We booked for a 2 night stay having pitches 30 and 31, two family units in a Kalahari 10 and Zenobia 6 we had plenty of room and some to spare. Noise from motorway wasn't too much easily sank in to background noise.
TOILETS: despite other reviews stating otherwise we were very impressed with the facility's here all toilets were clean with toilet paper, no soap but we had our own, we didn't use the showers but on entry to the ladies earlier use indicated hot water. The only time we had a problem was down to a group of teenagers as the toilets were covered in wet toilet roll and the floor was very wet but no one to report this to until the next morning when the office opened.
PLAY AREA: Our children had fun in the play area but soon grew bored of it and were looking to take on some of the activities but were unable to as these activities did prove disappointing due to booking required felt that this greatly let the site down, for us all.
STAFF: All the staff were more than helpful with any enquiry and more than apologetic for the lack of being able to access the water activities.
Other than that we had a lovely two nights and had an enjoyable stay even played a game of (make your own rules) rounders with a group from the next pitch (29). (Tesco is a 10mile round trip by car) Good time had by all

We pitched our tent for a short wkd stay. The layout of the site is excellent giving loads of room between pitches and all situated off a winding road/path. Most pitches are also covered by trees which provides good shelter from any wind/rain. The site was pretty quiet when we stayed, mainly families. The odd groups of teens didn't make much racket. I had read a lot of negative reviews about toilet block but to be honest I have seen a lot worse. They were clean enough/functional (the £20 deposit for key fob to get into them was a bit unnecessary I think. The main downsides to this site were - 1)maintenance to pitches - the grass hadnt been cut in a long while, the pitch we were originally given had dog muck all around it so we moved. 2) the activity lake - apparently we had to book well in advance to spend an hour on our kayak in there and is only open at all for a short time during school holidays on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Same goes for the climbing wall, children's ropes etc etc. The only activity we had was walking the dogs around the huge field adjacent to the site. The village had a tesco express and a couple of pubs but other than this not much to do really. If you plan on camping here for the water park facilities just be aware of how limited these facilities are! oh one last good point for them, it was only £13. 50 for large pitch with electric!

We haven't visited this site for a couple of years, and now I remember why.
The entry road onto the campsite is extremely potholed and unkempt, despite assurances 2 years ago by the manager that it was being resurfaced that year, it obviously hasnt been, and is a nightmare to tow a caravan across.
Toilets (I'm told) are marginally better than they used to be.
When we arrived on site, the grass was already long on most of the pitches, I'm not talking about a couple of inches either, I mean 6 - 7 inches. We stopped there for 10 days, and at no time during our visit was a lawnmower seen.
Weekends see the onslaught of the 'party campers' big groups of people having very loud parties until all hours of the morning, and then leaving all of their rubbish strewn all over the place after they leave.
There is no warden on site after the water park shuts at around 6pm, and people are pretty much left to do as they please with no fear of any intervention by staff.
This could be a really nice place with a bit of investment and real site warden.

Stayed here for just one Saturday night mid August. Firstly I've got to say I liked the site overall. It is easy to get to, being just off the M18, you can hear it from the site but is not troubling at all. The site is absolutely flat and it is shielded from the wind by trees. The ground is also quite soft so no pegging problems. We had pitch number 30 and it was HUGE! Most of the other pitches seemed large as well. There are plenty of them with 10amp electric, as was ours. We encountered no behavioural problems either.
Only downside was? yes you guessed it the toilets! The day we arrived the mens urinal was blocked. Unbelievably, people kept using it so come the evening it began to overspill on to the floor. The whole toilets floor was under urine! The problem is that the staff go home at 5pm so there is no-one to deal with problems like these. It was swiftly dealt with next morning but 'bucket with lid' had to suffice Saturday night! Generally the block was just like a block of public toilets you would see in any town centre. It was fusty with no ventilation or open windows.
So to sum up, a nice site and great value at 13 quid WITH electric, we will go back but please Donny council, sort out the toilets.

Visited this park earlier this year, easy to get to, nice park, although its toilets and showers really let it down which has put me off visiting again in the future as my main concern when camping is the toilet and shower facilities. They weren't very clean at all, no toilet paper, no soap at the sinks, the block badly needs modernising and the shower was but a trickle, I managed but to shower the kids would have been a nightmare. If only they could do something about the toilets. On the other hand, apart from this it was a lovely park, a few noisy people but luckily they only stayed the one night. The kiddies park was great, the children spent many hours playing there. Pitch size was good. No trouble with pegs etc. Well spaced out pitches. If they ever refurbish the toilet block I will be the first to return but sadly until then I wont be returning.

