Just returned from a wonderful two weeks camping at the Wayfarers site. The new owners are very helpful and run an extremely well organised and spotlessly clean site.
Nothing seems to be too much trouble, even 'blitzing' a can of tomatoes when there was no passata in the shop.
Within an easy drive to most attractions and the food at the Falmouth Packet was wonderful, 5 min drive away well worth a visit.
Will definitely return here when we next visit Cornwall.
Good luck with your new venture
Steve and Lesley.

A well maintained and peaceful site located close to Penzance. Grass pitches for tents but potential visitors should be aware that these are mostly under trees - liked by some but generally a bad idea.
We chose this site specifically because it is Adults Only and it is, as a consequence, very tranquil and you don't get woken up early by other peoples children.
The toilet and shower facilities are good and cleaned regularly but you may need to queue at busy times.
There are two pubs about 1 mile down and at least one serves food (didn't try the other). Better food can be had a little further away at The Falmouth Packet.
Some of the notices posted around the place might be worded a bit harshly and may come across as aggressive eg. 'EXCUSE ME' written in very large lettering above a request. I hope that the owners will consider revising some of the notices.

Our fourth visit to the wonderful Wayfarers which is situated in a lovely part of Cornwall, convenient for excursions to many places of interest. The owners of this adult only, dog free, caravan park are very helpful and the facilities are extremely well kept. The pitches are well spaced and look onto an open green area. It's a brilliant place to relax and pubs and shops are within easy reach.

Visited Wayfarers July/August for two weeks, what can I say about this wonderful site, Adults only, dog free, makes this site very quite, its also like being in a tropical setting with landscaped setting, pitches are large enough for your Caravan and awning with the car being parked away from the vans but always in view, Owners very helpful, Toilets/showers always clean and tidy, short walk to the village for basic things, also local pubs to chose from, numerous places to visit, Penzance, Marazion only a few miles away, numerous Beaches not to far away, will be visiting this site again

So, we visited here for three nights. The site was spotless, the owners friendly. Everything was well thought out, clean, neat. I cannot fault them or the site.
It was beyond peaceful, the other people friendly.
Local pubs are good, crown especially. Mostly we got takeout booze and enjoyed the tent. My only slight gripe was we would have preferred to choose a different pitch from an empty site. But were told they were all taken.

Have just returned from 4 glorious days at this campsite. We were, luckily, blessed with beautiful weather too. The owners are lovely, really helpful and friendly. The site is meticulously clean and tidy. The shower block and toilets are perfect, with a small hairdryer in the Ladies (20p that lasts forever!). The campsite was very quiet which was an absolute blessing. No children, no dogs. Just the sounds of nature. Will definitely be returning here, sooner rather than later hopefully. Highly recommend that you stay here if you want peace and tranquillity. Such beautiful surroundings too. Simply marvellous !

Just got back from our third stay here. This really is the best campsite in the uk that we have found.
The camping field is superb, with a large central area with gazebos and picnic tables etc, plus a new brick built barby.
As other reviewers have said the toilet the shower facilities are always spotless and the gardens, flowers, herbs etc are always well kept.
Elaine and Steve are both very welcoming and friendly and work really hard to maintain all aspects of the site.
We will be going back again, and again.

We stayed at Wayfarers in August through to September. And I would like to thank Elaine and Steve for wonderful visit. The site is like setting up in someone's garden it is so clean and peaceful. The site is kept immaculate by the owner's hard work.
The toilets and showers are not the newest but are kept immaculately clean with fresh flower inside and out well that is the ladies anyway. They have a small shop the emergency items.
And there is a fairly local chippy about 1 miles away and a small shop on the village that seems to have everything.
I and my partner were sorry to leave back to the hustle and bustle of modern life.
We will be going back to Wayfarers again in the future
Thank you for our stay

We have just come back after staying for 4 nights at this lovely well kept site. Elaine the site owner is fantastic she keeps you up to date with the weather every day. The toilets are kept clean at all times, there was a hairdryer in the ladies toilets for use, there is also washing up area and washing machines for use if needed. There is a site shop.
Even through the site was nearly full there was plenty of room, no waiting for showers or use of toilets.
The site is a good base for touring the area, such as St Michael's Mount, Penzance and St Ives. It is about forty minutes away from Lands End all worth a visit.
We would definitely return to this site at some point
I would give this site 10/10 for everything.

This is a lovely, peaceful site. Wayfarers has excellent facilities, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and it is in a very convenient location for touring around South West Cornwall.
There is no charge for shower use and the normal charges for the use of the washing/drying machines apply. Ice pack refreezing is free and there are small charges for recharging leisure battery packs/mobile phones.
The friendly owners couldn't do enough to help. Outside the Site, the two local pubs in Goldisthney (just over a mile away) are a hoot! Both serve 'real beers' and one has 'early evening' food offers EG 2 x main courses - £12. There is also a 'gastro pub' at the end of the Prussia Cove road that begins across from the Site's entrance (Falmouth Steam Packet).
Being on an 'Adults Only' site was new to us and the lack of 'children being children' took a little while to get used to; however, we enjoyed the peace and quiet especially after 10pm and the relative peaceful, late 'lie-ins' in the morning!
We used our bikes a great deal though there seemed to be plenty of parking at reasonable rates in most places we visited (but don't take your car too near Mouseshole!
The locals told us to park in the laybys just after Newley and to walk or cycle into town which was good advice!
Also, try to see a performance at the spectacular Minack Theatre - a stunning location! We were able to comfortably tour around using car/bikes along the coast from Padstow to Falmouth and visit a host of wonderful places in between: as a base to achieve this Wayfarers is to be highly recommended.
