Beautiful, quiet setting with clean facilities.
My husband and I had a brilliant time touring the Yorkshire Dales while using Three Acres as our base.
Would definitely return if we are in the Dales again.

Great little site. Attractive setting.
Clean facilities. Good hot shower (no charge).
Jim was lovely, really friendly and helpful with putting our freeze blocks in his freezer and delivering them to us twice a day!
A very relaxed feel.
We were able to use our fire bowl.

Couldn’t find fault with this place. Jim the owner is so friendly and welcoming. Pitches were spacious and each had its own electric and water point.
Such a peaceful place, with complete quietness after about 10:30.
Unlike other sites we’ve stayed at, the dogs on leads rule seemed more relaxed and they were allowed to stay around the tent without having to be tied to a spike the whole time.
Facilities very basic but extremely clean and more than adequate for what we needed. 2 toilets and a shower. Lovely fresh eggs for sale at 1. 50 for 6.
We will definitely recommend this place and will certainly return with no hesitation.
Thanks for a relaxing weekend

Three acres caravan site is a lovely site to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet away from it all.
The pitches are very spacious and each is supplied with a cold water supply.
There are two toilets and one shower, basic but clean, all you need really.
There are plenty of walks nearby.
We would definitely stay again if we wanted a short stay near Harrogate

This small campsite is a real find! Don’t be put off by the rather unpreposessing approach past farm buildings and sheds- the top part of the site is for caravans and mobile homes (some on hard standing) The rest of the field is for tents and vans.
I think there is an EHU for every pitch some of which have meters - this makes the cost very fair as you are only billed for what you use as oppose to a set fee per night.
The site is quiet, the facilities are basic (2 loos and 1 shower) which are at the top of the field…. Why do they always put the tents furthest from the loos and motor homes nearest when usually they have their own facilities??? Never understood that!
Be aware that there are NO dishwashing facilities but most pitches have a tap so it’s not too bad.
Jim the owner/manager is really helpful and friendly- very easy going eg - we needed to stay past 11am to get the tent dry before packing it away- some places would ask you to pay a late exit fee but Jim said no worries for a couple of hours- Thanks Jim!
There is also a really good pub about 15mins walk across the field or along the road - The Queen’s Head - does excellent meals - including breakfasts (7-9am).
All in all a really pleasant basic campsite-if you want a shop, a trim trail and glamping don’t go- if you want a quiet, relaxing get away from it all… this is the one!

Loved it and can’t wait to return, RONSEAL !
Fabulous setting, jim amazing,
Facilitates basic, but do what it says on line, you can use a clean loo, shower in a clean shower and wash ya hands or brush ya teeth in a sink,
Plenty books an DVDs on loan, fresh eggs lovely,
Amazing camp on a very busy working farm, value for money, … no heating in the bathrooms so be warned, but very clean and useable,
Adults only

Having camped on this camp site for a total of 28 nights I can reliably say peace and quiet comes as standard. This site seems to attract mature people who respect the 10. 30pm silence rule (if not much earlier )
The site itself is very flat and the pitch sizes are generous and have their own water supply and EHU. There are no washing facilities so we bring a large bowl to wash up in our tent which we prefer to do anyway given the Covid threat.
Jim the owner is an ace host.
If you want to avoid the all to common noisy camp site issues this is the place to come.
