Lovely location, quiet and views are beautiful.

Our two little boys thoroughly enjoyed their 1st camping experience!

Will be returning in the future

The campsite is in an excellent location for Burton Bradstock village and it's two excellent pubs.

There is also a relatively short walk to Freshwater Beach which is dog friendly and has excellent water quality.

We were disappointed with our stay as the owner seemed intent to squash in as many vehicles as possible, despite it supposedly being restricted to five!

We were given a hard standing pitch in front of an old stable block and were hemmed in by vehicles on both sides.

I reckon there were at least double the number of vehicles there should have been on site.

Although we had EHU, to be charged the full rate of £20 despite being squashed in like sardines was a bit naughty! 4/10

Manor Farm campsite is a lovely small site surrounded by fields yet within very convenient walking distance of the village of Burton Bradstock and the two lovely pubs. It’s also a short and pleasant walk to both Hive Beach and Freshwater Bay.

The pitches are generously sized and have electric hook up but the other facilities are very basic (a point which, in fairness, the owner was a great lengths to explain).

There are two toilets and one shower which is coin operated. They are adequate if you don’t have onboard facilities. We would have found some signage helpful because the first time we walked into the village we went the long way round, not realising that there was a lovely short cut through the farm.

There is also a nice path (good for dog walks) from the site directly to Freshwater Bay but, again, it isn’t signed and we had to discover it for ourselves.

Peter greeted us and was such a friendly and informative host. I was really appreciative of all the local knowledge. He showed us where the facilities were and where to pitch.

The site is part of a farm yard with some industrial units, but it is quiet, tranquil and a lovely place to explore on foot. Too many walks to mention, but with the beach less than 10 minutes walk away it was our obvious choice as only here for a night.

The Anchor pub serves delicious fresh seafood. And it's very dog friendly too.

We will definitely be coming back for a longer stay. 😃

(Regarding child friendly, we cannot comment as we didn't have a child with us)

We have visited this campsite numerous times, Peter the owner was very helpful and friendly. Super location in the heart of the village opposite 1 of the 2 pubs in the village.

The toilet facilities are basic but functionable, the shower is coin operated and costs 20pence for about 40 seconds, a tad expensive if you have any hair, we put £1 coin in each shower. But if you have your own facilities not a problem.

There are plenty of walks around the village and along the coast.

One recommendation is The Parlour on Needy Lane, fantastic food and Cider made on the farm, but, booking is recommended.

We will definitely be returning to this little peace of heaven.

Lovely site, close to beach, easy to find. Lovely walks. Would have been nice to have hot water for washing up.

Two toilets and a shower, basic but useable. 20 p for 1 minute of warm water in shower, can use 20 p or £1. 00 coins.

Plenty of space on pitches. Nice close and local pubs. Shop in village.

Enjoyed our stay there. Peter is very approachable and relaxed about where you pitch up and was very helpful in letting us have a last minute cancellation.

Will hopefully go back soon. Thank you.

Stayed in rally field below the campsite. Had a lovely welcome and it was all very well organised.

Enjoyed a quiet and very well marked out field. Great sized pitches and also fire break space on either side.

Definitely go there again. Only basic facilities. Fresh water taps and elsan waste disposal.

Nice quiet site. Just perfect !

Toilet and showers were basic, but kept clean. We wanted a quiet peaceful basic campsite and that is what we got.

Very good location. We didn't use the car at all.

Beach, pub and shop all within walking distance, as is Bridport harbour.

We stayed in the paddock and it was lovely. Very flat and peaceful. The view was beautiful.

Close to the very pretty town and some great pubs. Ticked all our boxes except we could only be there one night.

The owner Peter, a keen cyclist was very helpful and charming.

A peacful no frills, back to basics CS site in a perfect location, charging a fair price per night.

Friendly helpful owner Peter, have us lots of local information on our arrival inc where the excellent pubs are in the area both a short walk from the site.

We were unable to use the facilities due to covid restrictions so cannot comment on these.