This site is quite near home so convenient to take grandchildren on their first camp.
The water park is great with family kayak hire at very reasonable prices. A nice little play area also kept the kids amused.
The camping area is flat and sandy without stones, so very easy to pitch a tent. You are allocated a spot which is indicated by a numbered slab rather than pitch were you want. This has the advantage of keeping tents well spread out. It was busy whilst we were there but because of the system other campers weren't `in your face`.
The site is close to the motorway so don't expect a completely quiet night.
Local facilities are good with a small supermarket and pubs in the village of Hatfield only a short walk away.
The toilet block sadly lets it down. I imagine this site and waterpark are used by schools because toilet tissue was splattered all over the ceiling. There were no plugs in the sink and the push taps barely gave you any water before they stopped. I realise its difficult for the council, who own the site, to do much about this as they have to provide these sites for schools but it its not pleasant for everyone else. To be fair the toilet block was cleaned but could really do with upgrading which might reduce the problem.

We have used this site four times now and had a really good time.
The toilet and shower block are in fair condition
The park is a great bonus for family's it is child friendly
The lake is nice for people who want water sports
The pitches are large, clean and litter free
All round the site is great only one let down for us is that you have to leave by 11am on departure day which is far too early for us 2pm in the afternoon would be a lot better
Keep up the good work

Just back from a weekend at this camp, torrential rain Friday and Sunday, lovely Saturday. The camp is very nicely set out with big pitches and very clean and tidy. There is activities on the lake (didnt use). A great park for the young ones and plenty of space for them to play. The only bad point are the toilet /shower block, the showers in the gents were useless, just a bit of water dribbling out of the shower head, just about enough to wash you down. No plugs in any of the sinks, I think this is why it has caused a craze of people throwing wet toilet tissue onto the ceiling! Otherwise the toilets were clean enough. You have to leave a £20 deposit for the key.

Visited as part of the UKCS rally. Very disappointed when we got there. Despite ringing the site to tell them our arrival time would be around 6 pm there was no body around to get a loo key from. As they are locked we had to borrow a key each time we needed the loo, luckily we were with a rally but it could be very awkward if your alone and camping and don't have your own toilet facilities. The elsan point is awkward as it is a toilet base and you have to lift up your cartridge to empty. Despite the site running alongside the motorway there was little traffic noise. The pitch we were on was spacious but quite rutted. There is a small town close by where there are shops pubs etc. The toilets were cleaned daily but were quite basic and the amount of loo paper stuck to the roof was a disgrace. We had lots of problems with the EHU tripping out and as there was no warden on site we had to keep ringing for someone to come out and reset. It would worry me that there is no control of the site from 4.30 pm until 9.00 am the next morning unless you ring the helpline. The boating lake is well worth a try and is very well patrolled and well priced, make sure you book tho and take some old shorts tee shirt and trainers. We would use again for a weekend but only because of convenience and boating facilities.

Arrived on site for the Easter meet with UKCampsite.co.uk to find either no barrier or it has been stolen. We got ourselves booked in and found the site to be well laid out and using the 6 meter rule we then found our pitch which were not really that clear set up and got ready for a relaxing weekends camping. NOT. The electrics kept on tripping out different parts of the site and with NO warden on site we were forever calling out the warden to come and reset it and 2 main boxes not where you plugged in your ehu, what a pain and a palaver and when ours tripped it took him over 2hrs to correct and didn't really seem to know what to do. On Sunday night our fridge and battery charge switch would not reset at all and was looking into a very heavy bill for a new zig unit only to find on our return home that it wasn't our unit but had to be the ehu at Hatfield park. Paid £20 refundable deposit for a toilet and shower key to use while we where there to find toilet paper stuck to the ceiling, holes in doors, water on the floor, no plugs, 1 bar of soap, they were a complete disgrace and a cheek to allow anybody to park their rear end on any one of the toilets. Doncaster council you should be ashamed of yourselves. The dog bins had not been emptied on arrive and where over flowing when we left not bad considering they cleaned the toilet block every day. The site had a play park which all the kids enjoyed and a massive football field behind the site which was also good to walk your dogs on. Supermarket close by and also fish and chip shop too which where very nice.
