Excellent site located 1 mile from the nearest village, Goldsithney. The landscaped grounds and facilities are meticulously maintained by the helpful and friendly owners. The spotless facilities include 3 "stones", 3 "traps", 2 showers and I think 4 sinks as well as electric shaving points in the gents. I don't know about the ladies as I didn't go in but I think it is similar to the gents ( without the stones :-) A well covered area is provided for dishwashing with 2 sinks and hot water. Also, there is a well equiped laundry room, ( I didn't go in these either! ) The site is split into 2 sections, 1 being all caravans and motorhomes and the other was mainly occupied by caravans with about half a dozen tents. The average age of the caravaners was about 60, and those of us in tents a bit younger. As the advert suggests, this site is all about quiet and relaxation. If that is what you are looking for, look no further.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6-night stay here. Elaine was very nice and accommodated us when we wished to increase our stay. The site is very quiet, tranquil and relaxing with great facilities (clean and well maintained) - it was exactly what we were looking for. There are no pubs in the village but there are two in the next village about a mile away. The surrounding area is beautiful but the traffic can be overwhelming during the holiday season. We'll definitely be back.

Spent 4 nights at this site and enjoyed every minute there Elaine and Steve run a very tidy, very clean, very quiet well manicured site. The location is ideal for touring the West end of Cornwall and as a Tranquil site it certainly works well. I will be looking forward to returning in the future.

Stayed 10 days here and absolutely loved it.Site was the cleanest we have ever stayed on toilets and showers spotless and grounds beautiful even late in September. Ideally situated for exploring the Cornish coastline Steve and Elaine have a very good information Room containing plenty of leaflets and ideas for all tastes.A small camp site shop carries a few basics and the use of the freezer for your ice blocks is a very welcome feature.
Plenty of good pubs and places to eat nearby we also found the 24 hour Tesco’s at nearby Penzance a great place to grab those essentials from especially out of normal hours. Im sure you will enjoy any stay here and we will definitely be returning ,such a delight to see a star filled sky scene with no invasive street lights and listen to the Owls untill you drop off for a peaceful nights sleep

July 2004 My husband and I recently enjoyed a wonderful two weeks at Wayfarers. Most sites are never as good as they appear in the brochures - however the same cannot be said of this site, tucked away on a quiet road 6 miles from Penzance. Although, the weather was often changable, the temperature stayed constant and you did not experience the sudden drop in temperature in the middle of the night. Elaine and Steve, the owners, have a beautifully landscaped site which they tend themselves. The added bonus for us was that it was adult only. This meant we were able to holiday during the school vacation period without the noise kids naturally generate. We will definately be returning! I cannot recommend it highly enough.

6th - 11th August We have just returned from the wonderful adults only Wayfarers campsite in Cornwall.
We were greeted by Elaine and were shown around the facilites. Nice big and clean showers/toilets and small onsite shop. They also freeze your ice packs for free, which was really needed in the heat!
The site itself has large pitches, the tent area goes round in a square and there are no tents pitched right in front of you, just around the edges, which means you get a nice view of the site. Theres even a little gazebo in the centre of the green. All in all a wonderful stay, even though the hottest day of the year was only 19 degrees and raining in cornwall :-(! I would thoroughly recommend this site and intend going again sometime.

We stayed at Wayfarers recently and what a beautiful little gem it was. We had a really relaxing holiday and we intend to return in September as I believe the owners told us it runs as 'child free' for the month. Very good and really worth a try if you want total relaxation and no noise
