Having Just returned from a week at Tregoad I would like to say what a great time was had by all our party. The booking in was quick and not to intense it was a bit tricky moving round site with my outfit but managed ok. The Pitch was nice and level but could have done with a bit more length.
The view was great from our pitch.
The toilet facilities were a little bit cramped to say the least but clean.
The swimming pool was a great asset for the camp and the jaquzzi a bonus. The club house was okay lots of kids at night for the kids disco which is great. Then entertainment for the older kids was okay. We only ate breakfast in the restraunt and it was very nice reasonable as well.
Two negatives that I could find was the cost of taxis down to looe a five minute ride costing between £7 and £9 pounds. There is a car park in looe for a £5 a day. Plus the site advertises fishing lakes people be warned the track to fishing lake is not for the feint hearted. Its down a very steep field opposite the entrance and a quarter of a mile along a track.
The lake looks lovely and fish can be seen on top but only caught 1 small roach. Minimum tackle only if you go.
Would I go again? yes no problem The crabbing in looe is worth the 6hr trip.

Spent a week here over Easter with wife and three kids. On entering the site we noticed how clean the place was on entry (we usually judge a site on first impressions)
As we checked in we were quite tired and teasy, but we found the staff on reception to be very friendly and accommodating, especially as our three were running around the shop
After settling onto our pitch it was getting on so we went up to the bistro for something to eat which we found to be very good for holiday park standards, but the icing on the cake was the kids disco our kids absolutely loved it, in fact they made us take them up there every night.
The prices were pretty reasonable so it wasn't too bad going up there all the time and they also had good entertainment for the adults.
To cut a long story short we had a fantastic holiday
The park has a great swimming pool, lovely showers, and all the staff we spoke to we're very friendly and a big thank you to the owner who does the kids disco
We have already booked to return in the summer holidays for 2 weeks as its in a good position for exploring Cornwall

Spent the Easter week here with two friends. Have been here once before a few years ago.
Firstly I was surprised at how much work had been done to improve the site and it's facilities.
Toilets were modern and kept very clean. Loads of hot water and proper showers with taps rather than the irritating push buttons.
The swimming pool and spa were excellent and we made full use of these during our stay. Spent nearly every evening in the bar because the atmosphere was great, with pub prices and reasonably cheap meals. There was also live entertainment at the weekends which everyone seemed to enjoy.
The downside was that they had a power issue which caused problems with the wifi and tripped out our electric on a couple of evenings. However as we left the owner apologised and said that this problem was being resolved.
We will definitely be visiting this park again as the staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Have just returned from a 4 day stay at Tregoad Park. On arrival staff very friendly and helpful. Booked the RV pitch and it was a very good size and good position.
One reason we picked this site was the wifi across the park, paid £10 for week's use, but was never able to connect while we were there, very unhappy teenager!,we also heard from staff that other people were not happy about the wifi either. We were told they were trying to put it right, and they did give us the £10 refund when leaving.
Power across the site also kept tripping, all campers were asked to use their own gas heaters instead of electric ones in peak times! Bar very small and very noisy, nowhere near enough space when site busy. Pool ok although no changing rooms.
Toilet facilities started off being extremely clean, but when site filled up Easter Saturday, it was then a different story - toilets blocked with toilet paper constantly.
My partner thought fishing lakes were good, but be prepared for a tiring walk back up the steep hill.
As we were in a large motorhome, we had no transport, nearest bus stop was only a 15 minute walk away, but on a very fast road with no footpaths, not ideal if you have young children.
Will not be a site that we will be returning to.

Brilliant campsite.
The children ages 8 and 10 absolutely loved it, there is a cinema room with a film on every night which they thought was brilliant and gives mum and dad a couple of hours peace and quiet, or time to have a drink in the bar upstairs.
We booked a hard standing pitch and it was great, water nearby etc. Toilets and showers were always clean and tidy, unisex showers in middle of the block were always empty and very clean, really handy if you have kids to have a choice of unisex and own sex showers.
Was a shame about no changing room in swimming pool but there was a family bathroom with a bath and hot water for half an hour if you wanted to pay for it in the swimming pool conservatory which is great if you have kids.
All in all site was brilliant and we will definitely be going back. Staff were very nice and helpful, and a great spot to explore Cornwall as only 5 minute drive into Looe where you can get on a train to Liskard and then you can change to get just about anywhere in Cornwall.
Also fantastic field for ball games and kite flying

