Pros - Amazing setting, clean site and service buildings.
Staff very friendly and helpful and pitches are huge, enough space for motorhome, awning and a car.
Cons - the speed people are driving around probably means I wouldn't come back. Honestly you would think you were on the high street.

Loved the site. Great dog walks. Toilets and showers good. Will definitely be back.
Although the on site shop was closed there was a little place that did burgers etc on site open 10am till 2pm.

Amazing camping in incredible scenery with everything what we needed.
Great facilities-toilets, hot showers, washing up in warm nice place was clean and tidy.
Drinking water point, special for wash dishes.
Really good location near Fort William with fishing on site, beach on site and sunset view.
Quiet area for activity and relax.

One of best campsites I have visited, and we have been to a few. For me, good washing facilities are a must. Not only were they very clean but free shower in a private cubicle with also a wash basin and mirror.
On an evening it was lovely to sit by loch and we took our own firewood and had a bbq watching sunset.
Definitely recommend. Quiet, well maintained (general bins emptied regular).
Lovely area to visit

A fairly formal layout on terraces along the Lochside, plenty of room to manoeuvre, decent sized and level pitches.
Not really walkable to Fort William at about 6 miles each way but an easy, near level cycle.
Great location for kayaking on Loch Eil with the reception staff knowledgeable about currents and tidal flows.
As advised at time of booking, all facilities were closed (only chemical toilet disposal available) on site due to covid restrictions so cannot comment on them
Although given other sites we visited this week have managed to be fully open this approach seems a bit weird and a little annoying to be paying normal fees.
That said, would defo return for the access to the Loch if nothing else 🙂

Easy to find, did not go into reception as everything was in an envelope so social distancing was adhered to, but there was no security on the gate and moterhomes were driving in and using the facilities for emptying and refilling with water.
But apart from that it was a good site.

Visited as part of our 25th weding anniversary mini tour of Scotland. We booked a pitch and when we arrived it was not very busy, so I was surprised that we had been placed up at the back of the site, away from the view and in amongst what appeared to be construction workers caravans. At reception we had been told that we could move if we didn't like it, but we just stayed as there was much wildlife to observe in the surrounding trees.
The pitches were electric-only but we were placed near a water supply
There is a decent length of shoreline for a stroll and a wooded area at one end which can be explored further.
The on site shop was well stocked.

Excellent site for exploring the area with handy supermarkets in Fort William, very good facilities everything clean and tidy, nice walks along the beach, and if you are going for a ferry at Mallaig it is only an hours drive away.

We arrived in dry weather, erected out tent in a lovely spot, one of 4or 5 I think all separated by small roads and trees, quite secluded, once you've got past the the trailer people, which let it down.
It was a quiet place just us and one other tent,
The chain sawing on the trees was annoying and what sounded like a saw mill working away till after 10 at night also not nice, could be cus we were out of season.
Site was clean wash house could have been heated especially this time of year, it was fairly clean. Washing up area was ok. Shop was limited, could do with a cafe.
