Friendly welcoming owners. Very helpful when making our booking and choosing a good pitch. The facilities are good with individual shower cubicles with divided front portion to keep clothes dry.
Pitches are a good size and divided by longer (unmown) grass lines to ensure you know where to place your tent or caravan.
Although not used during our stay there is a laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. There is also a freezer for ice blocks, plus a games room if the weather is poor.
During our stay the weather was dry and sunny. The local attractions and beaches are excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by our 9 year old.
The village of St. Buryan is a short walk from the site and has a nice pub that does very good food. There is also a small shop in the village selling most of the things you would need. Penzance is not that far if you need a larger supermarket.
We would recommend this site and hope to visit again before too long.

We visited Tower Park having read many favourable reviews on this and other websites. Whilst we agree that there are a lot of positives associated with the site, such as friendly and welcoming owners, clean (if not somewhat dated ablutions) and plenty of safe areas for the children to ride their bikes - there are some aspects that marred the experience.
Our main gripe was that, berthed as we were adjacent to the playground, the pipe-down rule of 10 O'clock was simply not adhered to. Most nights we were not left with peace and quiet until about 11pm - sometimes later - this proved difficult in trying to get our children off to sleep. Without doubt we should have been mindful of this when we booked, but as most sites follow and enforce this rule when in play - we thought the same would follow here.
On the subject of the park, the peice-de-la-resistance is two swings; yes, there is a small wendyhouse and a play tower - but that is the sum total. Our children were soon bored of this relatively meagre offering, and 'swing' ownership caused more arguments than an Olympic photo finish with all the children vying for a turn; allied to this was the disappointing 'games' room that was little more than a natty money spinner with pool and table tennis situated in a pretty uninspiring room next to the reception cum shop.
Our other big gripe was that despite complaints to the staff, a number of 4x4 owners were approaching silly speeds around the campsite, and on one particular occasion I am convinced had I not shouted and waved, one little girl running across the grass would have gone under the wheels - I would think as a matter of urgency the staff should erect speed limit signs asap.
Overall, the site is clean, well ordered and pleasant - it is a shame that certain aspects made the holiday, for us, more of a chore than a relaxing break.

Booked last minute but easily got in here at Tower Park in mid June.
Arrived and got a cheery welcome from the owners. Had a choice of pitches (all grass) and we plumped for a pitch in the huge field next to the dog walk. Only us, 1 motorhome and 1 tent in this wonderful large field, it was heaven.
Site is flat, but I would imagine after a lot of rainfall in a motorhome I would be a bit concerned about getting off the pitch, especially in some of the sheltered areas of the site - we never encountered any problems though in the open area we were in.
Showers/Toilets - a bit dated but very clean and fresh whenever you went in them. Shower area could do with slightly brighter lighting, did seem a bit creepy and unwelcoming with darker lighting above.
We had takeaway from the St Buryann Inn who said we could have anything off the menu as takeaway, and they cater for vegetarians like me which was good. Londis shop also in the village which is an easy walk away from the site.
Penzance is a short drive and we spent the whole day at Marazion (motorhome parking £4.00 for all day which isn't bad for Cornwall!).
To sum up - lovely rural campsite, ideally located for all of West Cornwall and very good value for money.

We stayed here in sept 2011 and it was a lovely site with everything you could need.
The owners were very helpful, all the facilities were really clean and the pitches were spacious. It is in a great location for exploring west Cornwall. We would stay again.
Nice and relaxed. My son enjoyed playing on the little playground and we also walked into the village and had a nice Sunday lunch.

