Really nice, spacious, flat site with friendly owners.
Bathrooms clean and basic but could get quite overloaded if busy.
Within very easy reach of Cheddar and the gorge and a reasonable walk fro nice pubs in Axbridge’s medieval square.

A very simple site based in n a perfect spot.
Nice and close to cheddar either by foot or by car. Plenty to do either in the village and the gorge or walking around the mendips.
Basic facilities, but well looked after and clean!
Have stayed several times before camping and this was the first time in the van, and will be again. Site owners very helpful and showed us to our pitch.
Plenty of space in the camping field for kids to run about.

Owners very helpful with booking and giving directions.
Very peaceful site. EHU and good waste disposal was all we needed and exactly what we got.
Will definitely go back again

I really liked this site. Great location, nice and quiet, and the fields were really flat and well kept.
Shower and toilet facilities are pretty basic, but all working well so what more do you need ?
I got to choose where to park my VW van and hook up to the electric.
The owners are nice and laid back and I would definitely go back there.

Nice quiet site
Great for the Strawberry trail. only 10 min cycle ride to Cheddar and if you go the other way you go past Thatchers cider orchards and shop
Only down side was the poor dog that kept barking, it seemed to be kept in a tin shed but don’t let it put you off.
We will be back.

We stayed for 2 nights in September. The wc/showers not available due to COVID, but we expected this and the site owner informed us on booking the site.
The site is between Axminster and Cheddar with access to the Strawberry line and Cheddar reservoir, which makes it easier to cycle either direction. If cycling, there are 2 kissing gates to lift the bike over, but very rewarding.
The site was very quiet, and we would stay again.

Good location, 5 mins walk from Cheddar Reservoir and within walking distance of Cheddar Gorge.
Nice flat pitches that were a good size. Site was very peaceful.
Shower facilities quite basic and certainly not pristine, but plenty of hot water.
Good value, especially compared with nearby sites.

Great site no frills but good for the dog.
Within walking distance of Cheddar, we had our bikes so we cycled up the Strawberry line ( old railway ) not completely traffic free. Went in the Railway Inn at Yatton which we would recommend.
Would definitely return.

Good location but poor facilities. Needs money spent on a modern toilet block, better access and grass cut.
£17. 50 a night seemed pricey as we did not want to use the shower or toilet. Would happily pay £10 a night for the use of pitch and elec. We will not return.
