This campsite is brilliant, the best I have been to, and the waters are superb. Site owners make you feel great and at ease. I now have a tourer on site and will be visiting regularly. I booked in for five nights and ended up staying twelve, that's how impressed I was. Anxious to get back.

Mike and Sylvia are 2 of the nicest people you will meet.
Their campsite is spotlessly clean and maintained to a very high standard. The toilet and shower rooms are like home from home, always hot water and good pressure in the shower.
There is a fully equipped utility room with microwave, fridge washer and dryer for campers to use.
There are some lovely walks around the campsite.
Trench Farm is such a beautiful campsite.

Big thank you to Mike & Sylvia for a warm welcome at end of season weekend especially the invite to the Halloween Party. This was our first visit to Trench Farm.
This site is second to none. We will certainly be returning in the spring.

As one of many locals who use Trench Farm Caravan and Camping Site and who are worried that they may not be able to get a pitch in future, I feel that I need to put the record straight regarding this operation.
Firstly: The site is not excellent! it is absolutely fantastic! so there.
Secondly: Mike and Sylvia (site owners) are excellent! not true, they are brilliant and the best Karaoke Singers you ever heard.
Thirdly: Facilities are good!rubbish! but there again, you would wish that you had them at home.
Fourthly this is a peaceful and tranquil site! Ah ah, I once heard a blackbird singing at 09:30 in the morning. So there
Joking apart this is a most enjoyable, friendly and delightful site you would wish to visit and I cannot recommend it to highly.
If you are planning to visit Shropshire or North Wales/ Chester this site is for you.

1st class site, facilities faultless, hosts Mike & Sylvia a credit to their profession. Stayed 10 nights - wished it could have been longer. Nice to fish a normal fishery and not a commercial one.
Many interesting places within 20 miles to visit. None more so than the llangollen canal. Ellesmere some 3 miles away - an ideal place to go to do your shopping. Will definitely visit again.

This is a fantastic little campsite, not knowing anybody whose visited, we took a chance and were more than happy with what we found, the hubby had a fantastic time fishing while I chilled with our two little dogs. Toilet and showers are immaculate and hats off to the owners they're a credit, we've enjoyed this place so much we are now looking at buying a caravan to store there. Thanks a million this is one of the best and cleanest !

This is a site for rest and relaxation even if you enjoy fishing, 3 large pools fully stocked. The welcome you get from Sylvia and Mike is second to none, Sylvia is your first contact at the site and you will find yourself in very capable hands as to where to park your Motorhome, Caravan and even your tent as the field is huge, with limited hook-ups it would be advisable to book. The Toilet facilities are spotless and the showers have plenty of hot water. It is a quiet site but a short drive will get you into the town of Ellesmere with its array of shops and the magnificent Mere. This is a site we will be going back to again and again as it is great value for money.

This is a site that you will just want to keep on going back to. The welcome from Silvia (who is front of house) is so warm and she is so helpful. Mike is extremely pleasant too but he is always out on the tractor mowing the site or doing some other sort of maintenance. This is a very spaceous site with lovely tidy well kept fields. You are not on top of each other and there is plenty of room for a car and an awning and there are also wooden picnic tables scattered about and if you need one near your van Silvia or Mike will just get into the forklift and move it for you. The facilities are top of the range and there are spare everything in case you forget something. There is a disable shower and toilet, washing machine, tumble dryer, vanity area and fridges and freezers available too, you are not short of anything. The grounds are beautiful and the fishing ponds are also well maintained and enjoyable. What I also like is they don't pester you for payment, sometime during your stay Silvia will give you a knock to pay but there's no set time or pressure to pay upfront its just so relaxed. Give it a go you wont be disappointed at all.

Arrived Bank Holiday Monday for a 3 night stay, and although the weather was terrible the first day it did not stop me, my husband and the 2 dogs enjoying our stay at this site. The first time we have stayed here and we will definitely be back again. All the facilities, including toilet, shower, kitchen area which has everything you need if camping were excellent and very clean. Electric Hook up and water by our caravan
Very peaceful and not on top of each other, and very reasonably
Priced which included free fishing, this proved a challenge to my husband who did catch the small fish and one carp about 5lb but you cant expect to catch until you know how to fish the pool
Plenty of things to see and nice pubs around the surrounding areas
My two dogs really enjoyed themselves and lastly Sylvia and Mike who own Trent farm were so welcoming towards us
Thank you very much Julie & Alan Hall

What a gem of a site, it's our third visit here and we love it, it's a mixed site for caravans, motorhomes and tents.
It has hardstandings and grass fully serviced pitches, also grass with power and water, the site is also very spacious so you are not on top of each other.
The fishing is fantastic with three lakes 2 large and 1 small all free to site members, I have had Carp to 12 lb, Tench to 4 lb and Rainbow Trout to 2 lb, there is Rud in all 3 lakes.
Toilet block is new and always very clean, there is a big Kitchen with fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and twin sinks for washing up, it's the best equipped I have ever seen.
The real gem on this site is the owners they can't do enough for you, they will always try there very best to accommodate you, nothing is too much trouble for them, you can also get fresh eggs from the farm.
Hire a fire pit and logs one night and sit around your caravan or tent with friends having a few drinks and get the BBQ going, heaven.
We highly recommend this site and will be returning again it's a real Gem, there is a large Tesco in Ellesmere only 15 mins away, the Town has some nice pubs and there is also the Mere, we would recommend the Boat House on the Mere for food.
We'll done, you run a fabulous site it's a credit to all your hardwork, it's know wonder people keep on coming back again and again.
Many Thanks for the wonderful times my wife and I and our 2 Siamese Cats have had on our site, we shall be returning very soon.
