We stayed here at the end of August and it was by far the best campsite we've ever been to.
The owners are so friendly and helpful, the site is immaculate, as is the showers and toilets and the grounds in general, just lovely, with little places to sit and eat out. Lots of pretty flowers.
There is good privacy and gaps between tents, it's peaceful, quiet and not over crowded at all even in peak season. Level pitches.
They have a little shop where you can get everything.
The laundry is nice too, but we didn't use it.
Well positioned for this area of Cornwall and we had a fantastic time and will definitely return.

Just spent 10 nights at Wayfarers, July & August.
The site was extremely well maintained, toilets and facilities spotless, (Our main attraction to adults only sites) and we found Elaine and Steve to be most helpful and friendly.
Due to the high volume of rain before and during our stay, (and we're talking biblical) we were asked not to park next to our caravan in order to preserve the grass. Whilst we found this a little tiresome, - i.E. Wet feet before you get to the car - we can understand the reasons for this. Nobody wants to spend their holiday in a mudbath! Free access to the little herb garden for cooking was a nice touch!
As mentioned by others, nothing within walking distance, couple of pub restaurants in Goldsithney, a very long (and hazardous) 1 mile walk at night.
Great site though, but mainly as a base for touring. We would definitely return, maybe even next season, as there is so much to see and do in that part of the South West that we have not done since we were here with our children several years ago.

Have just got back for a weeks stay in this lovely site, the place is a real credit to the owners and worth every penny spent ( which really is not a lot for what you get ! ) The grounds are very well maintained and kept to a very high standard with pitches nicely spread out! The shower and toilet blocks are always clean and tidy and there is no end of hot water in the showers at any time of the day ( a plus being they are real showers and not the push button types that you get at many sites). The camp shop is small but well stocked, they even had a selection of gas bottles in stock ( very very handy seeing as mine run out half way into making breakfast ! ) All in all a must camp site if you want quiet / clean / friendly and would go back tomorrow if not for work !

Spent a wet and windy 4 nights here in July.
The campsite was just what we were looking for.
Well laid out with pitches laid to the edges of the field leaving the centre an attractive open space.
The pitches are well protected by trees and shrubs and all the pitches were on level ground.
The shower block was clean and well cared for and when we were there, there was no need to queue at any time. The washing up area was covered in and kept clean (except for the odd camper who didn't rinse the soapsuds out after use).
The owners were very friendly and most helpful at all times.
We enjoyed our stay so much we booked another week there for next year before we left.

We have only been caravanning for 5 years getting away 10 times a year. So my comments are only judged on about 50 sites all of which I found to be good to very good (mostly club sites) but this one is by far the best one I have used.
Owners very helpful and friendly
Location ideal for site seeing our just to relax
Site showers and toilets excellent grounds and pitches kept very neat and tidy.
Two good local pubs serving good food, and best of all NO PARENTS unable to control there children

Spent five nights camping with electric hook up, which to us is a must. The site is spotless. With the shower block as good as most 4star hotels. As a first timer to an adult only site , we thought there was a distinct lack of 'camping atmosphere' why I don't know. The only down side for us, there was no where to go within walking distance on the night. If the site was half a mile or so from the coast it would be ideal.

Just got back from 10 days at this wonderful site.
Can't really add much to what has already been said.
It is a very peaceful and quiet site.
The toilets and shower are cleaned every day to a very high standard. The site can easily accomodate 50% more tents and caravans but they leave a good space in between units so that everyone has their privacy.
Everyone (not sure about tents) had 16amp hookup and the waste and water were close by.
The grounds are landscaped very tastefully but with ease of mainainance in mind.
Great location to explore the Cornish countryside and if we go back to Cornwall we will definitely be visiting this site again.
Thanks very much to Steve & Elaine for a great site. It is a credit to you both.

This was a fantastic site, really quiet and well maintained. The toilet and shower block were kept immaculately clean and there was always hot water for showers and washing up, and you rarely had to queue for a shower. The field where the tents are is large with two gazebos in the middle and no one pitches in front of your tent so you have plenty of space and a decent view. It's free to freeze your freezer blocks and you can get a highly accurate weather forecast from Elaine whenever you go in the shop. There are two pubs in Goldsithney about a mile down the road - it took us about 20 minutes to walk there, but you do need to remember to take a torch as there are no street lights on the walk back. The food was very reasonably prices and we really enjoyed the local fish. We will definitely go back.

What can I say but one of the best camp sites we've ever been to. My wife is very picky about camp site's i.E how far is it to the loo in the middle of the night, how clean will they be etc. And if I get it wrong she won't go camping again! However I got it bang on with this site very clean wash rooms and a very short walk to the loo. Its a very good size camping area and with ease could get 3 times the amount of tents and cars on it than they allow, and I know why they don't it's not to spoil one of Cornwall's best campsites. It's a very quite site no main road near by, But easy to get to, no kids running around making lots of noise so you get a great nights sleep. The only things we would change about the site is to place a plug point for ladies to use their hair strainer's and make the end of the showers move up and down more easily that's it, Now we know that might be picky but that's to show how great the site is. The couple who were next to us had been back to the site 4 times which speaks for it's self. So all in all a very friendly, peaceful and well kept site which my wife and I will return.
