Just spent four days up at Linnhe and have to say that the campsite is both a credit to Scotland and its Owners. The pitch was hard standing and even with torrential rain stayed reasonably dry and unmuddy.
The views from the campsite over the Loch are spectacular and the terracing for the pitches ensures that everybody gets a view of the Loch.
The facilities are excellent with a shop and excellent reception area. The toilet blocks and showers are sparkling and the hot water is both plentiful and free.
The site has good washing up facilities and although we didn't use them, I was told by other caravanners that the grey water and chemical disposal areas are excellent.
Fort William is a ten minute drive away and boasts a Morrisons and Lidl amongst other stores. The town centre is pedestrianised and was quiet for the most part with some good value shopping to be had.
Altogether a wonderful weekend but one hell of a drive from West Yorkshire. Even this was worth it for the views of the white water waterfall caused by the torrential rain in the Highlands.

This was our second visit to this campsite, the best campsite we have stayed in Scotland so far and will continue to return.
I camped with my husband and 8 year old son. We enjoy this campsite for the peace and quiet, the lovely views and the great fishing. This campsite is spotless and very well maintained. It is very child friendly and the staff are great.
Plenty to do out and about. This is a very peaceful place and great to recharge your batteries and have great family fun time again. Although the weather was not the best we made the best of what we had.
Shower block was great plenty of clean well kept showers available a well stocked shop for all the things forgotten.
Well done to all the staff for keeping the place running so well. I would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of visiting.

We came to this site to rest up after doing the Caledonian canal. What a fabulous site. The views were stunning over Loch Eil. The site was very well laid out with good roads and many small camping areas.
The price was very reasonable at £12. 75 for a small tent with 2 adults and a car and boat. Reception was like going into a hotel and was very welcoming and helpful. There was also a shop on site but we didn't use it.
Toilets and showers were situated in the centre of the park and were spotless and of a very high standard.
In the ladies there were 10 toilets and 3 showers with a sink, and also 5 private sinks for getting washed. There was also a bath.
A great site that we hope to be returning to in the future.

We stayed here for 2 nights in April, this was our first visit at this site as we usually stay at glen nevis site when in this area but we fancied a change, this site is spotless (not that glen Nevis isn't
)the toilets and shower block were always clean, the only thing id say on the negative side is that the ladies showers were boiling and no control over the heat as they are the push type that stays on for about a minute then push again, a child possibly could not have been able to use them as they'd of been scolded.
There is a play area for kids, separate areas for walking your dog, a shop, laundry (cant comment as we didn't use it but probably as clean as the rest of the site.
This site is about 5 miles from Fort William but having a car this wasn't a problem, I would recommend this site to anyone, we'll definitely use it again.

A excellent site good facilities heated shower and toilet block beach area is beautiful. Park for the children on site. Excellent location for the Nevis range shop on site was not opened due to time of year but had laundrette reasonable priced for tokens and powder. Indoor play area for toddlers.
Local shop short drive away I think it was a cooperative it had post office also, short drive from Fort William stunning views of the nevis range. Staff very helpful we could chose our pitch. Pitch size good value for money we had small porch awning up and car still plenty of room for the kids to play. Plenty of showers and toilets in blocks. 2 dog exercise areas
Will be doing another visit here top campsite 5 stars

Good location beside the loch. Out of season visit so facilities were reduced as would be expected, however hot showers, baths and privacy wash basin cubicles were all available, well heated and comfortable to use.
Pitches were level, hard standing and being out of season we had plenty of choice.
In an area where there is plenty to do, this site will make an ideal base for lots of activities and day trips from site.
Friendly helpful staff and easy to find site, definitely a site we will return to.

We went there for 3 nights (2 adults + 2 children) and it was just great.
The customer service was great, very friendly staff, they did everything to help. I just had to call them or go to reception and they did everything to resolve any problems I had or answer any questions.
The overall location of the caravan park is just astonishing. You can see the Loch Linnhe to your left and Loch Eil to your right, where the view to Loch Eil I found better. In the background you can see a lot of mountains.
There is however no facility of transport there. You either have to take your car with you or get a Taxi every single time you want to go out. Especially if with small children, because the only way out is to walk on the grass next to a fast road and the nearest place is Corpach, which I would estimate to be min. 30min walk. The buses also go from Corpach only.
There is a small shop in the caravan park, which at my time (end October) was closed, so make sure you bring your own food with you. A laundry and a centre for children is also available, where children can play indoors. In the same building there is a WiFi hotspot, where you can use the Internet. However, you need to bring your own PC (or phone) since there are no computers there. The cost of £3 per day is also very reasonable.
A small playground for younger kids is located near the loch.
A place to park your boats is near the loch as well, so you can bring your boats with you, however they clearly state that there are no rescue arrangements in that area, so any swimming or boating is of your own risk.
I stayed in a Platinum caravan, and I cannot make enough complements about that. The kitchen is fully equipped with plates in all different sizes, bowls, normal glasses, wine glasses, cups, mugs, and a full draw with cutlery.
To my surprise there were 3 bedrooms, while I was only expecting 2. Each could sleep 2 persons and each had a wardrobe with 2 draws. Also there were 2 toilets, one having a shower as well. Hot water was available.
The living area was very great and there was a TV with DVD player, which I knew, and for that reason I was able to enjoy the nights watching DVDs with the family. There were heaters in every room, so in the cold, we had no problem.
The view outside the window of this caravan was great. The Loch Linnhe to my front. I strongly recommend the Platinum caravan, because the others will not give you that view.
There is hardly anything I can criticise except the transportation, but bring a wall clock with you because there was none in there, so we had to have our watches on all the time to know what time it was. This however is hardly any problem for most, so you can see yourself how great this accommodation is.

Campsite on shores of the lake, with direct access to the beach. Beautiful views, including Ben Nevis, when the weather is good. Amazing sunsets. Facilities on site very clean. Burger Van welcome.
Only downside was poor pedestrian and public transport access towards Fort William. Only walking route is along grass bank of a 60mph road, which is not lit, and nearest bus at Corpach. On site shop staff very helpful.
Nearest supermarket is co-op in Corpach which is about a mile away. Train ride to Mallaig recommended, also pub/hotel food by Neptune staircase.

Not the sort of site we would normally use being so big, but after several hours drive we would have stopped anywhere! Oh, how supprised we were. We had a friendly welcome and although we hadn't booked they managed to fined us a spot. The site is divided into little areas so you don't feel you are on a big site. The toilets, showers etc were very clean and the shop well stocked. Direct access to the loch was great for an evening stroll. The site manager, Woodie, I think (sorry if I got the name wrong), stopped by for a chat and went into great depth about the local area, where we were going to next and what to see while we were in Scotland. Him taking the time to talk to us made us feel really welcome. Thank you Woodie.
Would recommend without a doubt and would go back today if it wasn't so far from home

Spent 2 nights at this campsite with friends and will definitely return. Kids ranged from 4 to 17 and there was plenty for all to do. Toilet facilities are excellent and the on site shop is well stocked and priced. We picked this site because it has direct access to the loch for our kayak but because of the really strong current around the site were limited to who could use the boat. It took 2 adults to be able to control it. Would be perfect for motored boats but not for ours. The views from the caravan were beautiful and where we pitched our tent was perfect, just next to the boat park. Staff were very helpful and accommodating as because of the weather our friends, who were originally supposed to stay in their tent, changed their minds when we arrived and booked a static. The staff couldn't do enough to help and even gave her an upgrade for free because the site was not full. The women and kids ended up in the caravan and left the men in the tent. Fantastic!