Loathed as I am to share this gem here`s my review
This is easily one of the best sites I have been to, its has the advantage of being in one of my favourite parts of the world but it excels in other areas too.
The facilities as spotless, there is always hot water, and its all solar powered. My only niggle is the showers are quite dark when you`re in the cubicles.
The grass is kept tidy, the bins are emptied on an almost daily basis, there are an abundance of recycling bins.
Even though the site was full almost every night, it never felt busy, the areas are all hedged off and it feels very spacious and peaceful.
'curfew' is 10pm. Its stuck to by everyone, which is a very refreshing change.
There is a play area for the children, also a games room if the weather is gloomy.
The EHU pitches are big, we had no trouble fitting our large tent on it, and the car and trailer!
The owners are very helpful, the shop is nice. Would like it to sell fresh milk. But that's a tiny inconvenience as there is a really well stocked shop in St Buryan, easily within walking distance.
All in all we had a fabulous holiday and have already booked to return next summer

This site very quickly became our favourite site of all time!
It is an absolute gem - lovely large, flat pitches with natural hedgerows and wild flowers sectioning them off so there is no danger of anyone encroaching on your space.
We found that although the site was busy, it never felt over crowded or overly 'loud' - it is so relaxed and peaceful.
The shop on site sells stuff you are likely to have forgotten, but not essentials - so things like wash powder, fire lighters etc. The shop in St Buryan is only a 5 minute walk though, so its no bother.
The showers are clean and hot, although we also found them a little dark as the only light is the natural light. The laundry is also great - from what I remember, it was about £3 for a wash (twice as big as my washer at home, so well worth it) and 20p for 5 minutes in the drier, and a pound got the whole lot dry.
The local area has plenty to do. Penzance, Land End, Sennan & St Michaels Mount are all within easy reach.
It is a perfect site for exploring south Cornwall, and we will be back!

My Wife and I have just returned from a fantastic 5 day break at this campsite.
This site is beautifully kept and maintained and a credit to Jerry and Jude who run it.
The pitches are clean, flat and the grass is beautifully kept.
The toilet block always had hot water and were always lovely and clean.
It is a great base for covering Cornwall, even the helicopters flying overhead to the Isle of Scilly didn't bother us.
There is absolutely nothing at all I can fault with this site.
Give it a try!

I have been visiting this site for 16 years, and it just gets better and better! A very quiet, tidy site. Flat pitches and some of them very sheltered. Spotless toilets and (free) showers. Owners are very nice and welcoming, who just leave you to get on with your holiday in peace, or are happy to have a chat at any time. Most people have been going to the site for years, which means more than any review can say. It also seems to be popular with the Dutch and Germans.
Its a 5 mins walk to the village, where there is a very friendly shop, sells pretty much anything that you could want. There is also a Sub Post Office, a rarity these days in Britain. The Pub is OK but a bit expensive. City prices for all the beers.
You are only 20 mins from Penzance, which is a really lovely town. Lots of small shops and a busy harbour. St Ives, the Lizard, etc are all close by, so a great place to base yourselves for a holiday in this very beautiful part of Britain.

This is a great site. We stayed here for the weekend and wished we could have extended our stay we enjoyed ourselves so much. The site has all you could need - free showers (which were clean, hot and a good size too. With handy pegs and benches for your towels/clothes) there were plenty of toilets too.
The wash up facilities were covered and had plenty of free, hot water. There was a well equipped laundry room, a little shop that wasn't open very often but then we did go out of the main season I suppose and a great tv room / games room. There were plenty of tables in there so if you were fed up of sitting in a soggy tent you could read a book or play a game in there.
I have small children who loved the play area which again had plenty to offer. Lots of room to run around. The pitches were a good size too.
There is a no noise after 10pm policy on this site which worked well for us having small children and it seemed to have been adhered to very well, the owners live on site which helps.
We will be returning as it's proximity to Penzance was handy and the village it's in is a very picturesque Cornish village, with a great pub and shop.

We stayed here one night cycle touring on our trip from Lands End. The location was good on the edge of town, the price was reasonable, there was plenty of space, and the facilities were good.
There was a strong wind but we were quite sheltered by the hedgerows.
The local pub was only a short, pleasant walk up the road.
There seemed to quite a few families on the site. I would stay here again.
