We had a 2 night stay at this site and had a great time. For the time of year there were very few people at the site and only a handful of tents.
Pitched our tent in the rear grass section and was very peaceful with great views.
The place is well kept and the shower, toilet block was very clean.
Onsite shop for your basic essentials is very handy as it is a long drive into and nearest towns.
Another great site that we would happily visit again.

Excellent. Superb location. Lots of places to pitch your tent including an area away from the hard standings. Facilities clean and warm. No complaints at all.
Lovely views over Loch Sunart and spectacular sunsets. Good for wildlife and you might get to see an otter if you're lucky.
Please note regarding previous review, this site is not a short walk to the pub! It is about 10 miles to Strontian. There are no bars within walking distance and it's all the better for it.

Top notch campsite all very professional with excellent facilities and marvellous views over Loch Sunart. Very spacious pitches, quiet and peaceful. Newspapers available and basic stuff from campsite shop but didn't find anything to walk to i. E. Pub for a meal/drink so for motorhomers take it all with you. A good base to explore Ardnamurchan and all the fabulous scenery. Would definitely stay again.

Superb, our second visit to this site which has a beautiful location, is very well maintained. Shower/ toilet block is spotless as is laundry room and dishwashing facilities. Staff very helpful. Small shop with basic foods and lovely morning rolls! Very good value for money. Lots to do and see in the surrounding area. We will be returning to this site again that's for sure and would highly recommend it to fellow campers and caravanners

We've stayed here a few times before, but haven't been for a couple of years now.
The location is remote, and the road from Strontian is a narrow single track. There are many passing places, though, and don't let it put you off!
The site itself is located on the shores of Loch Sunart, and the views can be breathtaking, if the weather allows.
The staff are excellent and always do their best to make you feel welcome.
The toilets could do with a bit of a freshen up, though, and the shower are those push button type that always switch off when you're trying to wash off soap.
Free wifi when we were there too.
We'll be back.

This is an absolute gem of a site, great secluded location, yes it is along a single track road but it is a well tarmacked road with many passing places, we found it a great place to be based to get the ferry out to mull for a day and yet to also explore the point and fort William.
The staff are so friendly and will go out of their way to help you, they even posted my daughters hat back to us (as it was a collectors Olympics one and a fellow camper handed it in).
The shop is well stocked and the facilities are perfectly adequate and clean, they are also within good reach of the majority of the site which is of major consideration with young children! The site is flat and the tent pegs went into the ground easily.
The views across the loch are fabulous and the 'dog walk' just off site is great we could walk for miles with the dog off lead through the lovely scenery.
There is a nature centre at armudachan point not far away where the kids can learn about the fabulous sea eagle, and not far along the road is a wildlife hide where you can see seals, otters and porpoise if you are lucky.
We can't wait to go back again.

A setting second to none and very good facilities, which are up to date and very well kept. Good laundrette - two new washing machines and tumble dryers. You need to take supplies with you as there are no shops close by, although there is a small shop on site. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The setting, by the shores of Loch Suaineart is beautiful and good opportunities for hillwalking in the near vicinity.

Stayed here for a week and despite the wet and windy weather we had a fantastic stay.
The owners were very friendly, lovely clean showers and toilets, site shop with all the essentials you'll need and more.
Met some wonderful people, my husband was out on the Loch in his dinghy - they have their own slipway with free usage for the campers / caravanners - so he was a happy chap.
Small ferry ride across - about 7 mins - but well worth it. It is set in the most beautiful place with stunning scenery and with views overlooking the Loch to die for, what more could you ask for.
Will definitely be visiting again.

Stayed here one night at a cost of £18. 50 for 2 adults, 2 dogs and elec. We were lucky to be located at the front of the site which gave us some lovely view of the loch opposite.
There was a wooded dog walk at the back of the site where the dogs could go off-lead.
Reception were very friendly and even opened up for us out of hours which was much appreciated. Site was well maintained and had a drive-thru with water and waste points on either side, very well thought out.
We would definitely stay here again.

Great camp site with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The loch is just over the road and you can walk straight from the camp up the hills behind. It is a very dog friendly site with walks to the side in the woods for them.
On the negative side, tent area is adjacent to touring pitches and when I was there three cars of one family arrived with 6 girls under 10! The noise of girls screeching during the day was horrendous. Hopefully this was a one off but it did spoil my stay here.
There is a small shop on site which will order papers etc for you and the staff were very helpful.
