Just to reiterate what others have said - this site is great - clean facilities, good shop and you can order papers, rolls and butteries (these are lovely - you get them in Aberdeenshire). The games room is good as it has a pool table and table tennis table - our kids really liked that as it's a bit different. No problem getting here - just look on the map - it's marked and you turn right from the B road and it's on your left (if coming from the south!). The toilets are on a code so you need to remember it!

It was third place on our road trip. Our advice: don't try to go there with directions from google-maps. They will take you somewhere to the city centre of Aberdeen.
Facilities were very good, staff very friendly. Good for longer stay with children.

What a great site. Freindly welcome at reception. Shop stocked with all kinds of stuff including toys for a three year old(good job). We were able to order papers for next day. We had a hard standing pitch with electric hook, drainage and water. There was a small playpark a duck pound and a games room for the kids. There was a tv room and a laundry. The shower/toilet block was clean and tidy. The showers were warm and the curtain was changed daily. Everything was never more than a minutes walk away.
There was a pub restaurant next to the site we never went but if you showed your campsite receipt you got 10% off your bill. Story book glen is half a mile away. The kids loved it and if you wanted you could spend the whole day there. Aberdeen centre was only ten minutes away so plenty of shops.
I can honestly say I will be going back and anyone else going will not be disappointed. To anyone travelling along the A9077 from Aberdeen to the site be wary the turning is on the right just after a bend so be careful.
Hope this helps someone out.

Having left a caravan site where we had received unexplained hostile treatment we were greatly relieved to be warmly welcomed on our arrival to Deeside Holiday Park.
The facilities are excellent and well organised. The site has a large laundry room with efficient washers and tumble dryers. The shower & toilet block is modern, bright and airy & is cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis by very pleasant staff. Entry to the blocks requires the code for the touch pad therefore security is also great. Unlike many sites the light switches can be switched on and off as needed, therefore no stumbling around in the dark!
Pleasingly the park has recycling facilities and all skips /chemical disposal areas are well lanscaped.
This is a large site yet the landscaping and design gives it a peaceful & relaxing setting. The children's park has a range of stimulating play equipment & there is a lovely duck pond attracting wildlife. We had predicted that the site would be noisy due to the fact that our plot was next to the children's park, however we were very pleasantly suprised to find that the park was extremely quiet.
The facilities in nearby Peterculter are super, including everything you could possibly need. A short stroll from the site is a pub which serves lovely food and has an interesting varied menu. For those staying at the site 10% discount is offered, however during our visit we were having such a greattime that we forgot to use the voucher!
To summarise Deeside Park is undoubtedly the best park we have visited.

This is a great site with a mixture of pine lodges, statics, caravans, camper vans, and of course tents.Well laid out! Good facilities with games/TV room( shuts at 2200), and usual facilities including shop. Great for children!
On this occasion I was solo with small tent and scooter.Pitch was excellent. I paid £6.00 per night( bargain) and could have had 7 nights for 6. No hiking up the fees over the Easter period( Camping and Caravanning Club take note!)
Camping is always a compromise but there was one negative. It has a "quiet policy" after 2300 hrs .In fact there were vehicles on the go until after 0100 and again before 0600 the next morning. Pity that. Overall this is a site I will return to again and again! And it's open all year!

We have stayed at this site several times, and plan to go back next month. It's lovely and clean with bright & warm shower blocks (key access). There's a small play park, duck pond (fenced) and games room (pool table, sofas, TV) which is VERY handy in rainy weather if you're in a tent. Laundry & dish-washing facilities, also outdoor drying area. The park is a mixture of van, tents and statics. The park is on low ground and the temp can really drop at night, even in August, so take your cosy gear! There is a pub serving food adjacent to the park, and nice walks beside the River Dee. On-site shop sells basics. About 20 mins outside Aberdeen and a huge Asda. Two lovely castles nearby - Crathes & Drum - which are well worth the visit.
