Excellent all round. The hard standing pitches are very well constructed. There are ample water points and electric hookups. The toilet and shower were both impeccably clean. The washing up area had ample hot water and a good drying space. The site is located in an excellent birdwatching site. The owners are pleasant, helpful and flexible. Although there is only one loo and one shower, we had to wait on only one occasion for either.

We were touring Mull and I chose Crannich Farm as it was fairly central and near to where we wanted to be on a couple of days during our 2wks in Scotland. I e-mailed the owners prior to the start of our holiday as I was a bit worried we weren't booked in as I had no e-mail confirmation. We WERE booked in so I could relax!
When we arrived at the site we were unable to find anyone to check in with although we rang the bell(s) at the farmhouse. There was a board with names and pitch numbers on but ours wasn't on it leading me to panic! Neither of us had a mobile signal so we hung around for a bit hoping to see someone before driving part way to Tobermory to find a signal. Unfortunately the board with campers names and pitch numbers hadn't been updated - Robin did apologise but had it been updated we could have been settled and with our awning up during the time it took us.
As others have said, the site is small with 6-9 pitches and a few statics for hire which are in a separate area to the touring pitches. It's very peaceful and with lovely views and scenery. We actually spotted a sea eagle in the distance from the site. However, you do need to drive (or cycle) as there's nothing nearby. Yes, there is only one shower and one toilet but the shower is really good and it's free!
I was really pleased when Sam pointed out the electric socket in the dishwashing/ drying/ information room. Although we had hook up, it meant I could use my hair straighteners and stand directly in front of a mirror rather than struggle in the campervan! There were several bins for recycling and the site was well kept.
The pitches vary in size and I think we had pitch 5 which I'd probably request again on a return trip to Mull. So yes, we would stay here again.

We stayed here on our wet fortnight in Western Scotland. We only had one night, so probably didn't see the Site to best advantage. The mist and cloud were so thick, we couldn't see much, in fact. There are half a dozen or so pitches with ehu. The Site itself is a couple of miles down a single track road, with passing places, off the main Craignure - Tobermory Road at Aros. Like others, our pitch wasn't flat but nothing too difficult to manage. What facilities there are first class but they are limited. The shower is probably the best we've ever had but there's only one for everyone on Site. Same story for the toilet which also houses the only washbasin. I guess it could be pretty busy when the place is full.

We travelled to Mull for a short break. Just the 2 of us and 2 dogs in a motorhome.
Lovely small site in the middle of Mull close to forest for walking and cycling and for relatively easy access to the rest of Mull by road. Good facilities. Friendly owners and the Miss World of dogs, Amber! A treat on her own.
Pitches on hard standing fairly level. Clean toilet, shower and drying/washing facilities. Wifi in caravan next to main house. Water, power and TV connection (not used) all beside each pitch. Only minor downside was access to grey waste not easy from a motorhome unless you have a long extension pipe or a removable caddy.
If you want to be near shopping, pubs, restaurants it probably isn't the place for you but if you like the quiet life with great night skies, bird watching, meandering about at a leisurely pace it is a gem.
We will definitely go back.

Now that we have retired we are visiting parts of Scotland we have not been to before - and Mull was one of them.
We spent a few nights on this great site. The facilities were out of this world - especially the shower room - better than many a five star hotel.
Would recommend to all to give this site a visit - you will not be disappointed.

An idyllic setting awaits and a very warm welcome from the delightful and accommodating owners. An excellent high quality small site in a great location for visiting the Isle of Mull. Facilities are of a very good standard with everything you need set up in buildings which are sympathetic to the beautiful surroundings. Quiet and peaceful. Stunning views. We were very fortunate to be able to stay here and I would recommend Crannich Farm to anyone especially if you love a small and friendly site with lovely mountain views. A great place to stay.

We stayed at this site for a couple of days. Geographically it is pretty central in the Isle of Mull. It is a small site (9 pitches), peaceful and located in beautiful scenery. Sam and Rob are very welcoming hosts who ensure all the facilities are clean and tidy. Whilst we never encountered a queue, currently there is only one WC and one shower. However, we understand these facilities are going to be enlarged soon. Our only niggle was that it was unclear which bin was which for recycling our refuse. The 'acid test': would we go back again next time we are on Mull? Yes, definitely.

Stayed here for 2 nights, quite hard to find but eventually found it after asking at the post office. A warm welcome from Sam and she told us what pitch we were on. It is advertised as having 6 pitches but actually has 9, peaceful location with superb views, however only 1 toilet and 1 shower, this was not really a problem even though the site was full as we had our own facilities, however did use the shower and can say it was amazing, and even if you do have wait it's worth it! Would definitely return if ever on Mull again. There were sea eagles nesting in the distance but unfortunately didn't see them, although plenty of bird life and deer.

WOW what an amazing place to stay, Stunning scenery with a small well kept site and friendly. We did not see enough of Mull so are going back next year. This has to be the best site we have visited so far. Eagles every day, beautiful weather, stunning scenery, what more could you ask for. As there is only one shower you do have to 'shower' when empty as people tend to sit and wait till its free, We managed ok so its not a problem. Its pretty central to almost all part of the island and we managed to do the furthest point away (Finnonhport) and back in a day. Always something different to see. Relly enjoyed our stay

Quiet and beautifully kept site, with stunning views, even saw a pair of sea eagles. The site is based near to the village of Salen which has a good local supermarket. The facilities were spotless and warm, although only one toilet and shower. The site owner was welcoming, and we enjoyed our visit to Crannich.
