We visited the site as a family group. Site is impeccably maintained with a lot of attention to detail.
Shop was a great bonus and stocked a great array of goods, particularly liked the breakfast sandwiches and croissants/ pastries which was a nice touch. Also, pizza night once a week and a noodle/ curry takeaway bar on 3 nights, which were delicious!
Loved the animal farm for the children and the playground.
Our only criticism was that the toilets/ showers weren't very clean ? Also, they were old and dated and needed an update.

Stayed here in August with our two children age 4 and 6 years.
The owners were always very helpful and accommodating and the site has spacious pitches and is well looked after. The shop is well stocked with some items reasonably priced but some a little overpriced.
My children loved the animal walk and visited the donkeys daily.
Whitesands beach is a 20 minute walk (with children and beach equipment) from the campsite, along a road which is quite busy with traffic going to and from the beach but most cars were very considerate of pedestrians.
Lovely walks from the site up into the hills and along the coastal path where we saw porpoise and seals.
St. David's city and the cathedral are well worth a visit, only a 20 minute walk from the site but again along the country roads.
Lovely play area for children which was a bit far away from our pitch but ideal for campers on the summer camping field.
TYF are an excellent company to use for adventurous activities particularly co-steering, based in St David's.
My only criticism of the site was the cleanliness of the toilets and showers which seemed to deteriorate throughout our stay. The toilets and showers were very well used as the site was full most of the time. But the toilets never closed for cleaning and I only saw a cleaner once. I think when they were cleaned the cleaner just did a quick wipe down. Instead of ensuring all of the walls, surfaces and floors were fully cleaned.
The state of the toilets did not spoil our stay as there are many really lovely features about the site and the surrounding area but I really hope the owners inspect the toilets and maybe employ better cleaners.

Just spent 10 lovely days on this site. The site is well maintained and looked after and pitches fairly spacious. Shop on site has a good range of items but not a great choice when it comes to food, cooked meat (ham) was a £1 a slice and on their website they say it has a 'butchers counter selling fresh local meats', it must have been removed when we went, all we could see was a small fridge unit with a few packs of bacon, sausages and beefburgers - a very misleading quote. The toilet block in the main field only has 2 showers and 2 toilets in and we had to queue to use them too many times, as for people saying the toilets were clean I'd hate to see ones that they thought were dirty!. They weren't minging but were not clean. On one morning I met the cleaner mopping the floor with beige water with bits of grass floating in it, after I finished my shower the water hadn't been refreshed and she was still using the brown sludge to merrily mop the floor. Out of the two showers, one is a usual cubicle and one is a small room which has lots of blue/black mould growing on all walls and around the door - not nice. The beach at whitesands is nice with a good car park £4 for the day - gets full quickly mind but no dogs allowed but we managed to find a pitch to set up camp for the day on the grass in front of the life guard station and kept our tired dog on the lead (sleeping in the beach shelter) A short 3/4 mile walk along the coast path is a lovely little bay where we could take the dog and spent 3 lovely days playing there with a visit from a seal one morning. All in all we had a very nice sunny stay at Lleithyr, and the positives outweighed the negatives.

We recently visited Lleithyr Farm July 2014. We had a lovely stay here, all the toilet/shower facilities were great all clean and tidy. We stayed in tents with no EHU in a nice quiet field with only 5 other tents in which was perfect, nice and quiet away from the busy field where EHU is available. The playground was a nice size my 5yr old loved it and the rabbits. We enjoyed the walk around the farm animals the donkeys are very playful. Shop facilities were excellent also! we had a visit to white sands beach about 20mins down hill walk we all enjoyed the beach. Definitely could have stayed more than 2 nights, we will be visiting again soon hopefully. :)

We have just got back from a 4 night stay at lleithyr farm. It was our first time camping and we decided to make it more interesting by taking along our 2 year old daughter.
The site was easy to find and the first thing we noticed was how clean and well kept the site was. We booked in at reception where we were greeted by a lovely couple.
We got to choose our pitch which we choose by the toilet blocks. The ground is nice and level the toilet blocks very clean and tidy, showers 20p for 4 minutes. We explored the animal enclosures which our little girl loved and had a nice play in the park.
The beach is within easy walking distance for our 2 year old ( make sure you follow directions given as we didn't on the first trip and took the long way round scary on the busy round with a little one. Lesson learnt as the other route is quite and half the distance.
Overall we were extremely happy you can tell the owners love this camp site as the care and attention they give it really shows. My husband was impressed the signs matched there web site, simple minds.
We shall 100% be going again next year. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The site is in a great location for coastal walking and only 20 mins walk to St David's. They have a lovely shop containing most items and friendly staff. Facilities are great, 20p for over 3 mins shower. The ground is flat and has great drainage with great views of the hills
We would definitely go here again.

We loved this campsite. We chose a pitch in the field near the playground and shop under instruction from our 2 children (2 and 5. )
The shop is brilliantly stocked and does a great range of croissant and pain au chocolat each morning and freshly cooked pizzas to order on a wed and Sunday evening. There is also a food van outside the shop over the weekend which had a good menu including asian noodles, curry, jacket potatoes. We didn't try it out ourselves instead choosing to cook or BBQ and enjoy the glorious Welsh sunshine. There is also an AMAZING fish and chip shop called The Shed at Porthgain.
The facilities for children are excellent including a play park (more for older children age 4 upwards) and plenty of space to fly kites and ride bikes. There is a lovely field with 3 donkeys, some very cute pigmy pigs and goats, chickens etc.
The toilet facilities were always very clean and no queues for the lovely hot showers even over the bank holiday weekend when the site was full. This may be the result of charging 20 pence for a 4 min shower.
There is a free hairdryer and the option of a family/disabled shower room if required.
There is a laundry with x2 washing machines £3 a wash and x2 dryers, iron and board etc should you need it.
Whitesands beach is a 15-20 min walk from the campsite along a fairly narrow lane or a few mins drive.
The staff are really friendly and work really hard to keep the place clean and tidy.
Would definitely recommend this campsite.

Had a cracking stay here with two other families. Really friendly owners and staff, booking in process quick and easy, got a couple of pitches by the entrance for the van and two tents. Kids loved it, loads of space to cycle round, super shop with fresh bread, fresh pizza for tea and bacon and sausage baps for breakfast (other things were available to buy as well). Even though it was jam packed it was not noisy and felt really relaxed. Beach within easy walking and some cracking walks in the surrounding hills. Will be back :–)

This is an absolutely fantastic site. Site is generally level and there is space between pitches so you are not all on top of each other. We stayed at peak time and the site was full and despite this, it wasn't rowdy and there is plenty of open space for kids to play.
Toilet/shower facilities are excellent, Laundry is available in static site. Playground was excellent for the kids and the small farm area is a nice touch. The shop is well stocked and the availability of fresh bacon/sausage sandwiches, croissants etc. Each morning and on-site pizza and burger nights are great little touches
The location is fantastic, short walk to the beautiful Whitesands Beach and Pembrokeshire coast path, but worth noting that if you are a dog owner, there are restrictions on which beaches you can take dogs too at certain times of year.

Fantastic site. Spotless tidy pitches. All very well laid out. Previous reveiws have mentioned the lack of enough toilet facilities - I never had any problems, however some more dishwash sinks would have been nice.
Ideally placed for carless people like myself. Beach is 10 mins walk one way and town the same the other way. There is a bus from the crossroads near by but we always just walked into town and bussed it back.
Kids loved the playground and made lots of new friends.
St Davids has some nice little shops and pubs - priced for tourists though, so not cheap!
Great beach with a handy shop/cafe.
