Location is absolutely fabulous.
A small site with good facilities, clean and well maintained.
Such a shame it’s going to disappear at the end of March.

It's a sad day, as we have left Baltic Wharf for the last time, as I understand it closes at the end of Dec 2022.
It's got the best location for a City break we have been to, with pubs restaurants, places to see and shops all within a reasonable walking distance.
I really hope the CMC club find another location in Bristol

Fantastic site,
So convenient for visiting our daughter who lives in the city.
Right next to the river.
Beautifully clean.
What a shame it will be closing :(

Travelled from Scotland to this gem of a site. Location is just amazing, you open the gate and you are on the canalside.
We cycled from the site to Bath along the old railway then cycled out to Clevedon along cycle paths and quiet back roads another day and into Nailsea along the 33 cycle route another day and still plenty more routes to do but we ran out of time.
Took a walk to Clifton and over the suspension bridge and a wander round the mansions and over the downs. There is a small convenience store a few minutes walk away and an Aldi and co-op about 15-20 minutes walk away.
There is a pub literally next door and numerous bars and restaurants as you walk along the canal. Facilities on site spotless and warden very helpful.
Just such a shame the council have decided to take the land back for housebuilding and it will be closing ☹️

How wrong can one be?
My previous post, (see below) was expected to be my last from Baltic Wharf, but thanks to continuing lease extensions. We've been back!
Yes, four more nights at this gem of a site in the heart of Bristol.
Having had a timely reminder, I even managed to get booked in to coincide with the Balloon Fiesta, though the extreme temperatures caused a few problems for that.
The evening flights were cancelled (lack of wind) as were the firework displays (risk of fire in the parched conditions).
However, we managed to "chill out" in the scorching weather by finding shade under the trees and sitting outside the site on the harbourside, watching the world go by.
I'm not sure if it's down to the current wardens, but if anything the facilities block seemed cleaner than ever, so top marks to them.
I've heard that the lease has been extended once more (to the end of December '22) but the only downside is that the clean-air zone encompasses the site and comes into force in November.
If you've not been before, grab a chance while you can.

Well, no doubt this will be our last ever review of this fantastic site, as it appears it finally closes in April and we had our friendliest ever greeting.
We arrived the day after Storm Franklin and had the tail end of it, with torrential rain.
However, the site soon drained and we met up with family for a visit to Bristol Aquarium, which, despite being rammed full of kids during half-term holiday, was a real joy.
Another wet morning saw us stay in doing puzzles before strolling up to Clifton for drinks in our favourite cafe, before wandering around the posh area gawping at expensive houses.
On our last full day, we cycled out towards Nailsea, then climbed Backstone Hill. Rode past the airport and continued to Chew Magna, before returning to Bristol on the Route 3 cycle path.
We've thoroughly enjoyed all our visits to this wonderfully located site and will surely miss it.

Our second visit of the year and probably our fourth or fifth "last chance" before site closure.
I was quite surprised to see a few empty pitches, as we've never seen the site less than completely full.
After setting up, we completed our usual loop walk around the harbourside and visited the photo exhibition in the Arnolfini before emerging to a glorious sunset over the water. It was lovely to see so many families enjoying the winter fai.
We managed another lovely bike ride out towards Nailsea and then skirted Clevedon and Portishead, returning on the Avon Cycleway.
We revisited out favourite cafe (Bar Chocolat) in Clifton a couple of times and bought a few presents in some of the small independent shops in the area.
This time we didn't eat out, choosing to buy fresh food at the Coop just over the river.
Happily, we've got another slot booked for the new year, thanks to yet another extension to the lease.

A truly useful site for visiting Bristol.
Go through a secret door and you are right on the harbourside, or go out the main gate and pick up a bus into the city.
The staff are very friendly and great sources of local info.
The facilities are spotless.
It will be a real shame when this site is closed for redevelopment by the Council.

Having been born and still having family in Bristol, have tried several times to get a booking at this site. Managed it for last November only to be thwarted due to lockdowns.
So was really looking forward to this visit. I'm not sure I can add much to the reviews of this site, safe to say the location is brilliant.
Being next to the floating harbour for walks, within walking distance of countless pubs and restaurants, so many sights to see and the MH does not have to move.
I doubt I will be able to get another booking here due to other commitments, just so glad I finally made it, well worth it!
