Great place to camp with flat land!
Everything you need, hot shower block, toilets, washing up stations and even a shared fridge and freezer which was handy.
Owner very relaxed and friendly.
Ideal location to explore Purbeck too.

This was a lovely site, in a quiet location that is well maintained.
The owner was very friendly & even leant us a hook up cable as we forgot ours.
We liked the fact that recycling was important to the owner.
We will definitely return.

Very nice place suitable to explore the area but not crowed like many other place (We were there for the end of May Bank holiday).
It is located in a very quite place but still very close to everything you could possibly need.
The owner is very nice and ready to help. The big garden is just perfect for children to socialize and play together.
Toilets were upgraded and new.
It would be better if there was a dedicated area for children, but that will be the cherry on the cake

What a gem of a site! A little slice of Dorset heaven, not far from the main road. A lovely place to enjoy a campfire and take in the enormous skies which, as city dwellers, we never see at home.
If you are looking for 5* facilities, this isn't the site for you, as these are very basic and situated in a converted horsebox. However, they are perfectly adequate and there is a plentiful supply of hot water, plus they are cleaned several times a day.
The site isn't overcrowded in any way, with plenty of space to pitch larger units, and prices vary depending on what you have. It was £25 per night for our enormous tent with hook-up, and we had a trailer as well! Very reasonable compared to other similar sites.
Paul, the owner, is very friendly and can't do enough to help you - we saw him helping with caravans, he loaned us an extra long ehu cable, he went round the campsite daily checking that everyone was ok. He is also happy to share his local knowledge and to recommend places to visit.
This site has a lovely, relaxed, family atmosphere. Don't come here if you want silence and children that are seen and not heard. Here, kids are encouraged to be kids, and ball games and cycling are allowed.
The site is beautifully flat and the ground drainage is amazing. During a torrential storm, the roads flooded but the site was dry as a bone within minutes!
The only blot on the landscape for us, were the larger groups that were partying well into the early hours of the morning but even this wasn't much of an inconvenience.
Many of the other campers told us that they return to this site year after year and I can see why! We will definitely be back!
Highly recommended.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at Mill Paddock campsite and we found it to be a great campsite, the pitches are not marked out but very spacious and level (good drainage too which is a massive plus when you arrive in torrential downpour!)
The owner Paul is really lovely and very helpful. Campfires and bbqs are allowed and Paul has these available to hire if you don’t have your own which is a massive plus. Very good tips on where to visit in the area.
The campsite has all the facilities you would need at no extra cost, a covered washing area with hot water and fridge freezer. There are separate toilets and showers for men and women. The showers are basic and can be a little cosy as two in the same room but they get the job done!
Location is spot on for exploring Dorset, really short drive to Lulworth cove, Durdle Door and some gorgeous beaches.
We would definitely recommend the campsite and we will stay again.

Great site, nice flat pitches and the fire pits for hire are a really nice touch. The host Paul is really friendly and helpful.
Shower block is basic and could do with a refresh but has everything you need.

Mill Paddock is a fantastic campsite. It was just what we were looking for. You get a sense of how relaxed the site is as soon as you arrive.
The pitches are large and there is plenty of room to play ball games with your children. It was a breath of fresh air to see our young children have the freedom to ride their bikes and play with their new friends in the treehouse and on the swing.
The owner is really friendly and makes you feel at home. It was no bother to him to help us when we had a problem with our caravan.
The location is superb with a lovely river opposite that our children enjoyed playing in.
We are already looking at dates to book again for next year.
I highly recommend this campsite.
