Great campsite. Showers were spotless and site was quiet.

Amazing pub along the road and great fish and chippie.

I managed to freeze all our food in camper but there’s a great wee shop on site that does hot rolls.

Couldn’t fault it and we definitely will be returning.

 Very friendly service from Vivienne.

We were grateful for the help as we were doing a touring trip around England and Wales from Hungary.

The site is beautiful and the location is great too.

We loved the views.

Nice campsite right next to the lake.

The host is very kind and welcoming.

We only stayed for one night but appreciated the view.

In the morning you can buy a good breakfast at the campsite.

A simple, cheap campsite in an great location for the outdoors.

I ran the Ardgartan peninsula one day and hiked Beinn Narnain and The Cobbler the second day, both straight from the campsite.

Facilities were clean with hot water but be aware there's only 2 urinals, 1 loo and 1 shower in the men's so at busy times/weekends that could be an issue.

I was there midweek in the rain so it was quiet!

Basic but tidy site conveniently located to break up a touring holiday.

Did find it very difficult to get level on several pitches so blocks required particularly for larger motorhomes.

Despite being close to main road, very little overnight road noise.

Good facilities, plenty of hot water.

Very friendly service, good value for £20pn.

We have been coming to the site for a good few years now. Vivienne is always a great help.

We bought a caravan last year but have been to the site in camping tents, our campervan and now caravan, it's just perfect, facilities are clean and well serviced.

Great coffee tea etc and filled Rolls etc at the cafe / shop, and lovely cakes, always a treat in the mornings.

We love loch long and arrochar and this site will always be our firm favourite.

The campsite is spacious and plenty of space between units with stunning scenery surrounding it.

Several options for eating and drinking available in Arrochar, we chose to walk to The Village Inn, roughly just over a mile walk and well worth it.

Campsite toilet was clean but low on toilet paper and I had to get some from the other cubicle.

We didn’t use the shower on this occasion.

The price was good value for two people in a tent with hook up.

The place is unkempt. The pitches are not properly prepared.

The disposal of the Chemical W C is disgusting. There is no water to rinse.

There are no barriers, so anyone can get onto the pitch at any time.

--------

Perfect stop on our way South.

Warm friendly welcome, everything we needed, close to village.

Delicious breakfast rolls, the haggis and egg highly recommended.

Will definitely stay again. Thankyou.
