We made an online booking at this site and paid £160 in advance for a 5 night stay in our camper van. I tow a small, neat & tidy, box baggage trailer, and always book & pay for an awning pitch, in order that our small trailer fits within our pitch. - However, when we arrived on site, I was informed by a warden that trailers were not permitted.
Over the years, we have stayed on approximately 70 touring sites in the UK, and never encountered this policy anywhere else.
I contacted the site management, but unfortunately, any common sense or customer service was in short supply- and they refused point blank to offer any form of refund, either full or partial - merely repeating - ‘It’s in the terms & conditions’.
It took me some considerable trawling of the website to find, buried away towards the end of the T&C’s - just prior to ‘Hot Tub Guidelines’ - a sentence stating that jet skis or trailers are not permitted on site (is that jet ski trailers, or baggage trailers ?).
Now admittedly, this is my error - but any ethical form of customer service or common sense by this company, was completely lacking, and we had to leave, minus our hard earned money.

Excellent site, spotless toilets.
Facilities a little lacking although plenty of walks & superb Meals @ the Commercial Hotel with LIVE music to boot.
Yep, would recommend & stay again.
Surrounding area really great for walking & cycling, also horse riding 20 mins to Ballater & surrounding hills
A very good base for all activities.
Highly recommended.

It’s our first trip in a motor home so it was such a pleasure to stay here. I had to ask
How to use the disposal area and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful.
The toilet block was very clean with big cubicles with plenty of space to change and hang stuff.
Lovely quiet site, we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights just chilling and getting used to our new motorhome.

Just a one night stop over on our way back to Edinburgh.
Toilet/shower block was spotless.
Pitch had everything we needed but didn’t use anything else on site.

Excellent, clean site within easy reach of Aberdeen and surrounding areas. Spacious pitches with superb, clean toilet block.
There is a lovely playroom with a pool table, sofas with tv. My only issue with this was kids being left unsupervised to take water ballons into playroom and climbing over the sofas and pool table.
The warden had to tell them a few times to keep water away from facilities. How hard is it for adults in the seasonal pitch across from playroom to keep an eye on their kids?
We would stay here again in a heartbeat-Great site!

Nice clean well kept site, Showers are large, and plenty room to manoeuvre.
The pitches are not overcrowded and separated we, with hedge for a bit more privacy.

We stayed in the Pods as a family, it was brilliant, great size, right next to the duck pond and park and we all had a great time.
Park is quite which we liked and the toilet amenities are great.
The family bathroom came in hand when traveling with kids.
We had our dog and good walks for her too.
We will definitely be back.

A great central camp site very handy for Aberdeen and surrounding areas,
The Deeside way is also very close ideal for walking and cycling 🚴🏼♀️,
The site has been upgraded to a very high standard indeed.

Stayed here with limited facilities available due to Coronavirus
Did not miss anything
The internet check in worked really well along with the automatic number plate recognition barrier
The fully serviced pitches were the best I have ever used with water and waste positioning perfect for modern caravan design
The reduced price was amazing
Overall the site is superbly maintained with excellent play facilities for children
I would not hesitate to visit this location again and would thoroughly recommend it
