 We have just arrived home from Dorset and had a wonderful few days there. We left it late to book a campsite and many I contacted were full, but we were very lucky to arrive at Mill Paddock and find a huge empty field!
We pitched our tent and were later greeted by the very friendly owner who made us feel very welcome.
The field was flat and sheltered, the toilets were clean, the showers were very hot, unlimited time, and FREE! Maybe I should keep that quiet as it's too good to be true.
The site did get busier over the weekend, but never felt crowded, and the facilities were ample for everyone.
All I would say is that we needed more shade, as it was so hot and sunny, but the evenings were nice and cool and we did have some shade then.
A big thank you to Mrs Whitmarsh for having us, and freezing our ice packs, and delivering them in the morning.
I would certainly go back there, and would recommend anyone to stay there.
