Great site, with easy walk into town. Good clean facilities, friendly and easy going owner. 20 pound per night with electric hook up.
Great cycling and walking locally. Found the town really delightful with a mix of independent shops and a couple of larger supermarkets.
Bengal lounge curry house was great for a takeaway.

Enjoyed a couple of nights at this lovely site. Weather was in our favour, always a bonus.
The site is behind a farm shop, simply laid out flat pitches.
The toilet /shower facilities work well, theyr individual wet rooms with shower toilet & wash basin.
A lovely 10mins walk into town. Such a lovely little place. Plenty of bars, eateries & quirky shops. Aldi, Sainsburys & Coop, individual local butchers & bakers too
We love this place. We will be back later in year.
Keep up the good work Colin & family.

Nice clean well cared for site. Flat hard and grass pitches and we'll drained as even grass area was firm despite surrounding area suffering from flooding. We had a mix up over payment, which got us of to a bad start, then had a little trouble the next day finding the owners to sort it out, had to resolve with young lad in the cafe.
Great facilities for £20 per night, not many toilets (four I think plus one disabled which was locked during our visit) could be a problem if site was full as all the facilities are self contained and include shower, toilet, and hand basin.
Great for privacy, bit of blocking if busy, we had no trouble as site was only 1/3 full. Distance to Pocklington is easy stroll taking 10-15 mins along flat easy path and town is worth a visit. Site is on a cycle route and scenic route, so very nice area. Would definitely use again if needed to visit area.

Lovely find. Decent size hard standing
Pitches with 16 amp hook up and free wi-fi. The setting is superb next to allotments and fields with great views up towards the Wolds.
There are 4 washrooms each including a shower, toilet and handbasin as well as one disabled cabin and a two sink wash up station.
There's a farm shop and cafe at the front of the site. Although we've not used the cafe but we've bought cake to take out, which was yummy.
It's about a 10/15 minute walk into Pocklington, along goodll footpaths all the way, which is a lovely, quaint little town full of independent shops as well as two supermarkets. It also has the added bonus of lots of free parking.
We'll definitely be revisiting.

Just had a fantastic weekend at this site, didn't want to leave. Friendly owner who really cares about the site and wants you to have a good time and the lad who works in the shop deserves a mention too for making you feel welcome.
We were able to store our bikes in the shed which was handy as we had constant rain most of the day. Easy walk into Pocklington where there are pubs and shops and the site has the best Wifi I have come across.
Take rock pegs and a proper hammer, the ground is unbelievably hard but don't let that put you off booking to stay here, you would have to try hard to find fault with this site.

Just got back from The Mile Farm Shop Camping site and all I can say is 'what a wonderful site. '
Nothing is too much trouble for the owner Colin, from helping Me straighten my caravan when we first arrived to being constantly available, ensuring everyone was enjoying their stay. Unusual shower block that actually worked well.
(All in one) Very clean and kept that way throughout. Site has plenty of EHU's and Fresh water taps. There is nothing else to say apart from, 'we will be back. ' Words cannot describe this little Gem. Superb, fantastic.
Well Done Colin and family.

First family camping trip. Wonderful welcome and was impressed with facilities. Shower/ toilets clean and lovely hot water. Washing up facilities under cover. Farm shop wonderfully stocked with some basics up to top quality Gins!
Flat field with plenty of hook ups, WiFi worked fine, have to disconnect first to go on other devices on your personal sign in but good signal. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Short drive in to York and to the coast to Bridlington and Scarborough.
Pocklington short walk from site and worth a visit with an aldi and sainsbury store.
As a first go at camping, family loved site and want to go again. Cost very reasonable indeed to my mind though not experienced on what you can get but to me seemed great value for what we got.

Our second visit to this lovely site. Flat ground, pleasant staff in shop. Owner very friendly.
Toilet / shower facilities very clean.
Undercover pot wash with deep sinks and hot water.
Unfortunately for us we had to leave early because weather was against us on this occasion.
We'll be back next year. Keep up the good work.
The breakfast butties are to die for.

This peaceful site is a real find and we will certainly be back. The pitches cover two level fields behind the Mile Farm Shop/Cafe, which has indoor and outdoor play areas for children. (They don’t disturb the campers, as the cafe closes at 4 pm. )
It's an easy 10/15-minute walk from the small town of Pocklington which has a good range of shops and places to eat, with a busy market on Tuesdays.
The site has electric hook-ups and excellent new toilet and shower facilities, as well as washing-up sinks with piping hot water. All it lacks is a laundry. The WiFi, included in the very reasonable price, works well on our pitch in the first field.
It is ideally placed for visiting York or the coast and it’s also a good base for exploring the quiet network of lanes and villages in the Yorkshire Wolds by bicycle. There is even a well stocked cycle shop in Pocklington where we replaced a broken bicycle mirror.
