Me and John thought this site was really really nice, and so clean amd tidy.
Elaine and Steve couldn't do enough for you, Elaine came round to let us know that it might get really windy in the night, how good was that!.
When anyone left Elaine and Steve came to inspect that the pitch was cleared and tiday, ready for the next tourer.
Nice little shop for the needed food etc.
The toilets and showers where the nicest I have ever seen on a campsite, (plus no extra charge like some do).
Easy to fine and get into the entrance, which we sometimes worry about, as some only have a tight entrance.
The best bit is being Adult only site was great, (we have grandchildren so its not that we don't like kids), but also not looking around when driving in and out to make sure we don't run over a bike or ball lol.
Also another really good thing is how close it is to one side to the other coast, so many different beaches near around, and lots to do.
Lots of supermarkets nearby, so you don't have to go miles out your way to get to them.
Will recommend this site five stars *****

This was our first visit to an adults only campsite, and I can assure you it will be the only way forward for us.
What a great site, with two owners who obviously care very deeply about their visitors, and giving them the best holiday they can. The site was so well tended that I felt I was camping in someone's back garden.
The facilities are all there, and in perfectly good order. Elaine checks everything several times a day, and Steves attention to the grounds is obvious - a great deal of hard work went on here.
We were down in a very windy period, but the site was well sheltered, and we didn't have any problems. Their was virtually no road noise, only a little occasional daytime traffic, but nothing to disturb you.
Elaine was very concerned for everyone, and kept us updated regarding the forecasts - ok we had to stay another night, but we got home safely.
Can't recommend this site highly enough, and for all the excellent recommendations of where to eat or drink. The Castle pub in the village was simple, but great value and great fun.
St Michaels Mount speaks for itself, and sites location allowed us to get to many interesting places very quickly.
Site is also not that far from the main A30 via a short B road, so speed of access is great.
Thanks for a great holiday

We stayed a week at Wayfarers in a tent with EHU.
I can't praise this site enough.
We expect peace and quiet at adult only sites and Wayfarers didn't disappoint at all. It was like someone had pressed the mute button. Total peace and quiet apart from the bird song.
The site is immaculate and the owners work very hard to keep it this way.
I'd say the toilet and shower blocks are small but I never had to wait for a shower, though did have to wait a couple of times to doing washing up. There's only 2 sinks but it's hardly a catastrophe not being able to wash up straight away.
The area is fantastic. Penzance was great. A busy bustling town.
St. Ives, a small typical seaside resort.
Prussia Cove is worth a mention.
It's about a mile away from the site. So picturesque. Exactly where you'd expect smugglers to have worked in days gone by. We felt as though we'd found somewhere away from the usual tourist places. From here you can do the coastal walk. Definitely not for those without stamina and good mobility but worth the effort as the views are fantastic.
Will definitely go back to this site at some point.
A lot of campers book their next trip before they leave.

Stayed here for a week in June, fantastic site, spotlessly clean grounds and facilities, the Gents include 2 free showers, three toilets, four urinals and four sinks with mirrors, there is also two shaver points and I never had to queue for anything.
The site has room for about 20 tourers and then a camping field some of the pitches with EHU, the field is divided by hedging and each section contains two large pitches, all tents are pitched on the perimeter so that the centre of the field is kept clear, there is also a little dishwashing building with two sinks.
There is a shop on site open between 9 - 6 it does close for dinner, it stocks all the essentials and a freezer where you can freeze your freezer packs free of charge.
The site acts as a great base for exploring that area of Cornwall, there is a bus stop 100 yards from the camp for a bus into Penzance, or walk 20 minutes into Goldsithney where you can catch additional buses, and on the way back call into one of the two pubs in the village.

We found this a superb campsite, with immaculately clean toilet, shower and washing up facilities which are a credit to the owners, Elaine and Steve. The ladies showers have a hair dryer with 20p charge per use - 20p buys adequate time to dry shoulder length thick hair!
The pitch was near level and the grass was short and clippings removed. We were allocated a nice sunny corner and the pitches were very well spaced out.
If it's a quiet holiday you require, this is the one for you!
Lots to see and do in the local area. Pub and village about a mile's walk. Pubs both serving superb, local, St Austell Brewery Ales.
We would definitely go back, and suggest you give it a try.
Steve and Elaine were superb, helpful hosts - they were on-hand whenever they were needed, but also left the campers to their own devices.
This provided us with a superb, restful holiday!

Spent a lovely 2 weeks at this site.
Elaine and Steve gave us a very friendly welcome and were great. The site is very well looked after and the pitches were spacious and sheltered. The facilities were immaculate, cleanest we've ever seen at a campsite and despite camping there in high season neither myself or my wife had to queue for the loo or a shower at any time! Showers were always hot with good water pressure.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere at the site meant we had a thoroughly chilled holiday. This is not the site for you if you want noise, bustle and parties each night!
Location of site is good with plenty of good beaches nearby, Cornish gardens, fishing villages etc. The next village with 2 good pubs serving good food are 20 minutes walk away.
Overall our favourite campsite in Cornwall, we'll definitely go back.

Just returned from a week stay at wayfarers. All the other reviewers have it right. It is immaculate and very very quiet. The location is good for touring in the area.
Overall positives-friendliness of owners, cleanliness, location (close to St Michaels mount and many other interesting places), lack of overcrowding at all (loads of space), free showers and freezing facility for cool bags.
Negatives- too quiet, no central area to socialise, distance to nearest pub, lack of internet connectivity.
This campsite is great if you want a lovely get away from it all holiday.

My wife and I have just returned from staying at the Wayfarers campsite and I must say it was one of the best campsites we have stayed on. Elaine and Steve gave us a friendly welcome. The site is well set out with well spaced pitches for all units.
Typical cornish hedges around the outside make it nice and sheltered. The toilet & shower block were lovely and well looked after with lovely hot showers all the time.
Marazion only 10 mins away is a beautiful market town with lovely views of St Michaels Mount which a visit is a must.So much to do just ran out of time so looking forward to returning next year.

We came to wayfarers on our mini-moon after recently being married. We got a lovely welcome when we arrived. The campsite is a lovely, small and friendly campsite.
Many of our fellow campers have been returning to this campsite for many years and despite the majority of them being much older than us we were made to feel very welcome by everyone.
The toilets and showers were very clean. Wish I'd figured out earlier in the week that you needed tokens to use the hairdryer! The campsite is in a lovely location with a 20 min walk to the nearest pub, which sold good pub food in Godsithney.
Great location to explore the bottom part of cornwall with lands end only a 20min drive away. We would definitely come again.
Only minor negative point about the campsite is that the shop is open at funny times-doesn't open till 9:30am and is shut by 6:30pm so no good when you're going out all day and you need to swap round freezer packs.

Just spent 2 weeks at this site. The facilities are second to none that we have encountered since returning to camping. Spotless site,Elaine and Steve work very hard to keep it this way.
Small shop on site for essentials. The village is approx 1 mile away with a grocery store for newspapers and milk etc and there are 2 pubs which serve very good food. Morrisons and Tesco supermarkets are about 4-5 miles away.
This is a country site so the use of a car is a high priority but saying that the service bus runs several times a day from just outside the site to Marazion and Penzance. There is hot water for washing up and showers at all times during the day and subdued lighting during the night. If it's a peaceful and restful holiday you are looking for then this is the place. We will be looking at this site again for next year. It's very easy driving down the A30 from Exeter to Penzance too.
