Our ideal campsite - the best one we've been to in years!
The site is great - rural, peaceful, level and sheltered. The toilets and showers are clean and work. There is a fridge/ freezer, a couple of washing up stations, and water/ waste facilities.
There is a stream/river nearby for the children to play in, and a treehouse and swing to keep them entertained on site.
The owner, Paul, is very friendly and laid back, and allowed us to spread out with all our stuff, and play with our 4 children and 2 dogs on the field.
Paul was around every day, and gave useful information on places to visit. We could also text him if needed.
We would absolutely recommend this campsite, and would definitely come back.

An excellent flat site and therefore perfect for tents.
The electric hook ups are well spread out so there is no need to be on top of each other.
Clean and well maintained facilities

This was an amazing break away for us, we were 3 adults and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Within easy reach of the beach and coastal towns.
The hosts were amazing making sure we had everything we needed.
The on site facilities were new in March and cleaned thoroughly everyday.
Wonderful value for money, we were so thrilled we have already booked to come back and stay again.

Owner was very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable of the local area for places to go and visit. He was very accommodating to make our stay as easy as possible as I was in a wheelchair and used crutches, placed our tent as close to facilities as possible and provided a chair for the shower.
Camp site situated in great location, very central to lots of great and beautiful places. Good value for money.
Would stay here again.
Sign could be bigger to find campsite as wasn’t clear

Pretty, small, secluded site with pony and sheep in adjacent field and farmer gave us a brush to groom the pony.
Nice for kids, a flat, mowed field with tyre swing, football goal and tractor to climb on in the middle (which our 7yr old fell off and broke his arm).
Highlight was our dog could be off lead, the whole time, our pitch was spacious and farmer very flexible regarding pack away time and extending our stay. Also providing us an electric point to recharge phones after day 5.
Low light was the shower / washing facility. One small sink in ladies toilet to wash hands, hot water was scorching hot so could only really use cold. Same for showers (two push button showers in same cubicle which were exceptionally small and too hot to use comfortably.
Farmer’s dog does the morning rounds and liked to cock it’s leg up our chairs and steal out dog’s ball - can be a little possessive of toys so not great for kids to play with. Overall it’s a nice site with friendly farmer, if you have a dog and showering is not your thing it is a nice option.
Toilets were ok and never a queue. There is a nearby site which will deliver pizzas and other meals, a Spar in Wool village, a Chinese takeaway and a lovely bakery. Other than that you need to go elsewhere for restaurants.

Lovely flat site with good facilities.
Expected it to be busier as it was the first weekend of the school holidays, so very relaxing. Based on the Hardy Way, although overgrown.
Never found the 13th Century Church, but able to walk the dog towards the river.
Shame no Pub or shop within walking distance.
Lots to do a short drive away: Walled Garden at Moreton, Tyneham Village (When open), Lawrence of Arabia Trail.

Lovely peaceful site in rural Dorset. Well maintained level firm grass area surrounded by trees and hedges.
Electric hookup, toilet / shower facilities, chemical toilet waste disposal, but no grey water waste disposal.
Access difficult for large units from A352 but ok if approached from the A351 Wareham to Corfe castle A351 and turning off at Stoborough.
Many nice walks directly from camp site and easy access by car to the Purbeck coast

Very quiet pleasant site.
Ideal if you want to be away from main tourist areas. Narrow single track roads on approach.
Excellent local walks: Wool cross country in 40mins.
Clean modern facilities - including hot showers.
Friendly relaxed service. Plenty of space while we were there even though it was half-term in June.
No on site shop.
Would happily return.
