We stayed here for the bank holiday weekend, lovely little site right next to the river, nice hard standing pitches with water and waste on the pitch. The site is right on the banks of the river which was lovely to watch the boats going past.

The village of bredon which the site is in is beautiful, plenty of places to walk around and 2 pubs as well as a little shop. There is also an excellent playground on the outskirts of the village which the children in our party all loved. (age range from 2 to 14 years) We did walk into Tewkesbury which is a about 4 miles however its quite a busy road and not all of it has a pavement.

There is a large morrisons just outside of Tewkesbury and plenty of shops in the town for provisions. There is also a caravan accessory shop about 6 miles from the site on the road towards Evesham,

The owners are extremely friendly and very helpful too.

There are a few negative things about the site, the toilet block is a bit dated, the light fitting in the shower was hanging down and the knob came off the door handle, it just seems a bit tired although was clean. There was also no washing up area, The motorway is quite noisy, the best way to describe it is you can see the lorries but can't quite read the writing on them. The main thing that did let the site down for us though was the price, the basic £18 for the pitch +2 people is about right, however for us with kids and dogs and an awning it came out at £25 a night, which in my opinion is way more than the actual site is worth bearing in mind they charge for dogs (although no dog walk on site so what are you paying for ?) and charging for kids (no play area on site), charging for awnings (even though all pitches are the same size)

Having said that we may return in the future, maybe if they re vamp the toilet block my opinion of the price may be more justified.

We did have a lovely weekend, I think if there are just 2 of you, no dog and don't put up an awning its worth the money.

This wonderful little site is just a few minutes away from the M5, so was ideal for an overnight stop on our way down to Cornwall.

The access road is quite narrow, but when you get to the end you are faced with a view of the River Avon, with numerous little boats moored alongside the site. All the pitches are facing the river, some are a bit tight, but wasn't a problem for just one night.

The toilet block was bit dated, but spotless and we were asked for a £10 deposit for the gate and toilet block keys which we got back the next morning.

There is a small park at the side for walking the dogs, and there are 2 pubs in the village a 5 minute walk away that serve food. We went to the one which was also a Chinese restaurant and takeaway! It was dog friendly, the food was great and had live music.

Everyone was so friendly, would stay here again.

Little Meadow is such an attractive site and you look out onto the river - boats, ducks (who come round in the morning for their breakfast) and swans. I was on my own and broke down at this site's gate. It was Sunday morning, the day before bank holiday. On top of that I had run out of gaz, but thought I could get some when I arrived. However, Little Meadow stocked Calor gas. Not only did the owner try to help organise my garage repair, as I could not drive my vehicle until it was done, he went into Tewkesbury and returned with some gaz for me. He and his wife were so helpful and friendly, as were the other campers. I made a couple of new friends during my three-day stay. Indian and Chinese restaurants will deliver to the site and the pubs are nice and also dog-friendly. You'll have fun at this site and you'll also enjoy the surrounding area. Half-way along the Bredon to Tewkesbury road, at the traffic lights, turn left and there is a small parade of shops outside of which you can park and one of which is a launderette. Tewkesbury is delightful to visit. I will definitely return to Little Meadow in the future.

We have returned here many times. Location is excellent situated right on the river bank.

Tewkesbury is easily accessible by car. There is a lovely typical country pub at the top of the hill which is great to eat at.

The site is well maintained and unlike larger sites there is a real sense of community with so many of the caravanners been regulars, on our visits we are made to feel most welcome by the owners.

Wonderful little site right on the on the River Avon. Friendly owners, limited but very good facilities and a wonderful setting.

Wildlife abounds, extremely peaceful (despite being able to see the motorway (M5) from the site) and within walking distance of two pubs.

There is even an Indian in Tewkesbury that will deliver to the site should you wish

This is a real gem if you like peace and quiet and wonderful scenery - we will definitely be back.

We stayed here for one night on our travels up to Scotland from Devon and again for one night on our return.

Wonderful little site, right on the river with good, clean toilet and shower facilities.

Good sized level pitches with water and waste on each pitch. Very friendly and helpful owners.

Site is 10 mins from Motorway so is a good stop off for longer journies. Motorway is visible from site but did not spoil our enjoyment as far enough not to be able to hear it.

Couple of pubs within walking distance and some great dog walks locally.

We would definitely stay again!

Stayed here recently. Mixed feelings about the site; it was easy to find, and seemed ideally located alongside the river. We were lucky in that the rain didn't materialise as much as promised! The site is all fully serviced pitches and is very small.

