Stayed here for 3 nights and did not regret it. Ideal location for exploring the island.
Only 9 hard standing pitches with EHU. Fabulous views across the countryside. Quiet and fairly private. Owners welcoming and very helpful. There is a single WC and a single shower. These can get stretched during busy am / pm times.

What an absolute gem, we almost don't want to leave a review so as to keep the secret to ourselves! Lovely, quiet, central location. Not a 'happening' spot for older children, but a delightful place to explore. Fabulous shower, even if there is only one it is worth waiting your turn for! Loads of information in the facilities room. Pitches well spaced and all with stunning views. Local farm animals and wildlife are a joy to watch. Owner couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming both in person and on the phone whilst taking our booking. We will definitely be going back.

We loved this site and the surrounding area. Mull is a beautiful place and this site is an ideal base for touring. We agree with all the positive comments about the facilities. They are excellent. The owners, Sam and Rob, could not be nicer; so helpful and friendly. We had views of the eagles and other wildlife. This is an ideal place to relax and take some time out. We are really looking forward to a return visit later this year, or next Spring.

Small, friendly camp site. Quite centrally located for both the North and South of the island. Lovely views. Level, gravel pitches (no need to use levelling blocks on some), relatively easy access up single track road. Five of the six pitches have electric hook up, all have easy access to water. Toilet block very modern and clean, shower head was the biggest I've ever seen and very effective! Good recycling facilities. Can't actually drive over a drain to empty grey water directly from the tank but site provides waste buckets in which to empty your tank before pouring it down the drain. Not really ideal for children as open water nearby and no play facilities. Highly recommended for older families and couples.

We spent a wonderfully peaceful four days and nights at this site together with our two border terriers and I have nothing but positive comments to make. A pleasant change from the usual caravan club rules and regulations, the owners were happy to pass on their local knowledge but equally as happy to leave us to enjoy our holiday as adults. Our dogs were exercised directly from our pitch as there are tremendous walks out from the site which we were guided to by the owner. I observed the eagles every evening we were there, an amazing sight.
The facilities at the site are first class, enough has already been said about the shower etc but I confirm that they are top notch. The views from every one of the hard standing pitches was awesome and the peace and quiet was something I will return to enjoy again. I am very impressed with the location and if you are looking for peace and tranquillity, this is it.
We had no problems with the electric hook ups, water supplies or anything else. The pitches are level and gravel hard standing.

We left Crannich Farm promising to return. For a small site and that to us, was a major attraction, the facilities were superb, clean, hot and very welcoming. Shop, Post Office and Restaurant all in village approximately three miles away. No mobile or internet access on the farm - to us was a plus point but might not be for all. The owners Sam and Robin made us very welcome. We enjoyed days out visiting the beautiful island but the highlight was Mull Eagle Watch and a long walk on Calgary beach.

We stayed for 6 days. Great location with good views across countryside. Good area for walking, seeing buzzards, sea eagles and eagles. The site is small and well kept. There is one new shower room with good power shower, with heated towel rail. Unfortunately the owners don't like this being on, so on frosty cold mornings its very cold. Access to shower and toilets could be difficult if you are disabled
If you have small children take care as there is a large unfenced pond
Its about 10-15 mins to nearest shops and 30 mins to Tobermory

We spent 10days at crannich and didn't want to leave. It was set in beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. It is only 10 mins from Salem where there are shops and eating places. We went to visit Calgary beach at least 4 times. It was just like being in the caribbean but totally uncommercialised. The sand was pure white and the sea so clear and blue with a lovely sandy bottom. We found so many pretty places and the scenery is so dramatic. Crannich is definitely the best site on mull, we visited the other 3 and they did not come close. There are only 6 pitches on the farm and our dogs were made very welcome. The toilet and shower are lovely. Sam the site owner was absolutely fab couldn't do enough for us. All in all we can't fault the farm or the island. It is one of the best holidays we have ever had and we will definitely be regular visitors to crannich. We don't have young children anymore so I cannot comment on the subject of suitability but I know they will be very welcome.

You could spend the rest of your life touring round campsites and still you would not find shower or toilet facilities as good as this site has,
however we didn’t drive all the way to mull just for a shower, the rest of the island and its wildlife are amazing,
we woke up every morning to the sight of sea eagles on the hill opposite, we saw sea otters in Salen Bay just near the end of the road. Sam & Robin who run the site could not have been more helpful.
If you are thinking of going to Mull, stay at this site, do not look any further, you will not be disappointed.
Robin recommended the Sea Eagle feeding trip; you have to try this if you are into wildlife. We could not believe how close we came to these wild animals.
One of the best holidays ever and without doubt the best site ever!

This is a very good site for motorhomes or touring caravans about 20 mins drive from Tobermorey makes it a great base. The facilities are excellent and all new (fantastic shower). Each of the six pitches has power and water close at hand, which saves moving the van when filling with water. The water is also very good and makes a great cup of tea!
The site is situated in Glen Aros and the views are wonderful, we saw Sea Eagles in the distance, what a bonus.
The owners are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
It's a great place somewhere where we will visit again and we hope to return later in the year.
