Very well kept site with friendly owners.
Plenty of shelter from hedges around the site and between pitches.
Great location for exploring the county, just off the A30 with no narrow lanes to negotiate.
No shop on site but well stocked Spar about 1/2 mile away.
Laundry is through a little sitting room which could be useful in bad weather.
Definitely one to go back to.

Resparva House is situated in such a great position for lots of different areas of Cornwall.
Steve & Angela are wonderful, friendly & helpful when needed.
You get a lovely pot of tea/coffee & biscuits on arrival & treat for the dog.
Looking forward to our return visit again this year.

Another stay at this lovely little site. Angela & Steve really do make you feel welcome, we just love coming here.
We usually go earlier in the year but this year had to go later. We were offered the usual tea/ coffee/ biscuits when we arrived which is always much appreciated after a long journey.
The site is small but the pitches are a nice size for your car/caravan & awning, or tent/ campervan.
The site is enclosed with trees which had been trimmed back this year, the whole site is very neat & tidy & is adults only. The shower block has 2 ladies loos & 1 shower, hair dryer, hand wash, same for the men.
There is an additional shower room in the main house & a washer at £3 per wash should you need it. There is washing up sinks, grey waste & elsan point under cover.
The weather was good to us the 1st week but changed for the last 3 days we were there & followed us to the Cotswolds on leaving. We used the park & ride to get into Truro & from here used the bus to go to Falmouth one of the iffy days.
We also had lunch at the garden centre at Rejerrah and at Newquay Garden Centre, both were very nice but preferred Rejerrah for the food.
A visit to Perranporth is one we always do, parking this year was £8 all day in the field at the side of the Co-op just as you approach the roundabout.
I think it was £6 all day as you came down the hill just past the garage. We went to Tintagel, parking was £4 all day at the side of a pub in the main street, to get into Tintagel was over £30 for 2 OAP's, after we walked along the headland where the grass was smoking in places to the church, then back to Tintagel where we visited the old Post Office (NT)
We just love this site & will be back.

Excellent site excellent hosts. Cleanest site we have ever visited.
Used local bus service to Newquay and Fowey. Ten minute walk to bus stop and local shop\ pub.
Ideal location. But note some traffic noise from A30. We felt sorry to leave.

Facilities were immaculate and the owners couldn’t do enough for you.
About 15 minute drive from Newquay but the village itself is quiet.
Would highly recommend!

Great location for visiting Cornwall.
Although near the road it did not spoil our visit at all.

This is a lovely site. Angela & Steve were absolutely lovely. We had a complimentary cream tea on arrival which was lovely, even gave us a little dish with some dog biscuits which was a lovely touch too.
Very clean facilities, toilets and shower were great. With adequate and regularly emptied rubbish bins.
Spacious pitches, we requested a quiet one as have a nervous dog. We were given number 4 which was the corner so ideal.
There was a bit of road noise from the A30 but wasn’t a problem. It’s a great location for visiting places. We went to Newquay, Lost gardens of Heligan, Bedruthan steps.
A great plus was being adults only so nice and quiet. The only negative is the WiFi which was a bit patchy.
We will def be back.
Thanks again.

Well after missing out on our holiday last year due to lockdown it was lovely to come back to Resparva again. Angela & Steve own/run the site and give a warm welcome to everyone, along with a nice cuppa & biscuits to help you settle in after your journey.
The site is a small adults only, but the pitches are generous grass or hard standing & take caravans, campavans & tents.
There isn't a dog walk but the lane outside the site is at hand. You are near to the A30, so you will get some road noise sometimes, depending on which way the wind is blowing, this has never bothered us.
The site is well shielded with trees/bushes around the edge and each pitch is also separated by hedging giving you some privacy.
A small toilet block, 1 shower, 2 loos, 2 sinks each men & women are kept very clean & antibacterial wipes & hand wash are provided. There is pot washing facilities outside, fresh drinking water, waste water etc + a separate shower if needed within the main house & utility room with a washer for your needs at £3 per wash.
The price per night is very good too.
You are a steady 8-10 mins walk from Summercourt village where you can catch the local bus to Newquay or Fowey. If going to Truro I would suggest driving to the P&R at Regurra then catching the bus in, it saves the hassle of looking for somewhere to park, it was £2 per person for us & is open till around 8pm.
There is also a Waiterose supermarket there too so handy for getting bits & pieces. Once in Truro you can catch different bus's and get to lots of places free of charge if like us you have a bus pass. The buses keep to good time keeping & are plenty, so enjoy.
We will be back again, we just love it here.
