Excellent facilities, They have just opened up a new family shower and toilet facilities, These are good showers although you pay 20p for 4 min but are worth it.
Washing machines and dryers are available.
A lovely part of the country ideally placed for driving into Aberdeen but far enough from the hustle and bustle.
Been back twice and going to visit later on this yer

Visited Deeside for 1 night at the start of December. On arrival the road and stairs down to the main reception was like a sheet of ice due to the recent cold weather resulting in me slipping and landing flat on my back much to the amusement of my wife! When I informed the woman on reception she was not very interested.
The site is a mix of statics, holiday lodges and seasonal caravans. Toilet block was spotless and has music playing which is a nice touch. Never really had time to explore the local area as just an over night stop but can highly recommend the old mill in next door for drinks or a meal lovely warm place to eat and drink. And 10% off for campers which is always a bonus

We have been coming to this great site frequently for the last few years, as a couple, with friends, and occasionally with three young grandchildren. The site has impressed us so much that we have now bought a static caravan as well because the location is perfect for the many activities in Deeside and Aberdeenshire. The buses run every ten mins into the centre of Aberdeen from over the bridge, the Deeside cycle route is over the bridge, the old mill inn hotel at the end of the site serves fabulous food. There are a few good carry out eating places in the village of peterculter. Ardoe house hotel about two miles towards Aberdeen has great leisure and spa facilities. There are also many walks and superb golf courses very nearby.
The site has a games room and play park for children and is not too big ensuring you can keep a watchful eye on them. Staff are always on hand to help and constantly work hard to maintain a high standard. Love this site for adults and children. Great place to escape for a break.

This is one of very best sites we have used. The check in was friendly and the site staff were efficient and kept the whole area very clean and tidy. We thought the price £20 a night to be very fair for a fully serviced site. We did not have an awning and our mixed grass/hardstanding pitch was of adequate size for our needs. The toilet block was exceptionally clean and the water always lovely and warm.

Stayed here for 3 nights for my son's birthday. We were pitched right by the duck pond. It was lovely to sit and eat at our table looking out at the ducks!
The site itself is lovely, the toilet blocks were modern and clean, and had radio playing 24 hours a day (quite comforting in the middle of the night actually, though slightly too loud!).
The entertainment room was brilliant, had a TV and videos, a pool table, some arcade games, etc. Kept the kids occupied for quite a while. There's also a great playpark.
My only gripe really was that it's quite noisy. Everything is very close together and pitches are quite small. We actually would've moved over a pitch to the end one but the ground was waterlogged so had to pitch right beside a group of adults that sat up drinking and laughing well into the early hours. Don't begrudge them having a good time, but I do feel maybe they could take out a pitch or two and give everyone a wee bit more space.

Lovely site very clean nice friendly staff. We booked fully serviced hard standing.
The hard standing is about 12ft wide. I ask how to fit 7ft caravan 7ft awning and a jeep to fit into the pitch. The other half was grass which flooded during the night of heavy rain.
Mostly site is used as mobile home for people to travel back and forward to the oil industry.
Very good for children. We enjoyed our stay but was overpriced for fully serviced site

This is a super site,
Close to Aberdeen and big shops but far enough away to feel remote, very nice countryside just around the corner.
Tidy site with excellent flat pitches,
Very clean toilets and good showers
Good play area/shed for kids of all ages,
Well equipped friendly reception,
Very local hotel/pub just off the site and accessible by a short walk through the side.
This site just gets better and better, we have been on it several times over a few years and will be there later this years again.

It is unfortunate that we came here after visiting Linwater near Edinburgh as our first impressions weren't too good. But actually it is a good site, it's just Linwater was SO good.
We knew the area as we have many relatives living nearby, including nearby Peterculter. Several of our relatives visited the site and were amazed as the site is much larger than anyone thought possible between the road and the river Dee.
We had a tent pitch with EHU, and the tent pitches seemed a little haphazard. We had a spot right next to the duck pond (it is safely fenced off), a little too close to the playpark but that suited our 9yr old.
The toilet/shower block were fine and regularly cleaned. There's a separate dishwashing / laundry block - no washing up outdoors here.
During our stay, one night we had very heavy rain for most of the night, and in the morning, a couple of tents had been flooded out, we were fine as where we were pitched was slightly higher.
Many of the static caravan / chalets have been raised up, maybe the tent pitches need a little raising too.
It's a handy site for Aberdeen, Stonehaven (nice place) and for visiting Balmoral etc.
Still amazed that I've driven past this place so many times thinking there must only be space for a handful of caravans.

We spent 4 days at this site with our grandchildren. We were impressed with the facilities for children.
The play area has swings, climbing ropes and suitable trees to climb for older children, and other smaller activities and a sandpit for younger children.
The games rooms with table tennis, snooker table, games machine and TV kept our 10 year old well occupied when the sun went down. The toilet and shower facilities are well placed in the middle of the site and are clean and well maintained.
The pitches for tents around the pond area are well placed to keep an eye on the children in the playarea.
Peterculter a short distance away is well served with shops to meet campers needs and we especially enjoyed the carry out from the Jumbo Takeaway.
Disappointingly the meal at the Old Mill Inn next door was a bit of a disaster, one of our party left without eating after his starter arrived after we had finished ours and the main course didn't arrive at all -reason given 'the waiters pen ran out of ink when taking the order'! Quality of food was poor.
We have used this camp site many times before and will certainly return again

Arrived on a sunny Sunday afternoon and checked in with a friendly woman, as there was no other tents we had our pick- we chose a pitch beside a pond BAD MISTAKE eaten alive by midges! BUT because there were no others camping we picked up the tent the following day and moved it-much better.
The site is VERY well maintained, and VERY clean. There is a large indoor area with games, books and a tv should the weather turn nasty, and also a good play area for the kids. It is a peaceful site and only a 10 minute drive from Aberdeen. A nice pub is at the end of the site. Will definitely return EXCELLENT :)