Spent two weeks camping with the wife and two kids we have a wolf lake 7 and had plenty of room on a pitch with great views.
Long electric cables may be needed as some points were quite a way from your pitch.
The toilet block and showers were clean and there was always plenty of hot water, the site shop was a little lacking but just down the road is a post office that sells anything and everything.
The site is great for kids with a disco each night and children's entertainment.
A well situated site being 2 miles from looe, a mile down the road is the coddy shack a great little fish and chip shop with a bar great!. Overall a great family site we will be visiting again.

We stayed on this site in August 2011. As a family of 5, not one of us could criticise it. We currently use it as our marker against other sites.
The facilities were lovely. Shower blocks were warm and clean. There is even a bathroom (small cost) which I utilised for washing 3 grubby boys instead of battling with the showers.
The night-time entertainment was excellent. We have never been a family to join organised activities but these were so well managed that my boys begged to go to the bar every night. So with the kids disco and the genius children's cinema we happily obliged.
The food is great value for money and menu is varied. The themed nights added to the fun, we had a curry club and beach party.
On the downside the footie pitch is advertised a little too ambitiously. Felt like it was built on the side of a hill which made it interesting. But what that lacked the pool more than made up for.
We stayed in one of the camping pods. A little snug for a family of 5 and if you like to stay in and chill in the evenings or do your own cooking then you may struggle, however for somewhere to just sleep they are warm and dry and the door locks.
I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at this site at half term and really glad we did. They have got themselves well geared up for winter touring. It wasn't very busy with tourers but they have cottages and statics which appeared to be full. Toilets and showers were very clean and well heated. The indoor pool was busy and the kids thought it was great. We spent some chill-out time in the Jacuzzi which went down very well. The bar and restaurant was only open at weekends but the beer and food was reasonably priced and the atmosphere was good. There is a games room with air hockey and pool which came in handy when the weather was bad (it rained for 3 days). The shop opened a couple of hours each day and supplied the basics needed but the wardens said it was more stocked from Easter. All in all this is a very nice site and the wardens are really friendly and helpful. We tripped our electric 5 times, fairly common with RV's, but they never complained and always came out and switched us back on quickly. Looe is a nice place and we were surprised how much was open this early in the year. The beaches at Talland Bay look great but it was too cold to sit out. We would definitely visit this site again and have already booked for Easter.

We booked a weeks holiday as the price was good and the site sounded great. I am glad that I asked for a larger pitch as our Outwell Montana 6 took it all up along side the car.
The shower and toilet block were cleaned regularly and plenty of hot water for a decent shower. The washing up area was also adequate but why do people insist on washing their pots at 1am, really annoying if you're close by.
The swimming pool is now inside (we think it was the original outside one from what we can gather). Beware there are no changing rooms. There are 2 family bathrooms that cost £1 for half an hour that can be used but they were not adequate for our family of 5
This site was noisy. We had to report 2 families in particular on several occasions but nothing was done. The club house was really loud, bar entertainment stops every night at 11pm.
It did have a small play area which the children enjoyed, however the crazy golf was in disrepair and you had to buy the golf clubs etc which were quite expensive. The shop was small but well stocked and the staff were very friendly. The park is in a great position to explore Looe and the surrounding area. I could imagine this site to be lovely at more quiet times of the year.

We booked an electric pitch but was sited on the overflow/non-electric pitches and had to throw our hook up cable over a hedge and we were quite a walk from the toilets and showers, which had no lighting at night-time (showers and toilets were kept clean)
Our pitch was ok, slightly sloping but they did seem to squeeze in as many as possible.
The shop on site was ok but a little on the expensive side and the nearest supermarket was about 7 miles away, although there is a small Coop and Somerfield in Looe, which is only about 3 miles away.
The kids enjoyed the film club, which was £1 each. There was only 1 play area and the minigolf was in need of repair.
The entertainment seemed quite popular too, thank goodness it stopped at 11 pm !
