Just visited this site at the Spring Bank Holiday, booked at the last minute, the pitch would have been hard to get to for other Caravanners, as our neighbour said he had problems, we do not have a motor mover, but found it very easy for us as the OH is a HGV driver, but all pitches are very level and easy to get to.
We had a wonderful time, every thing was clean and tidy, well that is an understatement, the bins were cleared daily even as this was a Bank Holiday, we have been to sites like this in a quiet time and they have not cleared as well as this place.
We did not manage to get there on the Friday for the Bingo and entertainment, as we arrived on the Saturday afternoon, which was a football final, we found the staff the most friendliest ever(having been in this trade). The entertainment was good and my OH who loves his Bingo enjoyed the Irish Bingo on the Saturday.
The Elsan disposal was excellent, as were the toilet block and showers.
Sunday night entertainment was wonderful, Ivy League Robert Young sang and Janice Yorke did her wonderful comedy act and sang and the staff were 100% as they knew our drinks from the previous night to offer to us. This is how I used to have staff, which is rare to find. Plus the Irish Bingo again.
We shall be going again, as this has been the best site in the Yorkshire/Lancashire area we have been too, on the larger scale.
The only comment I would give would be to give a map of the site on arrival, but it was easy to find your way around, we did have a drive round.
Also there was no extra charge for being a Bank Holiday, I had to ring back to confirm the price.

Just got back from a sunny October w/end here
Not a bad site toilets clean. Nice little shop. Staff all helpful and friendly. Pitches neat and tidy even for october
If you walk into morecambe down the main road it is thru the outskirts and is a bit run down but there is a cycleway system that runs down the side of the site that is s great walk into town
Other reviewers have complained about the size of the fun pool which never pretends to be anything else and the now disused and empty gasometer that is mostly shrouded by trees
Adequate little club and very friendly
Not a lot for kids on site but it's not a haven
Would definitely return if touring the area

What a lovely site. The previous reviews mention the gasometer at the entrance but it took me to my third day to spot it. The staff are really friendly and ever so helpful. The site is kept lovely and clean.
There is a small shop on site stocked with all the basics at reasonable prices. There are several toilet blocks. We went on the bank holiday weekend and none of us ever had to queue once and the site was packed. They were always clean as well.
There is a lovely little play area for the kids and a football field, complete with goals. There is a small arcade machine area and a swimming pool which looked lovely.
We didn't use the bar on site at all, this was purely personal preference so can't comment on it.
All in all a very lovely site, we will be going back at October half term. Would highly recommend it.

We arrived early evening, and would have left if up to me. The site seemed noisy and rough. The surrounding area is also rather drab and rundown. Morecambe at night is not a pretty sight either. All that said we saw things in a much more favourable light during the day.
Toilet blocks are clean, and the large shower/bathrooms with sink and toilet are excellent when washing with small children. The pool is small. But ideal for children 1.2m deep. We went at 10am each day and it was quiet. The park did attract teenagers who seemed to come from the surrounding area rather than the campsite. We were right next to the huge gas tank but didn't bother us.
We went over to the bar one evening but it was packed and no available seating, so left. There was a little noise at night, but we were by reception away from the bar so not too bad. The games room is just a caravan with machines in which attracted loads of teenagers so a bit of a no go area. Morecambe itself is rundown, but the beach is clean and the grandchildren were happy. Also some very nice playgrounds all along the front. We stayed til early evening but had to pay for an extra night unlike other reviewers which seems unfair.
Would we visit again/recommend it? Not sure really pros: it is certainly very convenient for seaside as only 20 min walk into Morecambe. Go along the cyclepath, much prettier than along the main road.
Cons: rundown surrounding area and Morecambe itself. Not very good value for money.

Not very busy and plenty of space around my van. Kids loved the play area and staff where friendly.
Would definitely stay again as the location is good.
They opened the pool for us twice and we had full use of it to ourselves.
Never tried the pub as I've two small children.
Lidl very close by for essentials and a Co-op.
Morecambe and Lancaster both nearby with plenty to do, for kids and old alike.
Good market in Morecambe on a Sunday.

Did a 4 day stay at this site, easy access, could do with an electric barrier on entrance just to beef up security of the site. Pitch where you want so free to choose, ugly big gas tank near entrance bit of an eyesore and gave the wife the creeps. Hard standings were wide enough for van only, car needed to go on grass which was constantly being cut by some fella on site keeping it nice and short. We had torrential downpours so I parked at reception to save sinking. Wwimming pool makes you smile on the way in for sheer size, only 15ftx35ft but very clean, only me and my son in there on 2 occasions so we were made up. 2 mins from sea front, 5 mins from morrisons also on sea front. Paid £20.00 a night to pitch .Toilets on a key code and decent enough, all together a nice break.

Went to this caravan park being a little concerned about some of the reviews about the surrounding area, but on the site we got a very friendly welcome from the management. The regulars on site made us very welcome and the site was well laid out with flower borders.Nice club on site with bingo on friday and a singer on saturday.Toilet facilities were excellent.
The area outside the park is very built up,but the fact that you can walk in to morecambe makes up for that or if you drive in to town it just a matter of minutes. One day we drove up to the lake district had a lovely day out in bowness - on - windermere. We will we be visiting this site again in the near future mainly because of the friendly atmosphere on the site.

Really enjoyed my stay 4th time back and will go again, glad to see they have changed the pool to a real one. The kids loved the play area and play room didn't see them all night.
Very friendly staff couldn't do enough to help.
Well recommended. Have stayed in a tent here too which I also couldn't fault. The food was served and cooked well the bar staff were very efficient and welcoming. Would seriously consider buying a static on this site.

Enjoyed our stay here over Easter. The toilets and showers were clean. We were close to the bar and play area which we thought would be great as could see kids playing this however was a bad move at night due to the kids running round and people coming to and from the bar. However camping is not about peace and quiet unless your in a field in middle of nowhere you should expect noise and banter on a site with club facilities. Enjoyed our stay and prob would go again though we are planning on testing lots of different sites first. Fees were ok and the showers were free. Short walk to beach but the estate surrounding was a little scary.

Lovely site, once on the site staff were really friendly and welcoming. Wasn't a lot going on due to it being February, however we still had a nice time. On approaching the site it does look slightly unsightly however looks can be very deceiving. Morcambe sea front is only about 10 minutes walk local shops and amminities were all very local, on the campsite the clubhouse was open although we didn't visit it. The park was fine for our 4 year old to go and play on would reccommend and revisist the site again.
