 Pleasant site at the top end of loch long.
Quiet considering a main road right outside of site.
Friendly owner and staff.
Facilities basic but OK.
Fuel station and takeaway adjacent.

Good location, good views, good sized pitches.
Convenient for all local facilities,
Excellent walking area,
Great value at £20 a night.
Even has its own little cafe incorporating the site reception.

Beautiful setting, great views, near the loch, nice walks, full amenities, friendly staff and dog friendly.

A lovely peaceful site across from the Loch. The on site cafe and garage have everything you need.
You get given a key for the toilet block and the showers are a pound, clean and tidy facilities.
Chemical waste a short walk down the lane near the house. Mostly static caravans, but a few motorhome's too this weekend.
I had a nice meal in a local restaurant and look forward to returning to the site in the future.

Our booking was very last minute but this was no problem for Vivienne, who gave us instructions on the phone to where we could hook up the van and pick up keys for the toilet block, and said it was no problem to pop in to see her at the cafe the following day to settle up as she was now gone for the day. Perfect.
We arrived after dark but managed to get parked and hooked up with ease although some clearer sign posts would have helped. After locating the key for the toilet block it was a little disappointing to find out that there was only 2 toilets, 2 wash basins and 2 showers.
There was little space around the basins for your things and only one had a mirror, neither had a plug which was frustrating as the water was extremely hot and there was no mixer tap. They were also directly in line with the door so not the best if you wanted some privacy while washing.
There was also no wash up area for dishes etc and we couldn't see anywhere for waste water (there is a chemical toilet disposal).
On paying we were informed it's cash only so we did have to take a quick trip to the ATM and return before leaving.
Over all not the best site.

Enjoyed our stay here, good facilities & owners are very welcoming.
Good value for money,
Campsite very quiet which both my husband & I like
On having to leave before our time we didn't lose any money, owner has welcomed us back and won't need to pay as already done so.

Nice quiet campsite next to a static caravan park with open views across loch long.
Good walks direct from the site.

Myself and sister met up with new friends.
Great wee hidden gem.
Everything you need on site and within a 5 minute walk.
Great price very happy and have booked for Halloween 🎃

Great site, basic, but good for the price.
Right behind petrol station and has attached till shop.
We had friends staying at near by hotel.
Ticked all the boxes good value and accommodating owner.

Good location, very helpful staff.
Good value.
The toilets and showers were very clean.
There was some noise from the nearby main road, but not too much.
