The is an amazing park for all ages, from hikers to bikers great facilities for campers and caravans. Has beautiful walks and fun trails for children.
The river has a beautiful walk right into the village where you can get everything you need from the local bars and shops!
The walk up to the big stone as they call it is well worth the hike as the views over the lough to carlingford and omeath in the south are breathtaking!
Absolutely loved it and would recommend to anyone, and I'll definitely be back!

Lovely site! Loads of beautiful walks. 10 mins away from town.
Only negative would be they don’t have specific times for cleaning showers, toilets. It means if you have they are cleaning in one area you have to walk length of site to use the others. Stated cleaning times would be good.

Very good location with lots of options for walks. Toilet facilities are very well set up and spotlessly clean. Location for parking on
Your site is easy identified and easy to park. Some of the sites are slightly sloped. Staff are very efficient and friendly.
A location you would choose to visit often. Close to Rostrevor is also very useful and convenient.

Pros: We loved the setting. It's in a beautiful forest close to a pretty village. There were great places to walk and cycle. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and staff kept the place very clean and tidy.
The on-site coffee shop, tennis courts, children's playground and forest paths each added to our great experience.
We visited this site with two 13 year olds and an 11 year old and found plenty to do.
Cons: We were traveling quite a distance and as our journey progressed, we were concerned we might not make the 8pm park deadline. We tried all phone numbers provided but offices were closed. On arrival we were informed that the office closed at 9pm. Had we known this, the latter stages of the journey would have certainly been less stressful.
The site was quite difficult to access, even with a motor mover. The awning also took a little more time because the site is on a slope.
However, even with these slight difficulties at the start of the holiday, we would definitely return as there is lots to do around the caravan park, and also, great places to visit nearby.
