What a brilliant campsite! Despite the site being quite busy (it was one of the busiest camping weekends of the year so far) the size and the lay out of this site made it feel spacious. We stayed in the just tents field (rather than the tents in the middle of the caravans field). Being city folk, we arrived without cash (they don't take card). Despite this, the owner was content to let us pitch and come back the next day.
I have read other reviews who refer to the lack of toilet facilities at this site. We didn't find this a problem. At no time did we have to wait to use the facilities. The showers were also an added bonus. I personally think the 20p idea is a good one because it stops people blocking up the showers. Again there was no queue for the showers.
What I really liked about this site was the peace and quiet. Again, I think this was a result of the spacious pitches.
The miniature farm was an added bonus and even though we don't have children, we enjoyed the farm.
St David's is a small city and we didn't really have time to visit the city. The Nisa shop is well stocked and well priced. The one way system was great fun to negotiate!
We did drive down to Whitesands but couldn't go on the beach because it's not dog friendly which is a real shame but not something the campsite can control!
We're planning to return to this site because we liked it so much and it was great value for money. I was especially pleased that our dog was free of charge at the campsite!

Stayed at Lleithry Farm from 29th June – 7th August 2013, arrived and checked in. As we wanted electric hook up we had to pitch our tent around the outside of the field, very spacious flat pitches with views of hills in the background. We picked the site due the close proximity to the beach/St David’s and the farm trail to occupy our two young children which has donkeys, horses, cows, pigs, goats, and chickens. They both loved walking round the trail which also has a playhouse and benches. The site is very clean and well looked after the toilet facilities are more than adequate, yes they only have 2 male and 2 female showers but never had to wait even when site got busy over the weekend, if needed more toilets and showers in caravan field which wasn’t very far away. We mostly used the baby changing/disabled toilet and shower as this was more spacious but could do with more hooks around the room. There is also a play area with rabbits next to the site shop which is well stocked.
St David’s (2 mile drive from site) is a lovely little place with supermarket, butchers, chemist, pubs and clothes shops. A must see is the cathedral we were all taken aback by how lovely it looks inside and out.
White sands beach (1500m from site) is gorgeous lovely white sand very shallow water, toilets, café and ice cream van £4. 00 parking all day.
As a keen golfer I played on St David’s City golf club (500m from site) spent most of my round looking at the view. Proper old fashioned club house with honesty box, £20 during the day £10 after 5pm. Changing room and showers available, as the car was full due to taking kitchen sink with us I could only squeeze in 4 clubs to took 4, 7, P and putter which is all you need for this course. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
During our stay we visited Fishguard, Solva, St Justins (lots of steps), Abereiddy beach, Tenby and Hilton court gardens, all worth a visit.

We stayed here for 3 nights in early September. The site was very quiet and we could choose our own pitch. Friendly owners with an impressive camp site. Reception doubles as a very well stocked shop.
There a two toilet blocks, one is over the road on the mostly static site. The laundry is also there. Shower costs 20p for 4mins. Would rate the shower as adequate as not the hottest or most powerful.
Good site for children as there is a play area next to reception and a animal farm walk.
Ideal location for St Davids, we walked into town in about 15-20 mins. Also close to the beach. About a 10 min walk.
Stunning Campsite in a lovely location. Well worth a visit

We have just returned from a lovely week at Lleithyr Farm. A lovely setting and well thought out site. The farm trail was popular with the little ones and there was room to play games. Although the site was full, apart from one night the site was quiet from 11pm which we liked.
We found that the pitches were of a good size, the owners friendly and the shop had everything we needed. My only gripe as others have mentioned were the toilet facilities. They weren't dirty, but there aren't enough for the number of people staying on site.
You can walk to the beach in 10-15 minutes or park all day for £4. The beach was fantastic for bodyboarding/surfing and you can walk for miles along the coastal path. There is also a small shop/cafe.
St Davids is only a couple of miles away and has a lovely Cathedral and good shops.
If it wasn't so far from home, we would return again!

Just got back from a week's stay at the farm. The location was perfect for us with a young family, they particularly enjoyed the animals.
The on-site shop was quite impressive and had most things you need.
On arrival the owners of the site gave us plenty of information in regards to pitching the tent, the campsite and the surrounding area. We found this very helpful. There was plenty of space between pitches, although it was very busy.
The toilets were cleaned twice a day but there could have been a few more cubicles for the amount of people staying.
Overall we had a lovely time and the children can't wait to visit again.

