Good stop for the night
Not bad at all
Perfect views and next to the petrol station for a fill up.
A nice private bit for the tents so you weren’t next to the camper vans which we liked.

We were given all the info we needed prior to arrival (latest arrival time, cash only, £1 coin for showers, 6amp hookup), allowing us to arrive in time and with the necessary means to pay!
Toilets and showers were always clean and well supplied. A yale lock and key are used to secure these from use by the general public. This seemed to work well.
We were in Arrochar for the Loch Long Jetty Assn 10k trail run, which starts and finishes approx 400m from the site.
We visited the Village Inn for dinner, bought supplies from Braeside Stores, and had a lochside drink on Ben Arthur's Bothy terrace - all of which were very good and also within easy walking distance.
Departure time on Sunday morning was relaxed (by 11 am) and we spent the day climbing the nearby Ben Arthur/The Cobbler.
We missed out on a cuppa at the Olive Branch (Part of the campsite reception and shop) having not checked Sunday closing times, which was a shame as they had a good selection of cakes when we handed the key in on departure.
I am sure we will be back.

A nice campsite opposite a nice Loch.
Facilities were pretty good and staff we spoke to were really nice.
Would stay again.
No play park for children if you wanted it but was dog friendly.

Chemical toilet - had to hunt for it, muddy area, and still not sure I used the right container.
The place a little run down. We were beside a dishevelled old static caravan. I didn't get a good vibe.
I felt like I couldn't leave things around.

A great place to stop off, all facilities, helpful people, right by Loch Long with walks nearby and a great chippy down the road.
Thanks to Vivienne for saving the space for us.
The coffee and breakfast were also great

Great location close to Loch Lomaond. Nice relaxed vibe at this campsite. Owner/warden was welcoming and friendly.
Facilities a bit dated - however showers/toilets were clean, and overall good value at £20 for the night including electric hook up.
Arrochar is a small village - we walked to The Village Inn for some real ale - Loch Fyne or Loch Lomond Brewery products, all excellent.

The staff are very helpful and welcoming.
The site itself is excellent for a short stay en route to further afield.
Pitches laid out within a circle of static vans in a very picturesque area.
Direct from the site is Loch Long which is lovely.
Fuel garage next door and plenty of places to eat and drink in the area.
Some have mentioned lack of security and it’s true that you can just walk onto the site from the road however the area is quiet and we did not see anything at all to concern us.

Handy location for overnight stop.
Tourers in the middle of the caravan site.
Very helpful staff in the shop but it shut at three.
Good showers and toilets but not many of them.
Didn't see much of the area as it poured when we were there.
A lot of midges.

Basic. People seem to live on site and there was quite a bit of coming and going at one particular motor home.
It's OK for one night. Wouldn't want to stay much longer.
No way of drying your hands in the bathroom.
