Had to stay here as it was the nearest site to our friends in Elland. We knew in advance that the pitch (hardstanding with ehu and water) would be £25 and thought this was very expensive! This year alone we have stayed on around 40 different sites and this is by far the most we have paid for a pitch. Although the toilet block was very clean it was extremely cold. Couldn't find the pot washing area (have since read that it is outside behind the shower block). There was no Wi-Fi on site at all. We were told that the dog walk was closed and that dogs were not allowed on the grass so we should walk to the main road and then walk down to the river bank from there - this would have been much too far for our elderly dog to manage. Our friends were visiting us that evening and we were charged an extra £1 for them to park their car on site. All in all, whilst it is a well kept site, the facilities no way justify the costs.

What can I say about Cherry Tree Farm.
This place was great as we have 2 young children lots of playing space and the facilities were great to, Will be booking again as it is very family friendly, both washroom and showers were spotless, very clean and we had a great and friendly welcome from John, this was the boys first camping trip and they loved it that much we are booking again but for a longer stay.
I would recommend this site to everyone I know beautiful views and nice and quiet

This is a lovely little site with amazing views situated in a peaceful location just out of the village of Greetland which as a co-op and Morrison's and all the food takeaways you require which deliver to the camp site. Owner of the site is very friendly and willing to advise where is good for the day out and entertainment. Facilities are nice and clean albeit basic. Only criticism we had was both male and female bathrooms only had one sink each. This site has basic facilities, but has all you need for a relaxing base. Had a great weekend and will definitely be returning.

Me and my partner decided to try cherry tree Farm as she has never been camping before and what a treat. From arriving it was spotless plenty of room and stunning views. The shower block is so clean it was a pleasure to use it. The owner was a star, he made us so welcome and bent over backwards to help you. The best site I've been on and is cheap for what you get. He's got black sheep that are adorable. Definitely going back. He's talking about getting log cabins, they will be stunning

The campsite was great it had everything we needed during our 1 night. Stay.
The owner was very friendly and welcoming.
The facilities were good.
One comment would be there may be a benefit of an extra sink in the Ladies Wash room.
The showers were clean and adequate however could prove to be dangerous if the tiled area below became slippy.
A shower mat would have helped in this case as you could easily become unbalanced in the shower on those tiles, just a thought.
Overall a 10 out of 10 would highly recommend this site. Great pitches, great views, site felt secure and safe for kids.

What a lovely little site, the owner was really friendly and very helpful, toilets were spotless, nice views, there was no park but the kids kept themselves entertained all weekend climbing trees rolling down the fields having water fights and not a nintendo DS in sight.
The site is on a slope but there are flat places in parts if you pitch with care.
Overall very happy with this site and will definitely be returning.

Really enjoyed this little site, on arrival the owner was helpful in selecting our pitch. Nice camping area with good views.
The toilet block was spotless and modern.
If you go to the dog walk down the steps head left your on the river where there is a safe large area to run the dogs and you can see either way for other dogs approaching (if you need to like we do). You can also walk to Greetland its under a mile, we had a pint in The Quees's and got some shopping from the Co-Op.
This site fit our needs perfectly.

We chose this site as our second option but so glad now that we were a little unsure about our first choice and went for this one instead. Excellent clean and tidy campsite. Well maintained. Friendly owner and very helpful. Lovely quiet site with a perfect area for walking the dogs. Plenty of local shops and pubs less than a mile away. Local chicken takeaway got a good range of food to suit all tastes and do an excellent curry. Will definitely be going back. Perfect for a weekend away, wish we could have stayed another night.

Well what a fantastic weekend we had, lovely surroundings, very clean showers and toilets. Short distance to halifax that had everything you need and was a nice shopping centre and a lovely park called manor heath park, it had a beautiful butterfly world 10 mins away. We were lucky it was halifax festival the weekend we were there, we met a lot of people on the site with young families which was great for us, as we have a 6 year old little girl. We were able to hire a camp fire for a small fee and bought bags of fire wood. The farmer was so nice and accommodating and more than helpful in every way he could. There was a lovely walk near the canal. Beautiful views in every direction. We met another family that made our weekend more enjoyable and we will defo be going to cherry tree farm again this year ! thank you

Just had a lovely weekend at Cherry Tree Farm. The site is very clean and well maintained. The kids loved playing in the meadow ay the bottom of the tent field and climbing the trees
It has been a hot weekend and although the site gets the sun all day, the trees provide welcome shade
The toilets and showers were very clean and the owner was kind enough to lend us some tent pegs which our borrowed tent seemed to come without!
We were too late to rent a fire pit for the evening but the owner did say he has some more due next weekend.
