We were looking for a site to offer my family and my Sister's a one night stay as we were fairly new to touring as wanted to try out our new vans. The owners were exceptionally helpful over the telephone whilst booking and managed to accommodate us. The site is truly beautiful, with the river right upon you and we watched the sun setting and listened to the church bells ringing whilst enjoying a bbq. The owners were amazing, friendly and informative about the pubs in the area (as we have children). Could not recommend this site highly enough.
Kids loved it being close to the water and watching the fisherman. Very family friendly.

What a find, if you like peace and tranquillity, this site is for you. Right on the river Avon ,I mean 30 feet from rivers edge. Swans and ducks came up to our pitch, wanting some bread. My husband fed the Swan, only to be attacked by him. (Such a Laugh). You can sit and watch the barges go by. All pitches are hard standing with your own water tap, plus waste disposal. The toilet block has 2/3 toilets in each. There is only one shower in the gents and one in the ladies. They are kept very clean. But because we had our own water on pitch I was able to use my shower in the camper. Which was great.
The owners are superb, so friendly, and helpful. The best. There are two pubs just five minutes up the road, the site owners will explain how to get there. Will definitely go back.

Probably the best site we have ever stayed at!
Elaine and Paul are the nicest of people and make you feel very welcome whilst staying at their beautiful site. The location is perfect with lovely views over the river, and the village of Bredon is lovely too-thatched cottages, nice walks, a convenient local Spar for all of those last minute needs and a local pub.
Weather for us was not the best, but I have to say that didn't spoil our enjoyment at all (nor did the fact that our engine blew up on the way there and we were without a car for the rest of our stay!). The location itself and the friendliness of the owners (not forgetting the lovely, charming Graham)and other people who were staying at the same time as us was exceptional and we cannot express our gratitude enough to the people that offered us assistance during our stay.
We will most definitely be regular visitors to this site(as soon as we get a new tow car)and would thoroughly recommend this site to others.(But make sure you leave room for us because we're already itching to go again).

Stayed at Little Meadow River Park site for a weekend break. What a lovely site. All pitches are gravel hardstanding and all have a direct view of the river. We ourselves (my Husband & I and our two dogs) had a lovely pitch which was literally a stones throw (about 12 metres) from the actual riverbank itself. We were often visited by a family of ducks, and witnessed on several occasions a resident goose and her adorable goslings, both on the riverbank and river itself. We were given a very warm welcome on arrival by the owners, Elaine & Paul - who really could not have been more welcoming. The site itself is very well laid out and has easy access through the pretty village of Bredon. There is a pretty village thatched roof pub within 10 minutes walking distance, and a very handy Spar shop within equal walking distance. This site is very peaceful and quiet, and is in a simply beautiful location. The toilet / shower block is kept clean and tidy. The Ladies toilet block houses three toilets, two wash basins and a shower. Liquid soap, toilet rolls and air freshener are provided. The shower is very spacious, with a large private 'dry area' with bench and hooks to hang clothes etc. The shower itself is not on a timer (which is a refreshing change we felt) and was nice and hot. A shower curtain separates the cubicle from the 'dry area'. My Husband advises that the Gent's area houses two toilets, two urinals, two washbasins and shower (as per Ladies) The shower facilities we felt were 'adequate' but would maybe benefit from modernisation. Nonetheless, no complaints from us. My Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and spent two nights at this lovely riverside location, sipping wine and watching passing barges and riverboats as the sun set across the river and surrounding fields - simply stunning. We could not really rate 'child friendliness' as just two of us - no children. We will definitely be a regular visitor to this site - just try and keep us away!

Wonderful! - I only hope this review does not encourage too many caravans too use this site just when I want to pop down the M5 for my long and short stays. Yes I'm selfish but if you want a clean, relaxed site with full service, a river view (including boats passing by and moorings on your doorstep) friendly owners, a pretty village with pub and all of this 10 minutes off Junction 9 of the M5 plus if you love walking either alongside a river or through the countryside, this site is a must. We have booked again to go for 5 days at the end of May and the forecast is sunny - by the way I forgot to mention the site enjoys views to the south-west and the sunset is terrific! Ah! a glass of wine, tranquil surroundings, a view with something always taking place, ducks, swans and an occasional heron, well I'm relaxing just thinking about it. We have two small dogs, a fourteen year old 'well behaved boy' (he thinks it's a chilled place as long as he has his Nintendo DSi, DVD's and the chance of a fourteen year girl in the caravan next door). To conclude you must try it, but please telephone first as there are only 22 spots all with hard standing and room for your awning. It's a great site and this is the first time I have ever bothered to recommend a place. Go there, enjoy but not too often as I need my booking to be accepted not refused because you have already booked. :)

We visited Little Meadow recently and had a lovely weekend 'getting away from it all'. Elaine & Paul (the Owners) were very kind and helpful, meeting us at the gate and explaining where everything was.
The site is situated beneath the village of Bredon alongside the River Avon where the views are stunning. (If you are very careful) when travelling south on the M5 just past Strensham Services (J8), look left as you go down the hill and you will see the small site under the church spire in the village.
Each pitch is fully serviced and are all hard standing. Once 'unhooked' you are asked to park your vehicles away from the pitch (about 50 yards), this protects the immaculately grassed areas in between the pitches and did not cause us any hardship at all. Getting to the site takes concentration, care and consideration for the local population is advised. The only way in is through the village where the lane is narrow.
The toilet block and showers are clean and tidy but don't expect too much. Usual chemical emptying point at the rear are standard.
They are not 'Gold Standard or Award winning' but the owners did suffer desperately during the 2007 & 2008 floods so it will take time to get them there.
Would I recommend it to anybody else? You bet!
Will we go again? Most definitely!

We stayed here over the may day bank holiday weekend for 3 nights.
If its peace quiet and tranquillity your looking for, this is the site for you.
I have 2 kids 12 & 7. Yeh there's not a lot for them to do but just enough room to get the mini badminton going amongst other games.
Set by the river, on a sunny day it's very very pleasant.
Toilet block could do with some work but it does its job.Shower toilet. There not the best I've seen and certainly not the worst either.
The owners are extremely nice & helpful.
Nice village within walking distance with 2 good pubs.Royal oak my fave and a well stocked local spar.
Great base to do the Cotwolds. We did Bourton, Stow & Moreton all 1/2 hour away.
All in all a little gem I think you'll find.

Visited this site on bank holiday w/end. This site is an excellent base for Tewkesbury, not a good site for small children (mine are 6 & 2) as there is no playground etc. The owners Paul and elaine are the most helpful people. The pitches are well spaced and toilets clean( but with out lighting at night). We would definitely use again.

A group of us have just returned from this site. The owners are lovely and very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The site is set in a quaint village close to local amenities. The pitches overlook the river which also has boat moorings. A fantastic quiet and relaxing family site. The site offers toilet and shower facilities which were clean and tidy.
