This is the second time we have visited Tower park and it won't be our last, the site is nice and flat, staff very friendly,
The showers/toilets are always clean and stocked up with toilet roll/soap, loads of hot water.
A short stroll and you are in the local village which has 2 good shops which sell almost everything, even has a free cashpoint when the post office is closed.
There is a petrol station which sells meths which is what we needed for our Trangia.

My family stayed at this site in the height of summer 2013 and had a wonderful time. Situated just outside the beautiful cornish village of St Buryan it was just 5 minutes walk away.
The site was very quite I could even allow my disabled son to go to the park alone as it was situated outside our caravan. There is not much in the site shop but there is a londis in the town for all our essentials a lovely pub which offers wonderful food which you can also take away. So much to do and see within driving distance, we visited St Michaels Mount and beautiful beaches.
The Toilet and Shower block although dated was always very clean and they had a tv/games room and a small cafe/ takeaway on site. Just a few miles from Penzance this site is in a perfect location to discover Cornwall.

Nice level well kept site in a lovely village close to Lands End & Penzance. Easy to find however as always with Cornwall narrow lanes can be tricky with a 28ft caravan! Access to site though is great.
There are several fields which are all well kept. We didn't have a choice where to pitch as it was so busy when we booked. Our pitch wasn't that big and was in a line with others which we didn't like. However we were well sheltered compared to the other fields. But the pitches on the other fields were bigger and not so regimented!
Facilities are good. However only 5 showers on such a big site. When its busy there are queues! They are well kept however could have been a bit cleaner and I wouldn't say they were spotless! Maybe this is because they were so busy. Also as hot water relies on solar it does run out! We had a coldish shower most nights.
They have a games room, tv room, play area which we didn't use as they were teenage gang hangout places at night. There are supposed to be rules on noise but this was never enforced and we had teenagers running around screaming most night until 12 at least and arguments with shouting and swearing. We hardly slept for the whole week we were there. However if you had a pitch further away from these facilities you would probably be ok.
We didn't use the shop or take away food but they always seemed busy. But we did use the laundry facilities which were great after the rain we had!
Dogs are welcome and have a separate field where they can be let off and are free to run which was great.
St Byruan is a lovely village with a pub (which we didn't get chance to use although heard it was really nice!) a great Londis with the cheapest and nicest Cornish pasties we had! And a post office. We caught the open top bus from the village to sight see and for £12 for a family is a cheap way of getting around.
Great beaches, Gwyfor in particular, hard to find with a bit of a walk but well worth it. Its life guarded and dogs are welcome too.
Nice site, would return out of season when its not so busy, cheaper and would request a pitch far away from facilities as we could due to the noise!

A large well maintained family run campsite, welcomed and shown to our pitch grass well cut, showers toilets were clean and well maintained family room uses a radar key which if you don't have one you could pay a deposit for one.
Really good play area for kids and ample field for dog walk.
Lots to do locally really nice pub in the village serving food or takeaway fish and chips.
Also campsite did breakfast and evening tea takeaway pizza was nice and reasonable priced
Owners are knowledgeable about the area one trip a must is a day trip to the isle of scilly from Penzance by ferry amazing place!
Only bad point for us as a family we were on electric hook up and at night it was very noisy with children out running round the block from play area screaming shouting until sometimes after 10pm which disturbed my children who go to bed at 8pm
Would return to site but would choose the field near dog walk area as much quieter at night.

Just returned from 9 glorious nights at Tower Park Campsite. The owners were lovely, and couldn't do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The facilities were always clean, with free hot water in the showers and washing up sinks. The food at the cafe was also well cooked and good value for money.
The site was well maintained and the grass cut frequently.
Will definitely visit again.

We stayed in one of the new pre erected tents and were very impressed by how well they were equipped. had everything you needed including proper glasse,s which was amazing as hate plastic ones, real plates and cutlery. The bed was brilliant, the first time I've slept properly while camping. Site was clean so were toilets and showers. Owners of site really friendly and helpful and the owners of pre erected tents couldn't have been more patient and kind. All in all have to give 10 out of 10. Cant wait to go bk have already rebooked for August !

Loved this site. Several well maintained fields to choose from surrounded by lovely natural hedges. We chose a sheltered spot due to wet & windy weather but lots of pitches with gorgeous views of countryside to choose from too. Showers & loos spotless at all times and plenty of hot water - showers included in price. Good dog walking area and for those with kids, lovely wooden play equipment including swings, wendy house, boat etc. No plastic eyesores! & plenty of room to run around and explore for all ages. Great location. Lots of lovely walks & beaches nearby. Local post office, shop & pub which have everything you could need. Highlights for us were Mousehole & the glorious outdoor Minack theatre, both nearby & a must while you're there. Brilliant value for money, wish we'd had more than a week to spare there despite the weather. Will be back

What a gem of a site! Booking was really smooth and on arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff. We were on a grass pitch and were able to choose where we wanted to pitch up, with the choice of 3 fields.
We chose the first field near the play area which was nice and flat. Our children aged 7 and 3 had a great time in the play area as advertised on tower parks website and made lots of friends.
We found the main toilet area to be very well maintained and regularly checked by staff. I would agree that the showers could do with more light but once in the cubicle it was fine. The fact the shower were free, warm and clean was great.
There was signs outside the showers stating no shoes in the cubicles was brilliant and reduced the grass and mud brought in. Thd laundry room was very good with a huge freezer for ice packs. We used thd village shop which was well stocked.
We were lucky with the weather and visited the beach at Portcurno a few times which was lovely. We has a nice walk from Sennen to Lands End which the kids enjoyed.
All in all we had a brilliant week and will definitely be going back. We would have no hesitation recommending to others. Well done to all at Tower Park your doing a brilliant job!

We have just returned from 5 nights at Tower and had a great time. I notice that one reviewer says her children were bored, well, we never saw an evidence of that from the kids there while we were there! Maybe there are only a couple of swings, but believe me, kids have way more imagination that adults give them credit for!
The pitches are all level and we had an electric hookup. The site was tidy and the grass was nicely cut. The shop was a little sparse, but it had Mars Bars and Kit-Kats. What more do you want?
Everyone was friendly and it seems some go back year after year and meet up with friends.
Perhaps if your kids are heavily into computers and games consoles you may have a problem, but if they are in any way adventurous, cut em loose and sit back to enjoy that glass of wine!
