A welcome cup of tea on arrival set the tone for the rest of the visit - a really welcoming site. The facilities were clean and tidy and plenty of hot water.
There is road noise from the A30 but not intrusive at all times. Overall a lovely site which is well maintained and run by brilliant owners.
I have only one quibble and that is the lack of a drive over grey water facility, but that would be the icing on the cake.

The site is very well maintained and the owners Steve and Angie made us feel very welcome on arrival.
I would recommend the site as it is ideally situated and the pitches are nicely spaced.
Showers are electric so no problem with hot water and the pressure was good.
Local Pub and supermarket are a brisk 10 mins walk from the site probably 15 mins on way back.
I had a problem with my car during our stay and Steve took me to a repair workshop making sure I was sorted out. This involved him losing a morning, I was extremely grateful and thank him again.
It is close to the A30 and when the wind blows in the direction of the site you do get to hear the traffic hum

Beautiful site, lovely lovely site owners and spotless facilities. What more can we say!?
We were made to feel very welcome and will definitely be returning. Very relaxing with no silly site rules.
If you ever decide to sell let us know!
Sam the dog also gave us a good welcome.

What can we say ? the other reviewers have said it for us. A lovely small site in the middle of Cornwall and central to most places, a very friendly couple greeted us with a pot of tea.
Although we had a lot of rain on our first day the site was well drained, pegging out of the awning was easy hardly ever used the mallet.
The bus stops out side the site but beware times are bit hit and miss and we ended up in Truro rather than Newquay so read the destination on the bus!
The very small downside is the A30 its very busy and is constantly in the background but after a few glasses of wine you couldn't hear it at all.
We will definitely use Resparva again.

Like most people on here I check out any new campsite before booking it and was impressed with the 10 star rating and rav reviews people had given this site so booked for a week.
To be honest I liked this site but a few minor niggles means to me it doesn't justify a 10 star rating and I'll explain why-
Pros-nice tidy site-good value-well located-friendly owners-adult only
Cons-the road noise from the A30 is intrusive and constant-the toilets are clean but are fairly dated-the water and grey waste are on small built up walls meaning you have to lift fairly heavy barrels on/off
I know this goes against the reviewing trend but it is my honest opinion

Wow! Simply one of the best adults only sites we have ever stayed on. Why? Top value for money, £20 per night inc. electric in the high season! Simply the nicest owners you could ever wish to meet who go out of their way to make you welcome. Complimentary tea or coffee when you arrive. We arrived in the foulest weather conditions but were immediately met by Angie and Steve who spent the time with us to discuss where to pitch etc. Toilet/shower facilities are perfectly adequate and spotlessly clean. Large level grass pitches. Chapel Town/Summercourt is about 8 miles inland from Newquay on the Atlantic Coast and 12 miles from St Austell on the Riviera Coast so is the most ideal site if you want to explore Cornwall. The village has a pub and a well stocked Premier store. The A30 runs parallel with the site so I won't try to disguise the road noise but I can honestly say it didn't bother us one bit.
In one way I am loathe to leave this review as having read and agreed with the previous ones it is obvious that you will be very lucky to get on this site shortly. Will we return? You bet!

Resparva is a small, ideally placed site for touring North Cornwall/North Devon its also just off the main trunk road on the edge of the village so ideally placed for a stop over on the way down to Cornwall, as such is subject to some road noise most of the time and this may be the only negative to this small family owned site. The owners, Steve and his wife keep this place and its facilities spotless. The first surpise you will get on arrival is when the owners turn up with a tray with your required tea/coffee on it ( what a brilliant touch). They also keep the pot washing station supplied with soap. This is an adults only site. Local small supermarket is only 800 yds away if you need it. Would we use it again, most definitely yes

Toilets cleaned every day gardens attended to every day (a real picture) nearest shop (well stocked) & public house (nice meals) about half a mile away the site is next to the A30 providing easy access to explore Cornwall about 6 miles to Newquay we cannot wait to return

What can one say about this great little site, words cannot say how good it is. Met on our arrival by Steve he said we could pitch where we wanted and pointed out the best pitch for maximum sunshine. Whilst we got sorted he went and made a very welcome cup of tea and biscuits. The shower and toilet facilities were second to none. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Steve and his lovely wife Angie gave us good local knowledge of attractions in the area and the site was very central to all Cornwall. We were very sorry to leave after two great weeks but will tell all our caravanning friends how great Resparva House is and certainly will return as soon as we can.
Steve and Angie Well done !
