We have just returned from a week at Resparva house touring park, what a hidden gem all the facilities are kept spotless with lovely hot showers. We were greeted with a cup of tea which was most welcome thanks Steve. The site is level and well tended. There is slight road noise but not enough to be bothered about. We shall be returning again and again.

My wife & I stayed two nights at this brand new campsite & were chuffed to be the first to stay there. We were met at the gate by the lovely lady owner who offered us complimentary tea or coffee on a tray which was a first for us. We were invited to park anywhere on the immaculate grassy site which is dotted with newly planted shrubs & dwarf trees which in time will give some plots a feeling of seclusion if that is what you seek. The toilet block is immaculate without being ostentatious, the showers are roomy & the water hot with a good head of pressure. It is also easy to get dressed after the shower without getting your clothes wet in the process due to the good water run off & separate dressing area. Hand soap is available at each wash basin. I have also got to say the partner of the lady who met us is also very friendly & helpful.
The site is just on the edge of the village of Chapel Town which has the excellent pub The London Inn which serves great real ale & good reasonably priced food. The landlord & locals are very friendly & the chef even asked my relatives from Australia who used the pub for 5 nights what they would like to eat the next night & on each occasion he cooked them the meals of their choice. How fantastic is that?!
Across the road from the site is the superb Pasty Cafy housed in an ex car showroom to a garage. The interior is very American Diner like retro & even has 3 vintage cars inside. You can watch the 2 lovely ladies make the pasties, from their own recipe & order either a small, medium or the 10' Gurn Licker pasty. Other food is also available.
If I am to be totally honest in this review then I do have to point out the noise from the busy A30 which is close by. Some may find the noise intrusive particularly during the high season.
To sum up: A great site priced at £15 a night with EHU, in a good spot for venturing further afield & just 5 mins walk from an excellent pub & a small convenience store & less then a minutes walk from a great cafe.

september 2002 On arriving at the site my wife and I were welcomed with a cup of coffee brought out on a tray by the owner. The site itself is excellent, from the spotless toilet block, cleaned thoroughly everyday, the little extras to help you on site, the bird tables etc which make it very homely and the helpfulness of the owners of the site , such as walking books etc The only fault I would have is that it could do with an extra shower to prevent queing but that was a very minor problem Probably the best site that I have visited in England and we will certainly be going back again in the future Thanks for a great holiday
