The gasometer that overlooks the site didn't bother us, however, the population of the council estate next door did. The deafening music started at 9am and by the afternoon we were so sick of it that we complained to the staff. By 3pm we'd phoned the police and the environmental health, complained again at reception and received a full refund! This despite the fact that a static caravan owner warned us that they had complained once and had their car windscreen smashed! We never saw a warden on site and had to listen to shouting and foul language at 2am before one the people involved tore round the campsite at great speed. Nice just the place for a holiday with young children.not!

On first impressions it was very good, very clean and the toilets were lovely. What we didn't know was that we were put on the play area which gave all the other guests "a given right to play football, cricket and whatever else they wanted to outside our tent". This resulted in us having a broken pole from the football and a lot of abuse when we complained and asked them to move away - we were told we were on their play area! When I complained and asked for the warden to intervene - he didn't appear. Such a shame as the site was nice although the other tent area seemed very cramped. Don't think we will return here again! Seems they only want tourers there and no tents.
