Booked in for a 3 night stay, directions easy to find. We were the only people on the site so we had total quiet and privacy which was wonderful (only other neighbours were the 3 Alpacas and the rabbits!). We pitched up on one of the upper fields which gave us a wonderful view over the moors and incredible sunrises and sunsets. Woke up one morning to the valley covered in mist. Clean shower and toilets, lovely site for those wanting peace and quiet and fantastic views.

My family & I stayed here for one night in August in a motorhome. Very reasonably priced. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The owners, Neil & Jo are so friendly & welcoming. The views were simply breathtaking over the Somerset levels. The site is small but quaint. There are some lovely horses, alpaca's & other small animals on site & the children enjoyed talking to them. Neil also has a Sea Harrier Jump Jet & was happy for visitors to take a look. A very nice touch! The toilets & showers were basic but very clean. Honesty box for showers - nice touch too! We found a telephone number for the local Indian restaurant & then ordered a takeaway. It was delivered on site within 45 minutes. This has to be up there in my top 10 campsites & one we would definitely return to in the future. Thank you Neil & Jo!

Fantastic views and very good value. £15 including EHU. The facilities are a little basic, portacabins with cladding to make them look nice. Showers are coin operated which docks a star as it's annoying. It's a farm site so has no play area or shop. There is plenty of space for kids to run around though. The site varies from almost flat to rather sloped. This means all pitches get a great view across the Levels.
If we are in the area again this will be top of my list to visit.

Stayed here for 1 night only, postcode took us straight to the site. View from our pitch was amazing **** could not get any better, really friendly owners, really nice quiet clean site. Toilets were clean, would go back again. No pubs or shops near by so stock up before you arrive I say will again the view

We have just returned from a lovely bank holiday weekend at this site. It's only a ten minute drive from the M5. It is in a beautiful location with beautiful views. The site is spacious and well kept. The pitches appeared to all be a good size. The toilet block is basic but tidy and cleaned regularly. The showers were fine and no queues whilst we were there. The farm animals were a lovely addition, and added to the farm-feel of the site. The owners were lovely and couldn't do enough to help. We visited Cheddar Gorge and Weston-super-mare whilst we were there. Cheddar Gorge is definitely a site to be seen, beautiful location yet still very quaint. Weston-super-mare was lovely, we stumbled across a vw rally on the sea front. The vw that were on display were amazing! Another good thing about WSM was that there was an area quite central on the beach that dogs were allowed all year round. The other place we visited was Wilkins Cider Farm, the cider was quite tasty as was the cheddar cheese and pickled onions. Would definitely go back to this site again. The only area that the site could improve on would be the addition of a small play area for the kids.

We planned on going to Wookey Hole for my birthday and was looking for a campsite near by. As a group with 9 kids between us, we were drawn to the Sea Harrier in the website photo and knew the boys would love it. Booking was very easy and we used sat nav to get there. It is a very quiet and rural place and about 20 mins from everything you may need. We were able to pick where we set up our tents and with the kids, chose near the toilet block and by the great open place for them to play. Everything there was clean and tidy and they even had a fridge/freezer to use for ice blocks and food and milk. The owners are lovely and couldn't be more helpful. We will definitely be booking again next year.

What a great place. The people are really lovely and I try to visit often.
The walk nearby are lovely and it is really nice to just get away from it all. The views are also spectacular and you can even get a glimpse of Glastonbury tor on a nice day.
The site is very well kept with nice grass and electric hook ups. The showers are clean and tidy and there is also a fridge/freezer you can use if its really hot.
They also have 3 pet alpacas you can visit and talk to as well. Over all a lovely spot. :-)

Just got back from my camping holiday at Castle Farm Camp Site.
I had such a great time, I look forward to going back.
The site is very clean, Shower room was fantastic and the shower was lovely and hot (Just what you need in the 1st week of January)
The toilets were clean and spacious
They had a fridge freezer but being January I did not need to use it, It was lovely and clean though.
Large sink for washing dishes which is always great.
Got to see Albert, Jeffrey and Percy - The Alpacas but they were not very talkative so could not find out which one was which.
The owners Neil and Jo were so friendly and welcoming, I could not have asked for a better camp site.
Have all the major supermarkets within 10 miles from the campsite and the petrol station in Street had the cheapest fuel prices I have seen so far.

Excellent rural campsite. Clean facilities, fridge freezer very useful. Friendly owners. The boys in the group really enjoyed looking at the harrier jump jet, whilst the girls enjoyed a glass of vino sat admiring the view.
We enjoyed cycling on the levels and enjoyed trips to Glastonbury, Wedmore and Street.

Well what a fantastic holiday third time at this site, and it just improves every year. The owners can not do enough for every guest, they always make sure everything is OK ie clean showers morning and night which are great for this sort of camp site. The two site dogs ruby and Rex the chickens and the alpacas are a fantastic asset to the site. Neil( reference boys toys )myself and the boys always love the visits to see the harrier and the new addition the working engine. Please do not go to this site if you prefer adults only, very family friendly site, but don't get me wrong myself and my wife would go alone without children. Places to visit Burnham a must cheddar gorge, you don't need to pay for the tour there is enough to do without that, and wells we found great for adults but our boys found it a little boring. And don't forget Weston super mere down on the pier fun all day, we stayed for eleven days sun in the day rained every night, did not get bored once what a fantastic holiday. Please remember very friendly site please feel free to speak to one another, if something bothers you.
