We went here for a week.First of all. The weather was atrocious. But we made the most of it.
The pitches are ok, we were placed out on the hillside where there is not much cover from the elements. We didn't know this until the 2nd day as the fog shrouded the area! The Staff were very friendly and very helpful.
The site is 10mins from Looe and close to the beaches etc, which is very handy. The local area is great and well worth exploring. We ventured out to Plymouth when the weather got too bad and the National Aquarium is worth a visit.
The showers & washing facilities were good however, the laundry area left a lot to be desired and I thought it was far too expensive for how long it took to actually wash & dry. Also other patrons of the site remove your belongings from the machines just after the cycle and then proceed to leave them out sopping wet. So don't get sidetracked while washing.Although it would be better if you knew how long each cycle was going to take as each machine varies!
We did not use the clubhouse or the pool but the seemed busy and due to the size of the site and the age of our kids they did not use the park much as we could not keep an eye on them.
Overall we were very pleased with the site but will try somewhere else next time to get a little bit variety!

Just spent a week here, fantastic site would highly recommend. Pitches are big, although some a sloping and the electric hook ups can be a distance from the tent (take extra long cable) but we had a corner pitch loads of room even for our 7m tent. Facilities modern, showers new, cleaned regularly and loads of hot water, never had to queue. Bar/bistro excellent value Weds barbie for £4. 95 and adult and a sunday carvery for £6. 95 too much to eat it all. Stunning views, peaceful location only noise from a few seagulls and crows. Staff really friendly. Only negative entertainment bloke was useless, terrible organisation. Other acts were good. We are definitely going back next summer.

Nice site with plenty of room between pitches.
Very friendly and helpful staff. We tripped the electric twice but they never bothered.
Well stocked shop which we found very reasonable.
Nice toilet and shower block when just been cleaned. But often the floors were swishing with water and grass.
Unisex shower block with wash basin cubicles. These are a great idea when holidaying with a young family.
Reasonable priced beer but quite pricey food.
10 minutes drive from Looe
10 minute drive to Morrisons supermarket.
Music from bar stops at 11, site was nice and quiet for half past.
Wifi was available for only £10 for a full week.
Only criticisms with the site are;
We expected a bar, restaurant, cafe/take away. But actually it was all rolled into one. Going for a drink at night was like sitting in a cafe. It would have been nice if there had been a nice country pub within walking distance.
The cinema was a bit of a joke. They played ancient films, which most of the kids had already got at home.

We recently stayed at this site for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The site is very clean, the staff are extremely friendly and the facilities are excellent.
One word of warning though, the tent pitches are a bit on the small side so if you have a large tent then ensure you follow the sites advice on their web site and phone through first before booking. We have a Vango Vail 500 (7 mts by 4mts approx) and it took up the whole pitch.

Have just spent a very wet two weeks here. On arrival the staff are really helpful and its nice to be able to site caravan and awning in best direction for yourself.
The kids loved the outdoor pool (even in the rain!) The small cinema was enjoyed by the kids and was something different to do which kept them entertained on an evening.
The shower block is old but is due to be refurbed in the winter, best showers out though for being able to adjust the temp and the pressure beats most sites we've been to.
Would recommend that they cover over the dishwashing facilities as it does get a bit wet when rain pouring down
Great location close to looe and many other places to visit. Would definitely return and recommend this campsite.

Lovely polite, friendly staff on arrival. Shop sold nearly everything you need as well as camping basics. We had nice level pitch, close to water point.
There was a bistro which served breakfast and evening meals, kids discos and adult quizzes, karaoke etc.
Showers were fine, cleaned daily, free hairdryers.
Lots of places to visit, we loved crabbing at looe!
You had to supervise your children when they are swimming in outdoor pool, good idea as no lifeguard present. Group of parents drinking alcohol at poolside did not look good when their children were swimming.
However, this did not spoil our lovely holiday.

We have just returned from this great site after a lovely sun drenched week. This site was a bit of a find. All the amenities of a large south coast holiday park but with a lovely friendly family feel. After arriving in pouring rain and wind and being pitched on a terraced waterlogged spot. We thought the worst. The staff on site could not have been more helpful letting us pitch facing any way on this massive pitch to miss the mud with the awning and even helped move the van. The club and children's entertainment were great, not too intrusive or noisy.Showers and toilets clean and plenty of them, but only two blocks one at top and bottom of hill. Great pub 10mins away at Hessenford The Copley Arms good food and play area for kids. Pool small but great on hot days.5mins from Looe.Play area well maintained. For the best closest shop try turning left after turning out of site as if walking to Looe. Its next to the Barbican Arms ,a Londis it seems to be a bit cheaper than shops in Looe itself and sells meat ,bacon sausages from local farms very reasonable.

We booked at Tregoad after a recommendation from parents. The site itself is lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. We were in the lower part of the site near the amenities block. The new showers were lovely, but the older ones in the toilet block we used could do with updating. Sometimes we found the toilets dirty, but this is the fault of the users and not the staff, as they were cleaned daily. Also on a couple of occasions teenagers were sat on the side next to the basins chatting in the toilets, this made my 11 year old niece feel uncomfortable. We would not stay at Tregoad again as we found it very noisy at night, this was noise from the entertainment in the bar, and inconsiderate campers leaving the bar noisily late at night, we have 2 small children who struggled to sleep through it. Also on Tregoad they have a policy that children only have to be supervised by a parent after 10 pm! This meant that a family near us went to the bar at around 8.00 pm and the kids (5 of) aged between 6 & 10 years just ran riot around the site in and out of the toilets and showers, around other caravans and tents making a lot of noise. The noise was only slightly reduced when the parents returned from the bar at around 10.15 pm. Again not the fault of staff but the parents. The playground was OK, but again lots of unsupervised children doing as they wish. We did use the crazy golf, but were surprised that this was charged extra £2.00 per person. The pool which we did use on a couple of occasions is OK, not very big though, and even though heated it felt chilly on a warm / hot day. The shop sold all the basics at reasonable prices, but we did make a trip to Morrison's (directions obtained from friendly staff) about 15 mins drive away. If you want a holiday with a bar / entertainment and kids club, then this is the place for you, If you would prefer somewhere quieter don't book here. In summary Tregoad Park site and staff are lovely, some of the people who stayed during our visit are not!

Stayed here for three nights, friendly welcome, the pitch was level, toilet and shower facilities excellent. Site very family friendly with fantastic entertainment for the kids throughout the day, a truly great location for looe only a mile away. Will be visiting again soon. Only one down side you will need thick skin for the outdoor pool!

We stayed at Tregoad during July and have mixed views about our stay. We were pitched on the bottom terrace of the site and the lower site toilet / shower block was barely adequate. Toilets were not brilliant at flushing and often you had to flush them more than once! Don't know what this would be like during the high season. Work was being done on the Unisex block but this was not finished when we left. When we woke on Tuesday morning we were flooded with 6 inches of water in the awning. 4 pitches on the lower terrace were under water. We found this at 5.30 in the morning and it was 8.00 before we found anyone of authority to sort it out. They were very quick at cutting a channel out to the field below to drain the water away but we could not help thinking that this must have happened before and should have been rectified. Overall we had a good holiday but did not spend much time actually on the site. Probably would not be going back.