This is a wonderful campsite, we stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The owners were great, and very welcoming and helpful.
The on site shop was brilliant, they had everything you could want. The freshly baked bread was amazing.
The toilet blocks were well maintained and clean, and the showers ran on 20p meters, so make sure you have some change!
The campsite itself was very well laid out, the pitches were a good size, when we were there there had been a lot of rain and the ground was very very muddy, but this cant be helped, I was glad of my wellies!
There was a lovely play area for children to use, as well as a laundrette, and great dishwashing facilities.
The area was stunning too, quite close to the beach, and there were lovely walks around the area too.
All in all a great place to stay and we will definitely go back.

This is a lovely site, albeit very busy. The owners are very pleasant. However, many of the reviews regarding the shower facilities are true. The shower room floors were covered in sand and grass cuttings for the whole 4 days we stayed. One day was very wet. Other sites provide mops and buckets (the cleaning lady said she had suggested this) and each person mops out the cubicle after use. It works very well. It's not good enough to clean once daily given the volume of traffic.
I think there are not enough showers/toilets given the size of the site. To have to pay for showers and useless hairdryer is quite an insult. There were no mats/ slats to stand on in the shower dressing area, so it was really difficult to keep feet clean and dry after showering.

I was aware of this site for many years, the caravan club site is next door, which is partly how I knew of it as I stayed there for many years.
I was after a site I could camp on initially if I came to the area on motorbike, but now I am into kayaking, so did a short week on my own this last week for that.
The little shop down the lane is the reception for this site, it is a very neat well kept site. Rabbits etc roam about, there are the inevital mobs of seagull, crow and rook from dawn, which in june is about 5am! However its the countryside.
The site is brill, I am looking to come back next year with the kids in the caravan for our family holiday as I will not be in the caravan club by then!
I liked the fact there was no rush for me to leave, I could go when I wanted, this wouldn't be the case in high season, but nice all the same.
Some private run sites would start charging you if you went over the alotted time.
I cut my stay short by 1 night due to weather.
The shop is brill, they have everything you are likely to want, both food and non food.
The toilet blocks are very good, but have to say I am in agreement with others when I say they are not as clean as I have experienced before on clubs sites. You can see the panels are not cleaned and the floor was quite dirty, but people do walk into shower cubicles with their shoes covered in sand and mud, would you do this at home? would you? If you did you would probably curse yourself and clean it up, not so in camp sites. There were not many people staying so I think the facility didn't get too dirty because of that. At least if you see a sign up saying, cleaned at. X, you know. However they weren't disgustingly dirty, they were fine, just reiterating a point made.
There is a great area next to the shop for relaxing and a kids play frame which is quite new.
If the owners read this, you have got your site 90% right, a little more attention to the toilet block would make it a gem. Its always going to be hard and frustrating because the majority of people don't clean up after themselves, if they did sites wouldn't need cleaners.
I think if facilities are clean more people would strive to keep it that way as the same goes for if its not.

4 of us (2 tents) visited the site for 3 nights mid week, fantastic weather and great location, was lovely not to have to use the cars!
Walked to whitesands beach one day and then St David's the next. My grandparents (who were on the neighbouring caravan club site, which was very handy) both managed to walk to both locations even though both in their 80's so very manageable distance.
We loved the animal area even though all adults! and the pitches are very flat and good proximity to toilets/washing up area.
I did like this site but would not want to go in the peak season because although having 2 toilets/2 showers was fine when site was quite quiet, would hate to think what its like when busier.
My Mum and I did complain to the lady in the shop as we don't believe the toilet blocks were cleaned the whole time we were there. The owners were on holiday but the lady insisted a cleaner was still booked to come in every day! Just because it was low season does not give the excuse to be lax on the cleaning! The showers were all muddy on the floor the whole time and the sink area was grimy.
As it was low season we paid £6 per adult per night and got 3 nights for price of 2 but I certainly wouldn't recommend in the summer as looking on the website the summer holiday prices are a bit too pricey for what you get for your money in my opinion.

We stayed here for the August bank holiday, and as you would expect, it was packed out! Despite this, there was plenty of space for everyone (luckily, as we had to move away from the drunk noisy teenagers in the tent next to ours on the first night!). You can pitch wherever you want for tents, but mostly people were sensible about leaving enough space for cars etc. Nice sheltered field.
Toilet and shower blocks were good and kept clean, although I do object to paying extra for the showers - what are they charging campsite fees for!
Good little shop on the campsite that sells things for breakfast and lunch (and disposable BBQs!), and the people are friendly and helpful. St David's is not too far away, and there is good access to the beach and to coastal walks.
The only reason we're not staying here again is that we wanted a smaller quieter site. This would be great for families though.