Local Spar is within 10 minutes, with a bus stop nearby for trips to Tewkesbury. Be warned - the bus is sometimes early! The walk to Tewkesbury is not ideal as it runs along a very busy main road.

Elaine, the owner was very helpful and friendly. Other visitors seemed to either have boats moored there or be visiting people who had boats.

However, the site certainly needs updating, as others have said. No dog walk on site, but a lovely walk through fields is not too far away. The toilet block is clean but very old. The shower (1)is hot but the shower mat needs binning urgently! The mop and bucket looked seriously gross - I didn't fancy using the mop after showering! More used to Caravan Club sites, I tend to expect pretty spotless facilities.

Given all that, we enjoyed our stay but wouldn't want to stay there again.

Quite a nice small site, clean facilities, toilets, shower, washbasins, all pitches have connected water, electric and waste water drain, chemical toilet waste short walk behind toilet block. Very welcoming owners and helpful if you have forgotten something. Spar shop with post office in village, two pubs if you wish to eat out, lovely walks, if energetic, but if you wish to relax just the place watch the boats go by, or do a spot of fishing, would recommend this site to family and friends.

Stayed here last summer with friends and their daughter on my parents recommendation and we both decided to leave the caravans, until the following weekend for a reasonable fee as we loved it so much.

The site is run by a lovely couple Elaine and her husband. Who are very friendly and always happy to help.

The site is in a beautiful location and easy to find with an idyllic spot, its so peaceful with the boats gliding past right in front of you along the river.

Every pitch has a River view as each pitch is staggered and are Super pitches which is fantastic fo rus as we have an onboard water tank. The little jettys with the small boats in front make prime location for my husband and our friend to take up a spot of fishing. Whilst the girls enjoyed a glass of wine in the peaceful surroundings.

Children are also welcome our friends daughter thoroughly enjoyed making friends with other children on the site and fishing. If they had a small park this would be perfect.

Dog friendly site as well, few mins walk, out the site gate to the left, up the hill, takes you to a woodland walk then joins the rivers edge and you can walk for miles through fields. Careful to keep dogs on leads as there is sheep in the fields.

Boats can also more at this site unsure on cost.

Toilet and Shower block are clean and tidy. They are a little dated but that isnt an issue. Cleanliness is the main thing and this is perfect. Two toilets and one shower in the ladies and I never had to queue and plenty of hot water.

The shop in the town is a 2min walk has all the essentials and Tewkesbury is a 5 min drive away, its a lovely bustling little town with a small market on Saturdays. We also found an enormous carboot sale in Cheltenham race course approx 10mins away selling new and old, I think this was on the Sunday, which was lovely to wander around.

Definitely worth a visit, my parents recommended as its their favourite site and I have to agree I think its ours too, something for everyone.

Have booked to stay this Easter bank holiday with our friends again. Cant wait!

I stayed at this great site for a week in July 2011. It's only a small site with 22 pitches, but each one is on hardstanding and each has it's own water and waste. Although these are fully serviced pitches, mine had the waste positioned at the far front corner of our pitch so I wasn't able to use the facility due to the distance. Also be aware that you'll probably need additional connector's for the water as it's simply a section of flexible pipe. Again I couldn't use this.

The toilet block, which is very clean, has 2 toilets for the men (can't comment on the ladies, sorry) and 1 shower. Although the facilities seem small, there was never any waiting for the shower. Don't expect a nice powerful shower though as you'll be disappointed, it's more of a steady trickle but it is piping hot!

It's a very quiet site, which I enjoyed, but there are no facilities for children, unless they like to fish in the Avon which is merely 5 meters from most of the pitches that face the river. They do sell permits from the site office which I think are about £3 per day.

Over the river are beautiful views of fields and hills. The M5 motorway is also in the distance and although it can be seen and heard I didn't find it too intrusive or noisy.

The well stocked Spar shop is only a 5 min walk, as is the nearest Pub. There's also another Pub in the village that serves Chinese food in it's restaurant.

Please be aware that you will have to reverse on to all pitches and unless you're good at reversing, or have a caravan mover, you may find yourself making several attempts to get your unit in position due to the narrow gravel road in front of each pitch. Don't be put off though as plenty of help is available from the site owners.

This truly is a lovely site and if you're after peace and quite and simply want to watch the world go by, there can't be many better than this.

Highly recommended and I've already booked to return.
